Funny part is the scum would have most likely tried again the next night, and fail again, until Kyan had to claim.

Wait is the harem guy whoever that is the actual cop?
They'll never figure that out if so.

No, there's also female scum members. But they used male scum members to do the kills.

I'm like 90% sure town is doomed this game, to be honest.
Hatmoza trusting cabot enough to ask him to join a special chat is a bad sign.

Yeah, the town folks that are left are new or not very active or both, on top of everything else.

"If you're in a secret chat with someone and you don't know their alignment, then that person is scum" It was like my first post. lol. But without an actual cop to tell them who to lynch, town isn't pulling this off. And i doubt town got a cop on top of a doctor and a tracker.

It does him no favors.

YOU'VE GOT SOME SPLAININ TO DO, DUSKY Real talk tho: I think you could have avoided a lynch had you just been straight up honest with town and told them everything, instead of encouraging a lynch on a target (I.E. YOU) who you know is a mislynch. Dragonz was already starting to be convinced, and you technically caught some scum in a bad spot. At least one of the scum votes on you was super scummy.

I didn't want the scum team to know exactly what I could do at night. That's why I didn't come clean. Like for instance if they had a roleblocker or something, they might have wasted it on me at night instead of someone who could actally do something. Especially since the red check I was alluding to was just Haly/Blarg, who was already dead anyways. I was planning to read through D3 and try to come up with a read list based on which players I felt weren't genuinely trying to figure out which between me and Kyan were actually scum, but Burb shortening the night phase like that through me off. I thought I would have way more time. I wish I had taken notes throughout the day in hindsight. I probably should have just waited until I finished my reread to start posting though.

Decided to go bold and it burned me but it was still fun. Would've loved to have shifted to a third party on the basis that RF was a solved problem but once it started going thunderdome there was no way to turn it back.

Yeah but you were basically ordinary at that point. It didn't matter if scum killed you.

Regarding Arkham Asylum... I love the way a certain pair are distancing themselves in the game. Easily the standout preformance so far. Are CCS/Verelios lovers? Really didn't want to push this further as it was damn near bound to blow up in my face if I did.

Yeah but you were basically ordinary at that point. It didn't matter if scum killed you. No I just mean I potentially could have gotten them to waste an investigative or roleblocking power on me. Whereas if they knew I had used up all my shots they wouldn't have bothered. I don't think they would have tried to night kill me, but I never would have expected them to go after Kyanrute or Palmer so who knows really.

If you had claimed vig, that you killed Blarg, and then lied about your shots (or they wouldn't believe you anyway), they would have come after you, and maybe someone would have been watching you.

There's also the issue of the fact that scum will be gunning for the lynch on you. They know you screwed up, and they know town's temperament. Surviving the mislynch and potentially taking down scum was more important than trying to confuse scum actions in the night, when your survival wasn't guaranteed.

I love the coordination between the two of them in the private chat, and they're playing scummy enough that the scum team hasn't even attempted to shoot Sorian!

They've been talking about it a lot though, and as well as the two have been playing, their scum reads are a little off, so probably won't be hitting their target any time soon.

Surviving the mislynch and potentially taking down scum was more important than trying to confuse scum actions in the night, when your survival wasn't guaranteed. I definitely should have been trying harder to fight the mislynch. I was basically goading them to lynch me which is pretty terrible town play. If you had claimed vig, that you killed Blarg, and then lied about your shots (or they wouldn't believe you anyway), they would have come after you, and maybe someone would have been watching you. That wouldn't have worked anyway because there isn't a watcher in the game. Only a tracker. Also, the whole point of the Psylocke gambit was that the scum team knew from the start that a name cop wouldn't return the character Psylocke from an investigation. This created a difference in their approach to the claim. Actual town players were questioning me and Kyanrute for information, trying to deduce which claim was true/false. The scum team didn't bother doing that because they already knew I was lying. They mainly avoided commenting on it except for a few quips here and there, and to smugly point out what the "correct" meta play should be. Honestly, that's what I should have spent the day focusing on saying. I think if they go read through D3 with that in mind they can find the scum team. They still have like 4 mislynches in hand. (Well, depending on who the arsonist takes out anyway.)
