This might have the interesting side effect of drawing out those lingering mafia votes to turbo Blarg and not let this fire get too hot under Splinter's feet. I see you, Boo..

This is insane, we have 24 players but it seems like only 16 or so are actually playing...
Does this qualify as an "uneccessary gambit"? It's definately not math or an aged cheese...

Decision day

Post by zippedpinhead on Feb 25, 2016 6:38:50 GMT -8
at least the last 24 hours hasn't been boring...
I'm afraid if blarg does flip town. It means we likely die, the Splinter/Cabot flip would be very entertaining AND it forces scum into a spot (do they kill one of the trackers, OR do they bank of town trying to lynch them again).

Legit nervous for the flip

I'm just glad everyone got in here on this vote... Except for HoboHobo and Retroid. At least karu has a vote (even though it is a complete waste of a vote)

Same, this was a crazy day. And somebody had balls.
If they flip town, we die from scum (assuming no ridiculousness).
So we should use our ability regardless.
If they flip scum, who knows...

they flipped scum...
good game, we got played, but hey town prevailed... so we use our ability on?

we made the correct decision forcing the vote for blarg,
No way scum lets us live.
Ultraboo? *Splinter?

Preliminary thoughts:
-We're probably dying.
-Actually, maybe not. Mafia might decide to play up the angle that our side-adventure on Splinter was scum protecting scum. "If Blarg was actually crazy enough to try his gambit, anything can happen" So maybe they'll go after another target, and let Town mob us tomorrow.
- Or they really will just kill us, because probably still are Trackers.

Since we are going to die, we need to track. Just in case we live to tomorrow, at least we will have some sort of information.
so did Blarg claim three sets of town people (because at this point time/flux should be cleared, no way they try and pivot one scum for another before we try to flip to just *splinter) or just two (us and timeflux.
I think the Ultraboo thing shook them, I also think that our pivot to *splinter probably revealed some scum that had been waiting to try and "rock the boat/dogpile" onto another person.
The day 1 gambits... no way that two scum teams tried that. further reason to NOT look at timeflux.
I personally think we should look at Ultraboo or Launch's team. ultraboo because we are already getting scum reads before today's shenanigans, and launch/gorlak because him and Gorlak put the final bullet into Blawl.
Splinter and Cabot could still be scum, I'm just not sure they will do anything tonight because of our trying to flip the vote.

Yep, I gotta say, I wholly agree.
I'm going to comb through the list of votes, but boojay sounds like a good choice.
Also, did you notice that Blawl really were 3shot like us?

|
Post by zippedpinhead on Feb 25, 2016 9:26:57 GMT -8
Yeah i saw that... sneaky sneaky...
if they had revealed three shot I do not think I ever would have tried to flip the vote. But hindsight, 20/20, and all that.

I wonder why they chose to say it was unlimited

|
|

so they could easily claim when they got "role blocked" and still sound useful to the discussion. probably even post about "why aren't they killing me instead of blocking me night after night?"
also for a smokescreen, i think its pretty obvious that we do not have an alignment cop now...

what makes it obvious? just the lack of a miller?

what makes it obvious? just the lack of a miller? Yep never played a game with an alignment cop that didn't have a Miller or godfather. and why have one and not the other. burbeting: you should give blarg and kawl spectator access in our thread... Just so if it interests them they can see how well they had us going.

Burb, I want to ask a rather complex mechanics/timing question, which may or may not even apply to the game. A simple "yes" or "no" will suffice.
If there's a switcher in this game, and they switch us with someone else,
and we choose to track ourselves tonight,
would we effectively track ourselves, or would we track whoever we were switched with?
