Neat, our own little form.
So, Ty4on, I dunno if you've seen the old Werewolf scum chat or the spectator chats I was in after, but I have a tendency to note a lot of details. So hopefully this comes in handy for you because more than once I've made an observation that's right on the money but interpreted wrong.
I also don't know if you've seen the old Werewolf game or Final Fantasy, but I also panic easily. Thus, I'm gonna be doing a Casanova 80s type RP to keep the edge off my anxiety. Let me know if I need to tone it down or not. I apologize ahead of time if I make a mistake that gets us lynched.

Don't worry about that. I've had an alibi in three out of five mafia games played and in the second hand without one I was almost lynched on D1 and lynched D2 I rarely read scum chats post game, but I'm intrigued by your analysis. Personally I try to figure out someone's intentions and see if they look like they're genuinely trying to hunt scum. I doubt myself a lot so be prepared for a lot of speciation. The big advantage with a chat like this is that we can get a second opinion. BTW, do you think a Junpei avatar would fit? I'm not finished with Persona 3, but I have gotten Aigis in my team.

Had to go get my ID renewed so I can vote. I'm baaack now! Junpei would work. He does flirt a lot with everyone. Maybe try and find one from "Operation: Babe Hunt"? I'd switch off my Aigis avatar, but I'm afraid to do so. Last few times I did people were declaring it the end of the world. >_>; I tend to look less at intentions and more at personality traits. For example, in the first Werewolf game (before it got stopped.... gee I wonder who caused that? >.>) I was almost right on the money on how my PersonaGAF folks would act. In the rebooted game's spectator thread I had my suspicions of Flux change over the course of the thread and was basically two steps removed of realizing he was a doppelganger. Of the people in this current game, I'm familiar with FluxWaveZ, Launch, Cabot, batsnacks, Timeaisis, and Blargonaut to a degree. Flux from what I saw in Werewolf was more aggressive the more vanilla townie he was. Before the reboot he was a townie, and he played very aggressively (similar to Darryl, if you've played with him.) After the reboot, he rethought his strategy out a bit. He was a doppelganger that game, but he mellowed out when he became scum (which I mistook for him potentially being town after initially having him as scum.) Launch was in Final Fantasy and took over for me when I bowed out due to anxiety. Despite being a vanilla townie in a power role madness game he played far more aggressive than I did, and made a few mistakes that hurt him in the final stretch of the game. Specifically, he gambitted with a fake role claim when he didn't need to. Cabot was my scum partner in the original Werewolf. The more drunk he is, the more likely he's a Werewolf probably. He's pretty perceptive when not drunk tho. batsnacks was in the original Werewolf game. He caught me on a noob gambit early on due to jitters, and that came back to bite me once someone else examined my posting pattern and figured out I might be scum. Timeaisis was in Werewolf as well. He seems to be a late voter. Don't know too much about him beyond that. Blargonaut was in Final Fantasy with me. I'm sure you're familiar with him. >_>; He had a role to play each day phase, for potentially being NK immune. He successfully got the immunity almost every day too. Pretty hard to read, but I feel confident in deciphering him if need be. Of the teams I know right now, I feel like Timeaisis and Flux are one to watch out for. Timeaisis can easily cover for Flux's one big weakness (missing the forest for the trees) if need be, and that makes them a pretty dangerous team. Blargonaut and Kawl may be dangerous too, as I hear Blarg keeps very meticulous details about everything everyone does. The other teams I'm not so sure of yet.

I thought of a Junpei avatar for me He is the closest I have to someone flirting with Aigis, but now that you mention it's probably because he flirts with everybody. I dunno if Rise would fit your roleplaying? P4 MC is so dull though. I completely agree with Flux. I wonder if how he'd act as a townie with the chat for input. Kawl is a little hard to read in my experience, but I've never seen him as scum. He has in the past slipped under the radar and been night killed quite early, but he is aware of that and I think that is why Kawl in early games and Kawl in later games are so different. I have no idea how to read Blarg, but I think CzarTim will go hard on him D1. He made it very public in Volcano Island that he wanted to policy lynch Blarg *Splinter has a habit of flipping scum. He's been described a lot as someone who plays like town as scum and scum as town. I think that is because he tried to be helpful and feigns being concerned as scum. In my experience he will also be a bit cautious as scum and respond carefully to criticism. I have very little experience with him as town, but he seems more direct and carefree as town. Cabot I've never seen as scum, but in Volcano Island he was by far my strongest town read. The best clue I have for CzarTim is that he has a very good idea of what is going on as town, but seems to be a bit more passive there as scum. I have never played with him as town though and base that off of the ending of Warewoof 2. Zipped is often misread as scum, but at the same time I'm not sure how to read him. I don't think he has ever been scum though. I've played two games with TL21xx. He was town, but he was also very busy and inactive in both of them. He seemed hard to read, but from what I remember also responded well to pressure. It's been a long time since I've played with Rest (Danganronpa), but he was very memorable. He was fairly inactive, but when pushed he got quite aggressive and seemed genuine. He was town and lynched in the mid/end. The rest I'm quite uncertain of. I should know kingkitty by now, but I find him really hard to read. Coppa I was somewhat correct about in Night Vale, but he completely flew under the radar in Volcano Island. I've played with BooBoo'n, UltraJay and Karu, but am not sure how to read them. Boo was quite aggressive as town, Ultra looked quite townie as neutral while Karu was quite passive as town and scum. I completely misread Karu in Heist and thought he was scum till the end.

