This entire game is almost now reliant on if Blarg and Kawl can figure out if their would be abyss-gazer is friend or foe. :\

Tempted to ask about their vote in regards to NeverForever/CzarTim in light of this information.
nvm, Time clarified.

Well, I was hoping the discussion would go elsewhere, but Flux seems hell bent on making it about him again.

What's a game day without a role claim? I was resisting the urge to vote myself there and go to bed. I think I might just go to bed. I have a headache now.

Sooo..... the odds of there being two trackers on the same team seems pretty low, and just two trackers in the same game in general seems low.
Hmm... possibilities.
-Kawl is lying, scum, and Blarg is Miller/Tracker -Blarg is lying, and is scum -Blarg is lying about Trackers, but is a miller. Tracker claim was a gambit -Something else?
I'm inclined to believe Blarg simply because he roleclaimed so early.... but his contribution to Day 1 is pretty lackluster where as Kark was giving me town vibes.
Lastly, for when Ty4on gets on, I think we can play it pretty lose if we need to. It is extremely likely that Launch, Blarg, or Kark will bear'd today so...

Blawl being scum (which is looking more and more likely) does throw a wrench into my thought of what happened during the night.

One thing we can be quite confident of is that Blawl and Karkhead are both trackers. If either of them is something else, like the night killing scum, they would have to guess something. If we assume Kark is the killer then Blawl could have tracked the doctor. They could have tried outing the doctor, but there's no guarantee Blawl would have fallen for it.

Sounds like Blawl could be neutrals. I'm not sure what their goal would be though.

"If they watched me act like a scummy asshole, it might have tipped them in favor of outing me - if they are Town."
We're barely in Day 2. Somehow this excuse doesn't quite fly with me.

Welcome! I guess you need an abbreviated version of what has happened? I would say to just tell him to read this thread but that's not really abbreviated either I've always struggled the first day when catching up. In Danganronpa I joined at the tail end of D1 and had been following the thread, but was completely clueless at the day end voting. In MGS I came in a lot later, but it took a lot of time to remember who died when and what alliance they were

Hey man,
Heads up, I'm doing a student teacher course at the moment and it's pretty hectic, but being a few months in stuff is more under control now so I've got time to get back to having a life outside school haha!
I'll try and catch up on the thread here and on GAF over the next day but a recap would be appreciated!

If you're running tampermonkey scripts and struggling to memorize who is partnered with whom then this script by Retroid could help: pastebin.com/ApB47JfBI got this thing to work in Chrome, but I have no experience sharing scripts. New Userscript.user.js (2.09 KB)

