Welcome to the Team Rocket Chat.
First things first: This has been explained in the role PM's of Klang, Caterpie and Tauros, but I'll spell it out here: Those three members of scum team CAN be caught by a Pokémon trainer. If this happens, they will also lose their posting rights in this Scum Chat. They will be still able to read this chat though. However, if Jessie and James both die, then the posting rights of Klang, Caterpie and Tauros will be returned to this thread.
Klang, Tauros and Caterpie won't be given safe names for usage. However, Jessie and James can use any of these (Normal-type Pokémon are treated as ordinaries, as in example ordinary PM): Normal type Pokémon Aipom (#190) Normal type Pokémon Snorlax (#143) Grass type Pokémon Snivy (#495) Ground type Pokémon Diglett (#050)
If you have any questions, ask me here.

Aaaand what was that about you and I being on the same Team and lynching Fireblend meant ultimate victory?
You know that situation in CIV V where you have out teched your opponent so much that you have like 20 nukes ready to go and they still use musketman and have no air? It's something like that.
Anyway: I am Jessie. I have a 2 shot strongman kill that has no fun explanation and the command is just strongman: name, because burb has no imagination. Booooo! Interestingly, it says that this kill is guaranteed to kill my target, meaning it will go through all instances of protection and role blocking. Also, it rules out commuters and target immune players, since even a strongman kill would miss those players.
Also, I find it interesting all of our (in this case, me and fire) fake names are pokemons. This makes me assume a trainer will have no way to know if his attempt at catching a Pokemon was successful or not, else those fake names would become traps since we would claim to be a pokemon while the trainer knows we aren't since he failed to catch us.
Also also, I am willing to put money on the fact the trainers are Ash and Gary with Gary being the neutral.
I'm indisputable-best-anime-character James, with a 2-shot Ninja power. My kills are untraceable, because Koffing creates a smoke curtain that prevents anyone from spotting me (that's my flavor, not Burb's. Boooo)
No I think catching you would just fail since you're a human. It would be like a cop checking you and getting a null/guilty result.
If this is the case it would be kinda weird we only got pokemon fake names and no human ones, since if we get called out on not being a pokemon, we would have no fake names to use. I guess I could see the trainers being a sort of semi cop this way (like how sawneeks was a semi cop in HP, even though that was unintentional).
Roy was complaining that I didn't come in and give my usual spiel about post counts and such. So:
1. Posts in this thread will not increase your post count. If you notice otherwise, contact me immediately, but I've double and triple checked the setting, so you should be fine. 2. Posts in this thread can only be searched by people who already have access to this thread. 3. You are as safe and secure as I can make you.
There, now. DaddyMG has made you all safe, and the only scary monsters are the Pokemon in here.

Any ideas about which pokemon i should pick as my fake claim? I tend to like having a fake claim ready to go as early as possible, in case of emergency.
Since I am a strongman, If i get spotted it most likely will be me visiting the person that got killed. Which is pretty bad. Should I just pick one of the normal pokemons and try and bluff my way through it? Or does someone have a good idea for a fake role?
I was going to say that would probably get you lynched since everyone would be like 'wtf is going on let's lynch him and see what's up'
but then I remembered you are Vengeful and that would actually make sense
1. you'd get lynched
2. this would only really work early on?? suddenly coming out on like Day 4 with a status affect when no one else has had that happen to them would look suspicious as hell. probs even enough to stave off a lynch.
gambit rating is high. success rate decreases as time goes on.
Seeing as Blarg, LP, and I can all lose posting rights to this thread during any Night phase we need to be aware and ready for that. Seeing as we can still read this thread ( and not post in it ) we can still collaborate on kills/PRs by having those who can still post here say things like 'Blarg can you do the NK' or 'Saw can you roleblock Kawl'. We won't be able to voice our own opinion of what to do but we can still do night actions as a team.
IF you do get 'caught' and forced into a group with someone else ( I'm guessing it's like a mason chat type deal? ) I'd highly recommend not hinting at it AT ALL in the main thread. In Price is Right I was just in a similar scenario of being placed in a private chat with someone else without knowing their alignment and I scrutinized every little thing he posted. Since it's probably going to be the same thing here it's usually better to play along with them then to try and get the attention of your scum team. Getting a Townie to help you out goes a long way, something Kyan did very well. >.>;
Can we NK Verelios first? I won't stand for such disrespect towards Typhlosion.
+1 on Blarg doing the normal NK by the way. Seeing as his role works best when he gets lynched having him do the NK means if he gets caught by a Watcher/Tracker it would actually work in our favor as opposed to LP or I performing the kill instead.
