Oh wow, that went well. Poor Bronx though, I know how not getting to use your PR which would have saved you from a lynch feels >_> Ideas on tonight's plan? I posted some suggestions earlier but I do plan to keep up with my reread and see if anything else sticks out. So far I do think it goes: CM: Neutral Sophia: Double Voter Stan: Some sort of PR Royal: Some sort of PR ( did boast about never being NKed though... ) With Sophia having an openly shown ability she might have some protective/watcher PR on her tonight. Same goes for most of the openly Town-read people, but after how the Day End went down I'm not sure who trusts whom anymore. Personally I think we should consider keeping everyone alive who was on the last minute Bronx vote because of the attention it will probably gather tomorrow. So that would be Stan, Sophia, Ynnek, and Splinter. And Roy, of course. <3 We could always go for Gorlak. Town-read by most and is generally level-headed when he plays Town, not afraid to call out other's BS. Although I know LP wanted to build a case on him. :x If we wanted to be BOLD and DARING we could try for Darryl. Although given how Ty-Sophia-Darryl-Splinter have set themselves up and all have only a passing level of trust for each other we can just leave him so they can tear themselves apart. The second they all trust/town read each other is some bad news, though. If we wanted to have a flip reveal absolutely nothing we can go for Barrylocke. Melon/Dusk are possible, but I want to read more and see what the general opinion of them is first. From the top of my head though, Melon > Dusk. Topo/Verelios are bad choices. Topo flipping after what happened with LP may look bad, some thing goes for Verelios' flip. The more I think about it too the more I am hesitant to Roleblock Verelios. If he gets notified of the block then he might say something and then it gets into WIFOM 'well why did person with 1 tunnel vote get roleblocked'. Think I'll cast my vote for Barrylocke to be killed imo. Gives the least amount of info, even if killing a replacement is kinda mean. :c For the roleblock it's up to you guys. With the little we know it's basically a random shot at this point, although going with what I saw I think Stan > Royal isn't a bad pick. |

By the way, just wanted a few second opinions on this.
I'm thinking at the start of the next Day I can either double down on my Verelios tunnel or ease up and begin to realize my mistake of falling into a tunnel.
Leaning towards the latter just because I feel it would be more Townie of me to do but I'm worried the backing down from it might be way too abrupt. Was going to play it off something along the lines of 'noticed through my reread that Verelios commented on how frustrated/annoyed he was with everything and I realized I was doing to him what Kark did to me in PiR. While I wanted to push people more forcefully this time around I think I may have taken it too far to a point where I was blindly tunneling in on him. I still do Scum read him but I want to focus on others this Day phase. Will probably end my vote on him unless something pops up.' and then depending on what he does I might go back to the vote or admit I may have been wrong and possibly ease up on him.
or I can double down on it. I don't know what Aggro-Sawneeks looks like but I could try and channel my inner Hulk or something.
Thing is, I don't think I usually tunnel in on people?? But at the same time the back down might be too abrupt, it's what got Splinter caught in PiR when he suddenly stopped tunneling on WAMD out of the blue. Although he had been tunneling for like 3 Day phases...

I haven't been following the Verelios thing but maybe try to wrap it up and go elsewhere? Scum Splinter did some good tunneling because he didn't back down, which is what I might expect town to do. See: Kark.

Hmm, it'd make sense to assume other PRs will be protecting/checking on Sophia tonight, so we might have a clear coast to target Gorlak. Barry is also a decent choice; he was contributing plenty at the end of the day so we could kill 2 birds with one stone and give town few leads, and it would stop him from potentially becoming a town lead. I'm fine with pretty much anyone really.
Waiting for Roy's and Blarg's input. We're using my Ninja shots, right? A case could be made for using the strongman shots too since at this point in the game we have many PR unknowns.

