I'd also like to begin talking D1, since I'm exciteable and that, I'm also weary one of us could be killed before the day begins, so having our thoughts down for the remaining players is useful.
We should focus on players that either single out Makai, or declare some interest in him. I'm thinking something as simple as a 'RNG' that hits him. The jailer will probably show some interest in his target. We could get very lucky and he/she claims outright.
Other than that, the usual rough and tumble of sussing out as much information as possible, trying to determine who is who, standard town play really. My first vote is going on Septimus Prime, because amusing history, though I'll be switching throughout.
Also keep an eye for insta-votes with regards to cops who want their intention made clear without claiming.
I don't quite understand what you mean, surely Makai knows because he has access to this chat, he just can't post.
Makai would know yes, because he's scum and has a scum chat which he cant use if jailed. Would a townie/town PR know he would be jailed? Remember they don't have a chat to access (unless masons/lovers)
So what we really need to know once Makai returns is did he get alerted via PM if he was jailed, if he didn't, then we can't claim to be jailed as we would reveal that we found out through some other means. The jailer will likely be alerted in his role PM what the target gets notified.
Not really sure about Makai claiming he was jailed or not. Assuming he received a standard notification regardless of role, maybe he should only do so if the jailer hints to his/her existence. I'm thinking it might be anti-town if he comes out with it right away.
Notice how there is no mention of notification on the target. I think there's a good chance someone won't know they're jailed unless the jailer claims and said they targeted a person on this night, and if they are a PR then can confirm or not confirm if their ability worked.
