I've been looking over your posts to see the extent to which I can trust you (as well as to glean why you were Darryl's choice).
I feel like if you reveal that you were caught in the thread, it would easily be linked back to me/us. I think I've put my neck out there almost riskily so that I'm a trainer. What are your reasons for saying that you were caught at this point in the game?
What do you know? It's hard to believe given my role name, but I am town. If anyone were scum, it would be Trump. I expressed in the thread how messy it would be if I, a town trainer, caught a scum Pokemon (which I don't believe in your case) and entered them into a mason chat but let's see how it goes!

My PM doesn't make sense if you're scum. I asked Burb and while he did not explicitly say that you were town, he pointed at parts of my PM that don't work if you're scum (and thus would be highly misleading). I assume you also know that I cannot use my power while I'm captured, which means (assuming you're town) Darryl probably chose me, thinking I'm an ordinary town pokemon. Since I wasn't sure though, I brought up LP to see if me telling you that his inactivity was a problem would maybe lead to a change in behavior, which did not happen. As for the PM I got upon being caught, it mentions a secondary alignment and a superior win condition that requires my ordinary win condition to be true, which is why I'm leaning towards you being town, despite your name. Either that, or Burb really screwed up with the PM.
What I don't know is your actual role or how catching pokemon works. Gaga's PM implies certain conditions.
I don't think anyone knows you're a trainer, but the inactivity could be your doom, if they really lynched Barrylocke for that. My revelation that I was caught would be mostly to get reactions from players, end speculation and maybe kickstart the players to be more active again, as I feel like we're slowly heading to another unfortunate end of day. Town must be active, as otherwise scum can just hide. I'm sceptical of Sophia because of how quickly she switched sides, but she's (probably) a pokemon due to her ability and very active. The latter of course could be cover, see e.g. Sorian in Batman Mafia. Posting a lot is a good way to make people forget about the stupid stuff you say, see Trump.

Yeah, it also says that the powers of caught Pokemon will be disabled in Burb's first post in this thread.
I'm a trainer, which I guess is this game's version of a mason (I didn't know that the mason role was a thing prior to it being discussed in the game). Catching is a night action that leads to the disabling of Pokemon PRs, counts toward the second win condition, and brings the caught Pokemon here to the chat.
"A change in behavior" in me? I've always been a low-activity player, primarily because of the time zone. I can't really have back-and-forths. I'm sorry I didn't call out LP; I didn't have time to dissect his posts.
With five hours to lynch it might be a good idea to say you were caught. If I'm on the chopping block, which I don't seem to be, I can out myself as a trainer, especially if you go through with it.

Nah, in LP. My thought was that if both of you were scum, me telling you about how his inactivity bothers me would lead to you telling him about it (in scum chat) and thus maybe to different behavior.
If you don't mind, then I'll reveal that I got caught. I don't think you'll be on the chopping block. I might mention later that lynching inactive players failed us on D1.

Should anyone question you later, in case I get lynched/NKed, I deliberately used the term 'God' in my return-from-mountaintop post (originally I wanted to say Goddamn, it's hard or something like that) and that is also why I asked about Darryl in the game, knowing full well that he was replaced by you, but using my history of not paying attention as a cover.

I forgot to put a vote down due to irl stuff. If I get killed, I think you should see if there is an overlap between D1/D2 of "active, but not really controversial or aggressive" players. There are some players that just post wall of text after wall of text. The Trump strategy. Post enough and at some point people forget what you said.

I'm very suspicious of Sophia. She has asked me weird questions, e.g. on D1 something along the lines of whether my death would bring us information (which felt like she was fishing for information) and on D2 about whether I thought I would get NK'ed. Just...odd. I don't know, but for someone with so many posts, she's not really leading us anywhere.
Then again, same could be said for Blarg.
