One more thing - I imagine "event" games like Gafia are always going to be bigger. They kind of have to be. We had more than thirty signups for this game, so much so that we had to spin off to a separate game to get everyone in. Gafia's a celebration of the community, and I think whoever runs the next one has a responsibility to let at many people play as is feasible.

Yeah main seasons are better with recruiting, I agree. My main concern is the impression main season games should be larger (what's the best way to introduce people to the community? Make them remember 29 other faces at once)
If there was a way to encourage a format for main season games that was closer to 4-5 16-18, maybe up to 20 player games, I think that would be best. IMO main season games have one purpose, recruitment, and asides from that there's nothing else. No other real difference should be there

i agree with retro about the main season stuff. i also have thought about getting rid of it, but it has perks.
also yeah, i asked not to be in gafia 2 since i was in gafia 1. i didn't like the idea that i may get continuous preferential spotlight whilst there are still so many other members of the community, quieter ones, that havent gotten the community's share of attention :) but i can be used as a role again in future games, i've said as much :>! just prefer..... not consecutively.

I think some people prefer smaller and some people prefer larger. Same as some prefer vanilla or crazy. We could definitely do a better job in having a variety of game sizes, but I think putting a limit on it is a bad idea.
With a sufficient variety in games available it's up to the players to join the games more suitable to them (although most people still choose based on fluff unfortunately)

Oo I'm "problematic"? Hype You're surprised, lover? I think the flips have helped Ouro's claim, if he claimed before a player flipped with a surprising alignment, i think more questions would be asked. Unless my flip is about to be some kind of lesson/intervention into alcoholism. In which case I'll drink to it. I'd keep the seasons, and agree with Splinter on size being a preference along with crazy/bastard. I think we're seeing a bit of the problems of a smaller game in 2.5, but I agree that some main season games should maybe try to vary up the counts.

Would be a bit unfair on a cowlicker to have a commuter in the same game.

i think scum figured out who their hidden partner is! Now let's see if that changes the course of the game...

They figured it out because he used one of the fake claims I gave to them.
Except that the partner didn't know those claims. He hit it by pure luck.

I think Cam is playing well this game. I don't know if he is right about Burb but this attack is not unreasonable.
If Cam successfully gets the Burb lynch then this will backfire pretty hard... but I'm not expecting that to happen.
Don't really understand Tim's vote on him... He's distracting from the evidence against him by drawing attention to himself?
One mistake (from a pure town POV) Cam is making is dismissing the D1 votes. You hit scum! That is very useful! Possible he is ignoring this on purpose (as neutral) but I think he has underestimated it's usefulness.

Scum getting wrecked

THE ARSONIST IS IGNITING HIS TARGETS...
...unfortunately, he can't because he's roleblocked.

That was an interesting game. I was expecting to get lynched today since my claim was just to prolong it in the short term. I was actually planning on claiming neutral but appear as mafia when investigated then opted against it. I didn't mention my alignment in my claim so that I could try to point to that as "technically" not lying about my role.
Tomorrow will be interesting since there isn't as clear a lynch as there was today.

Tonight, they could turn it around. For the first time in the game, Scum has the ability to freely move around the two tables and use their night actions. Scum's abilities are mostly based on proximity, and so far, due to Launchpad and Xam, they haven't been able to freely move to use their abilities. Tonight, that changes. Now to see if they can actually do anything with it.

If scum goes through with their current plans then town is about to get wrecked by some lucky coincidences.

It's not looking good.
They have completely adopted launchpad's expectations and attitudes.
I told em, I TOLD em, millennium hand and shrimp.
Stop believing claims, you suckers. And how are people believing AB is ordinary after he was going on about knowing things about night actions, and how he can nearly confirm launchpad?

Burb just completely bared his soul, and now nobody is going to respond, because it's Saturday morning, and everyone is asleep.
Except for me. Why am I not asleep? Oh right, Gafia.
Oh, welcome to the Dead thread, Bronx-man.

"I forgot to mention this at first, but I received a drink. The fluff went out of its way to make it seem harmless."
The fluff does try to make it seem harmless. A lot of people make alcohol seem harmless, and it is, in moderation. Likewise, this alcohol is harmless - in moderation.

Who got protected? I am actually surprised the kill on bronxman went through. AbsolutBro. That's why Launchpad is pushing on him so hard. Launch is a Jailor (Protector AND Roleblocker) and he thinks he prevented the arsonist from dousing anyone else. In reality, the scum team accidentally blocked Camjo, who is the real arsonist.