Noted on everyone. Does seem like it's slowly becoming a policy to lynch Blarg. >.>;
Also the mods appear to be having waaay too much fun with the theme. XD

I'm not sure how much you read about Volcano, but in it CzarTim got no support for lynching Blarg. Different players and all, but it would be really weird if they agreed on lynching Blarg. I didn't mention Kark or Launch because I haven't played with them, but I can't wait to analyze them --------- I always find the pregame is always so weird because we're in this weird limbo with roles, but not playing the game... I hope to liven up a bit when the game starts. As a heads up I'll be traveling when the game starts so my activity will probably be muted the first 12-15 hours.

That's kind of what happened in Final Fantasy too, there's a whole "POLICY LYNCH BLARG~!" feeling and then it just fizzled out.
Of course, Scum won in the end because Blarg was there sooo...
And that's fine, I can cover the first few hours by being over-the-top.

All this talk about the voting system makes me want to plaaaaay.... Some other random pre-game observations that are probably useless once the game starts: Flux and Timeaisis have only posted once each. Blarg hasn't posted at all. The new players. Kyanrute and Camjo-Z. have only posted once each Cabot is the biggest poster

Heh, yeah Cabot talks a lot I was thinking of how to read him, but he will probably do most of the work for us. Blarg not posting before the game starts seems normal. For Timeaisis and Flux I have no idea why. Flux' only post was very... Fluxian... though. I always forget about the new players so thanks for bringing them up.

Flux's post is... interesting. It's hard to tell if he's acting normally (and thus likely town), or if he's paying attention to how he acts. No real way to tell either without getting into WIFOM.

It is maybe a bit stiff, but I still find it very direct and spontaneous. Seems like a weird first post if you're afraid of making an impression.
Not that I town read him, it didn't really budge me one way or the other.

I don't think he's afraid of making an impression, rather that he might be trying to change the impression he gives. We'll see once it starts.
The other person I'm keeping an eye on is *Splinter, mostly because he's posting a lot and I don't know him... trying to get a feel of how he'll behave.

Hard to give tips on reading him, but last time he was scum over giveaway I should have noticed more of in retrospect was that his opinions were inconsistent. He argued strongly that I was scum, but brought up what we should do if I flipped town without second guessing his own opinion.

Okay, firstly, I wanna hear Time's side of the conversation before anything else. I'm not voting Flux off prematurely just yet. But the roleclaim sounds shady as shit and isn't good for town either way.
Also LOL at Blarg and Kawl. What a great way to start the game. XD

Getting some jitters. Ugh.

Thinking Flux, Time, Coppanuva and Flame_AC might be all be scum. Flame's vote is very strange, and makes me think he's digging for a lead to push on. Flux's roleclaim/gambit doesn't make any sense from a town point of view. Time not chiming in to confirm/deny what Flux is saying makes the falsifiability of it questionably too.
Also, as a followup, I am experiencing pretty big jitters now. Unable to post anymore in the main thread.

"Picked them at random; it's not like I had anything to go by when I placed the vote there. Still don't, since Karu's only made a single post expressing his bewilderment."
This is something I actually believe might be true.

You aren't scum, you don't need to do any ridiculous gambits. Worst case you make a mistake, but you have a partner that can back you up. And getting lynched/mislynching isn't the end of the world. :)

I would find something else to occupy your attention and drop out if you feel the same tomorrow. I haven't caught up yet (will try to on board this plane) and should obviously not decide for you, but I think it'll look different tomorrow when you're not the lone poster. Whatever you decide, it's been a pleasure to play with you!

See, this is the problem. It's not even a gambit. I'm not really a fan of gambits, as they're usually pretty silly. It's just a simple observation and I can't bring myself to post it.... ugh, we'll see.
