Problem about not claiming is if either of us is NK, there's no way to verify that we were caught by Ty4on.

If scum did use a 1-shot last night, it seems that they are worried about the other trainers do when they catch Pokémon.

Does coming forward now help town in anyway? Neither of us can prove the other is town.

Why are you so afraid of getting lynched? So far your responses here have revolved around anything to keep you out of a negative spotlight and to keep you out of getting a lot of heat. Why?

You seem to also believe that Scum can somehow also be placed into a chat, despite having no evidence to support that. Where are you getting that from? Do you believe that the Scum Team are Pokemon and can be caught?

Follow up question before I get to yours, why do you sound so intent on not claiming? What does not claiming do to help Town?

Tell me the advantages of claiming right now rather than waiting a few more days.

3 pseudo-cops in one game would go beyond Harry Potter Mafia levels of ridiculousness. You were in that game, you remember how I used my Item power to Cop-check Hyper and get him lynched in the last minute. It was an unintended side-effect to be sure, but it was still a powerful ability and it got Scum lynched. Since you are unsure of what to think of the alignment of the other Trainers, then I take it you don't believe there could be a Scum Trainer? That would slim down your pseudo-cop suggestion to 2 instead of 3 since a Scum Trainer wouldn't hit one of their own, but even then having 2 of those would be incredibly overpowered as well. Not to mention we don't know if we have a regular Cop in the game at all, possibly bumping the number back up to 3 Cops. This is assuming that Trainers can only catch people who are Town-aligned, meaning that whatever the Scum Team is ( 4 or 5 people? minus the Scum Trainer? ) would get hit pretty fast with 2-3 Cops making the rounds each Night.

No, if there is a Scum Trainer here then it's possible that Scum might have Pokemon PRs as well, meaning they can get caught, in order to balance it all out. That would mean the Trainers are still pseudo-cops but only towards themselves and the other 2 Trainers but it would be balanced out by having some of the Scum Team be able to be caught and not be Cop-checked that way. So part of the Team could get caught, the other part would be fine. It ignores the problem HP had without completely negating the Trainer mechanic. Although, thinking about it, I don't think the Scum Trainer recruits players to the Scum Team because Topo flipped Town and Gaga being Scum and getting killed N1 like that is still hard for me to wrap my mind around. So if TheG is the Scum Trainer then that doesn't directly indicate Star as Scum unless Star was lying about being caught??

You argue that we are 'confirmed town' with your theory yet in your next point say that we can't prove our alignment at all. If that's the case, why do you use that to prove your point in that we should 'lie low' if we can't even confirm it??

I can't argue with the NK target bit. With Topo being NKed it looks like caught players are being targeted and if we came forward we would be put onto the firing line with a giant target on our backs.

I agree with you on Star. She isn't my main concern right now but I will be watching her in the coming Days.

Top Scum
TheG for both mechanic reasons of the already-described Scum Trainer and I personally Scum read him outside of that. Darryl was an unknown to me on Day 1 as I was conflicted on his actions but I did not like how TheG acted on Day 2 with his vote, explanations, and overall actions. His 'weak' vote I called him out on during this Day phase was apparently a mistake ( that Star explained ) but I still want his responses to everything that has happened so far.

Mafia Team....I would guess a mix. We have far too many coasting players right now and I wouldn't be surprised if Scum was hiding there since it's a rather large pool and from what I've seen it's a very easy thing for quiet Scum players to do and get away with it. Yet at the same time I doubt all of the Scum Team is there and since my reads have been way off ( again ;______; ) there has to be a few of the more experienced players in the middle-to-high post count that are blending very well and keeping the attention away from the quiet players.

I said it in the main thread but I Town lean on Splinter. He seems more...relaxed this game? I don't know, it's the best way I can put it but he seems rather indifferent at times and that's almost the opposite of how he played last game. It's possible he is Scum and I'm just misreading him yet again but I personally don't see it, at least I haven't noticed anything overtly Scummy. Was there something that stood out to you that he did?

And I agree with that last bit. Having 3 Town flips like that hurt and it completely destroyed some of my reads and from going over the main thread it looks like there are a couple people that share that sentiment. We're all uncertain what to do and I think it's showing. It doesn't help that a couple people were busy this weekend and discussion just slowed to a halt as we wait for TheG and just focused on only one player.
