You scared me, I thought D2 had already started I just got off and can be there for the day start, but I'm going to see Deadpool in two hours.

More people die in Deadpool then in our Mafia game, it seems.

Yeah that last second bandwagon on cabot is going to make people suspicious of us. I'm not sure the logic of it myself, actually...

Yeah that last second bandwagon on cabot is going to make people suspicious of us. I'm not sure the logic of it myself, actually... Excactly. To paraphrase whoever said it in Phoenix Wright you strip the lies from their story until it can't stand anymore. In this case figure out how to explain that it doesn't make sense. I'm catching up BTW, had to reheat some food.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes = "Who will guard the guards?" or, as more well known in fiction, "Who Watches the Watchmen?"
I looked into the target, and the target looked back = Friedrich Nietzsche? “He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss the abyss also gazes into you”
My interpretation of Blarg's nonsense: Flux and Blarg targeted each other...? I dunno.

batsnacks' idea that he looked at nobody (or someone who didn't do anything) also sounds plausible (the abyss).

Kawl just clarified. I was right about whoever Blarg targeted targeted them as well.
Also I wish to put in a classified ad: "AMATEUR BLARG TRANSLATOR. $1.25 A PARAGRAPH! RESULTS NOT GUARANTEED"

Hmm.... we still have no proof there was a doctor. But if there is a doctor and they targeted one of our role claim pairs, that's good luck.

I think our scum team might be leaning on the amateurish side, on that note. Usually a scum team would have aimed where they thought a doctor wasn't going to be. But of course you can WIFOM that and assume that's what they just want people to think...
At any rate, I'm keeping an eye out to how people react to the no night kill. Might be some information there.

It's not like anyone else are going to find out what he really means Hey If I'm offering a service, I need to be upfront with my clients. Sooo.... seems the trains of thoughts are "Who visited Kawl/Blarg?", "Why was Launch acting scummy at the end there?", and "What will Flux/Time tell us?"

Okay so, Kawl/Blarg did not target Time/Flux. Interesting.

Kawl/Blarg definitely should not give anyone information, least of all Launch. It's more powerful if they hang onto it until the end of the day.

If there is a doctor, perhaps scum targeted Kawl/Blarg, but the doctor blocked it? Kawl and Blarg saw it as a benevolent action as a result of that, as they did not die.
This assumes there is a doctor tho...

Hmm.... would a serial killer work in this game? They'd have to be a pair of serial killers with a shared kill.
Doesn't seem likely. People being far-fetched.

I could actually see a survivor pair (and I bet you anything some people might be thinking we're that) but not a serial killer. Off-topic but how was Deadpool?

Not earth shattering, but it was cool and enjoyable. I'm not a comic book guy, but I was intrigued by the good press and that it stood out from the crowd. I actually didn't know anything about Deadpool beforehand. I read up a bit on him before going and from what little I know I thought he was portrayed well and the meta commentary was well done, but never felt forced. Regarding his portrayal, even his costume looks snarky. It was a little disappointing though after all the posters that there were like two seconds of his ass in a film with quite a lot of nudity. Those seem mostly targeted at the dick jokes.

I was hoping for a reveal. Or maybe that Flux/Time targeted us. Not this.
I need a moment to comprehend this stupidity. This puts all of Flux's actions in Day 1 in a different light.

I'm not sure if I'm going to comment on this tonight, but stuff like this worries me: I think it's more likely for there to be someone bulletproof then for a doctor to have guessed a target correctly. Unless mafia went for one of the revealed power roles and a doctor followed suit. Do we think mafia would really go for a power role? And then there's Flux saying he didn't want a doctor to protect him. I'm not sure which is more likely, but I lean towards bulletproof over a bad mafia target and obvious doctor protection. Fluxaisis looked like they were soft claiming a vet role which should instantly make scum (and protectors) ignore them D1. Then there's just one obvious choice, Blawl. It's not guaranteed, but I'd say it is very likely. Add in the fact that the one person they looked at also looked at them. Regardless of who watched them it signals that they were the lightning rod that night (metaphorically obviously ).

This does explain why we couldn't get an accurate answer out of Flux as to what happened in his day chat. It's also illegal: You may use this chat during either day or night phases. Please treat this chat as if it was PM conversation, aka. Please dont't directly quote anything posted in here!

I mean the dancing around of what was actually in the chat, not the specifics. They could paraphrase it.
Also, I'm thinking more and more likely our doctor protected Kawl and Blarg, and that mafia also targeted them and were blocked.
As for who Kawl and Blarg targeted, hard telling if it was the mafia or the doctor.

Also, I'm thinking more and more likely our doctor protected Kawl and Blarg, and that mafia also targeted them and were blocked. I should have figured that out. It crept up in the back of my head. I think that is one place where we can take time into the equation. It took Flux a loooot of time to paraphrase that short conversation.

It's also a very good thing that Kawl and Blarg did not target Flux for their ability. Likewise a very good thing that they're not revealing what they saw. They may have just lucked out and stumbled onto a goldmine of information if they're telling the truth