Woohoo! One caveat, it's kinda hard to summarize the nuances, but I'll do my best. 99% is also from my memory so it might not be 100% accurate. Game start post 251: You've probably heard of it already, but Flux claims alignment cop right out of the gate and is immediately criticised for it and receives a couple of votes for it. His partner, Timeaisis, had said beforehand that he would be busy and didn't reply to any of this until much later. After a while Blarg and Kawl (or as I will call them from now on, Blawl) start posting the usual crazy stuff and eventually revealed that they are Millers with a Tracking ability. They said they were going to claim anyways, but figured with Flux' reveal that they could use the opportunity to track Fluxaisis and confirm both of them. Now we get our first real vote leader. Flame_AC (lover with Coppa) votes Blawl because he will never trust millers and this along with some suspicion thrown at Coppa puts a lot of pressure on them early on in the day. One of the first to throw suspicion on them is actually Sophia.Just so I don't feel left out, here are my notes from back then: [...] Notes from the plane. They're very vague and meandering, but why hide them. Flame_AC 261 "Just to get it out of the way, we're all in favor of a Day 1 Lynch right? Or do we need to have that discussion again?" I'm not sure what to think about this, but it just caught my attention. Maybe because nobody responded to it. Cabot 276 Too long to quote Lists a bunch of possibilities for Flux' claim. Stuff like this often triggers my scum detectors because it's a great way of making it seem like you're productive without really doing much. His thoughts also strike me as shallow. Lots of justification for Flux being scum and nothing for him being town. Strangely confident (very direct, not much doubting), but that might just be because it's Cabot. Not a strong scum read, but I certainly don't town read this post. Splinter 297 "Subtle as a brick" Pretty sure he believes time and Flux are veterans fishing for the kill tonight. I can totally see why, but it seems like a weird gambit. I've over thought stuff like that a bajillion times in the past though. A lot of the next part is a blur with people misunderstanding what cop Fluxaisis is, suspicion at Flappa and a lot of shit (and pressure) thrown at Flux for his early reveal. There's also this gif. Right now my read was that Coppa was looking scummy and I started to town read Splinter and Cabot for scumreading him. This is still on my mind because right now Splinter and Cabot are my top scum, but I have no idea where to put Coppa and Flame. This was Sophia's reads in post 543: [...] I haven't quite fully caught up yet since waking up, and I have to get to my morning chores and obligations, but I do want to quickly offer my quick opinion. Flux/Time: As I told Ty4on, I was actually getting a slight town reading from these two. I'm not so sure now. I know Flux pretty well, so I don't want my bias to cloud my judgment here (and it has before), but I could believe it's just a town gambit gone bad. The biggest thing that strikes me as odd is how Flux handled disclosing all of the details. For example, Time claims he said "lol" in the chat, and I find it strange that Flux didn't just explicitly mention this. Giving this a neutral read right now, mostly because of Time. Blarg/Kawl: First random loose observation is that Blarg seems to have dialed back his insanity a little bit from what I've previously seen of him. I did like the Team Rocket shtick going on tho. As for the Miller/Tracker claim, I'm not of the "Policy lynch the miller" camp right now, as that seems shortsighted. Kawl did mention that "we haven't revealed the name of our pairing", which is interesting. Leaning slightly town on these two. Coppa/Flame: I no longer have an odd feeling about Coppa's posts right now, his response to me was satisfactory there. I'm keeping an eye on what other people say about Coppa, seeing as they know him better than I do. As for Flame... again, I found the "lynch the millers!" a bit shortsighted, but echoing what I said before I don't feel strongly about it. Leaning Neutral right now. Everyone else: The 30 players makes this game hard to keep track of compared to an average mafia game. I'll give more people a look over once I get back from my morning obligations. Consider none of these strong feelings as of right now, just loose observations. Off the top of my head: I poked Launch because at the time he had posted a few gifs and hadn't offered too much in the way of observations, but since then he's offered up his opinion. *Splinter has been slightly aggressive with his vote, but he's been helping as far as I can tell, and prodding people. batsnacks has been playing as I expected him to play from previous experiences, nothing strange there. I don't think we've seen anything from his partner MagnumBoy? I'll have to look back later. I think around this time is when people started paying attention to those who had been very low in activity like Magnum and UltraJay. Those two were not replaced, but Rest and Miracle were. Post 570, Kark starts questioning the Miller/Tracker claim. This is relevant now that he has claimed tracker, but back then we had no idea. Kark has a misunderstanding of how the game mechanics work (thinking scum PRs getting results before the kill is initialized) and batsnacks comes up with this plan for what Fluxaisis and Blawl should do tonight to confirm each other: Most are negative and point out flaws like how this can reveal another PR. Lot's of read lists, some pressure at Gorlak and Launch and some suspicion at CzarTim for being quite inactive. El Topo and Retroid are also mentioned for having been quite inactive (both are still in the game). So many read lists. There's probably some useful stuff here, but nothing really caught my attention until we got three votes starting with Launch's vote. This also caught my attention. There weren't that many votes at Fluxaisis at this point. Four from the last count in a game with sixteen for majority. Hyperactivity and kingkitty now have five votes and are in the lead. Hyper yells: "WHY ARE THERE SO MANY POSTS.....!!" and posts a picture of his notes. It's not terribly well received and they're still in the lead. Retroid is pressured for being inactive and makes a couple of posts. Just under it we have Blarg's diary entry if you felt like reading it. Now we're just one page away from post 1300 and I'll let Sophia take it over from here because I can't possibly make anything as detailed as this.In a nutshell votes started going from Hyperkitty over to UltraJay and BooBoo'n for their inactivity. UltraJay even self votes at one point. Flux is really clear on that he doesn't want either of them lynched and starts the vote against CzarTim and Never Forever which ultimately wins out and they are revealed to be a power role with a one shot immunity against any night action, town aligned.

D2 starts here:Timaisis reveals that he and Flux were lying and were didn't have a role. Blawl reveals looking at someone who targeted them, but don't want to reveal their name. Eventually Karkador reveals that he and Zipped were the ones who targeted Blawl because they were also trackers and suspicious of their claim. We're still kind of on this right now with the lynch on most people's mind being one of them to confirm the other thinking that one has to be scum.