alright, so good work on Charizard Bronx ppl, he could've been a hell of a rally-point and NK-waster for them  Now then; let's start with a little Role speculation appetizer: Considering our power level, I fully 100% expect there to be a: Town Doctor(s) (if we have a Strongman, there has to be a Doctor or 2, probably x-shot if there's 2 of them; likely it's/they're Chansey of the Pokecentre variety, flavour-wise) Town Tracker (offsets our Ninja-skill; Tracker's likely a dog, sniffs and tracks, or a bird, bird's-eye-view, that kind of thing. Case-in-point; I believe this is what Gorlak was alluding to, when he asked Sophia that dog question. I think Gorlak is a/the Tracker) Town Investigator (flavour-wise, likely a Psychic-type, Mind Read, etc.; anyone notice any Psychic-type breadcrumbs? Maybe of the spoon-type, Alakazam-variety?) Town Vigilante and/or Neutral Serial Killer (since I'm of the Vengeful retaliatory Day-killing type, it makes sense to me that there must be a Town- or Neutral-aligned Night-killer to act as a counter against me via preemptively taking me out. No clue who it could possibly be at this point...) Town Roleblocker (like the pressure shift of an imminent storm I feel it in my fucking bones that fuckin' singing Jigglypuff who puts ppl to sleep with its singing then draws on their face with marker is absolutely in this damn game, I wasn't joking when I said it in the game-thread it's too good of a character to not include in a Pokemon-themed [Mafia]; it's gotta be a Roleblocker if so) thinking more to come |

Hmm, it'd make sense to assume other PRs will be protecting/checking on Sophia tonight, so we might have a clear coast to target Gorlak. I doubt he will be protected or watched tonight, and I think when he gets in the swing of things he will be a powerful player that will be hard to target for mislynches. Rather get rid of him right now to pre-emt that. I would rather keep my strongman shots so that those can be used to for sure kill an outed pr if needed. About power roles: we know that town has -a double voter -a celebrity. -AT LEAST two trainers that can remove some of you from this chat (i strongly suspect one of the two is a neutral, but that doesn't really matter for him still being able to fuck us over) -A doctor, kill immune or blocker (speculation based on my power) -a watcher or tracker (speculation based on fire's power). Thats a decent number of powers already. I could see someone having one more useful power like a limited cop (since we have an infinite blocker), but more then that is unlikely to me. |

Blarg makes a good point about there being a role that can kill during the night to counter his power. If we take that into account, we have 7 powers working against us. Based on our power level, I could see 1 more power existing, but more then that becomes dicey from a balance perspective.

(I think Chansey can't be a Doctor because it's Normal-type and thus Ordinary?)
If the kill choice is between Barry and Gorlak I pick Gorlak. I've played with him and he seems more subdued this time, which may be a sign of having a PR. I don't know Barry's style, though.

Like LP said, when he did his last-minute vote in a previous game it got someone to Track him so we probably should have Roy stay low for a bit. Although there is an argument for having Blarg do all the kills now. Therefore after he dies and the player pool is presumably way smaller we get Fireblend to use the Ninja then when the chance of a Tracker/Watcher hitting one of us goes way up. But I'm also fine for having the Ninja be used now so we can save Blarg's ability for later. Might just keep my super 'he's scummy af' stance on him but focus on other's to 'keep them out of my blindspot' :p |

Personally I am not the biggest fan to pick kill targets based on who we suspect have a PR at this fase. Rather I would kill people based on trying to have as few trusted people in the game as possible, and my gut tells me Barry will be more trusted then gorlak. Also, I think it will be smart to have at least one strongman shot in reserve for end game. It gives us the freedom to be pretty obvious scum if that push would get us within one kill of victory, considering my kill would guaranteed to be successful. |

I don't think saving my ninja shots for later and having Blarg do the NKs would be wise. We don't know how likely it is that any of us will make it through the night so we better make liberal use of those commands while we can.
I'm ok with killing either Barry or Gorlak, I think Sophia will be the PR lightning road tonight so either should be relatively safe.

Barry would be my pick.
It's been a very long time since I have played with either of them so I don't readily remember how they play when they are Town but so far I'm noticing more people Scum/Null read Gorlak and are simply waiting to see what Barry will do. His flip would give nothing and wouldn't really distract from Day 2's proceedings.
We could always RB Gorlak

First things first: This has been explained in the role PM's of Klang, Caterpie and Tauros, but I'll spell it out here: Those three members of scum team CAN be caught by a Pokémon trainer. If this happens, they will also lose their posting rights in this Scum Chat. They will be still able to read this chat though. However, if Jessie and James both die, then the posting rights of Klang, Caterpie and Tauros will be returned to this thread. Klang, Tauros and Caterpie won't be given safe names for usage. I'll submit the NK in ~4 hours. I'm set on Barry unless someone has a strong objection or wants to make a case for someone else. I think it's a good choice though.
