Which is why I considered the possibility that both Czar and Ridi are scum. What posts? Czar put an early vote for ridli and I didn't really seem to defend him. This is the closest I saw him to defending: Not helpful at all if you really are town, rid  It was more about the early vote, not any overt defending. An early vote is bussing, if both are scum. |

You're right that its a waste of time to drag it out. I was going to wait until tomorrow but i'm impatient.
Before the game officially started I was offered a role modification. I could become a Medium, but it included some rather negative drawbacks as well. By passing, it would then be offered to another player on the next night. I didnt feel comfortable taking what could be a crucial role, and i knew this way i could support them when they claimed. Nobody has today so i might just be fucked, but there it is.
If you're missing the implications there, it means we may have a medium with access to 10+ people this night phase. It also means the dead are still semi-participating.

As for talking to dead, i sort of thought we were going to have a bunch of day kills. Not 9 though. Volcanos are similar to Spanish inquisitions in that way. |

I'll give you that a medium sounds plausible. With the huge number of deaths, and the flavor of spirits being in the game, it seems even natural.

You wanted me to do something helpful, here you go. I can vouch for whoever the medium is. Theres a chance they're scum now, i guess, but i assume scum had all of their roles already. A scum medium seems weird and unlikely. |

Eh, I see you already did this, I don't trust you in the least so this medium non-sense sounds like bullshit but to answer your question, no, my role wasn't optional. I had three posts and then I would be modkilled and revived in the same day phase (I wasn't given any time frame pre-death but Splinter let me know how long I'd be "dead" after I died). So, I guess I could have tried to get away with posting once day 1, once day 2, and then finally having to die and revive day 3 if I really felt it was necessary but I didn't see any point beating around the bush and getting myself under suspicion if I wasn't posting my usual amount. On to this medium business, put simply, I don't believe you. A roaming power isn't unheard of, cthulhu even had one but the you saying that you were offered this power and then declined? Nah, I don't believe that, that would just allow people to know about the mechanic ahead of time and confirm someone else. That's an unfair advantage even if we assume that it was a power that could go to any of the three factions (town, scum, neutral). |

People like to see how others react to pressure, and you made some inconsistent comments. I think you might be telling the truth unfortunately, so hopefully you haven't jeopardized some power role. I am only quoting this to say that this isn't so much about the presence of a medium but more about the possibility of it being a power that people could turn down and subsequently verify someone else because of that outside knowledge. |

I'm not at all assuming it can go to three factions. I literally just said that im fairly sure its town based, and probably manipulated to ensure it escaped the volcano.
