Yeah... at least I read one person right. Hm, without the help of a PR town won't manage to pull this around. Fire and LP naturally have a lowish activity, which is nevertheless high enough to survive till endgame often. Blarg is Blarg and Sawneeks has town in her bag. The only one I could see was Roy.
Sorry Soph. Sorry Splinter.
Has anyone spectating seen scumtells from Team Rocket? Not your fault, I was playing stupidly aggressive.

I'm still kicking myself for gut reading two of the scum team, but promptly dismissing it.

Has anyone spectating seen scumtells from Team Rocket? There's one big town tell after this many mislynches. Despair. I have no idea who to vote for. I'm at a complete loss. All my reads were off the mark. I need to reread the thread and calm down. ------------------------------------ I remember disagreeing when I read this at first, but I think Unmasked Ferret might've been onto something here. ****Responding to Lone_Prodigy**** That's what I'm saying though, your only contributions up to that point were pointing out obvious ways people (mostly me) stand out, hence asking if anything else had caught your eye. I'm not saying you created a narrative, I'm saying that you're making really shallow obvious observations and then patting yourself on the back for it because you brought something up that no one else was talking about. There's some debate about Blarg tells earlier in this thread.

Sorry Ty4on, Team Gabe didn't stand a chance.
So Ty4on why did you pick me to be on your team N1? I figured my slip on D1 outed me as a Pokemon but given I was looking very shifty it was a big risk as I probably wouldn't have lasted long.

Oh dear... What is this Splinter? A gambit?
He's the vig, trying to lure out scum, right?

Weird scum chat is so inactive. While a town win is unlikely, they can still take a bite at scum with people suspecting Blarg and Saw.

Scum's roles (especially ninja and strongkill) also hint quite strongly at there being more town roles remaning unless they're not countering anything. Strongman could also be made to kill the neutral who presumably is bulletproof.

Melon is sorry? :(
Was she protecting me, and I only died because of the strongman? :/

The dispair in the town is thick. I'm surprised Nins finally waking up and tsking action now. To the point of being a town leader for the day.
It really is amusing that everyone has acknowledged blargs uselessness but he's still soldiering on.

Splinter's gambit got exactly the result he wanted, but it was Blarg so everyone ignored it...

Is there a reason why Salva is being utterly crap right now?

Post by Barrylocke on Sept 30, 2016 5:28:51 GMT -8
Splinter suggests that salva just plays blegh in general when he's town. The only other game in recent time I've played with Salva was Bar mafia where he was town...and unhelpful. So maybe there's something to that?

Why do they keep thinking there's a vigilante?
"It makes it very hard for us to read much of anything from player flips since we're not really sure why certain players are being picked off."
I mean. Come on! That's the hallmark of a serial killer, not a vig. : \

It really is strange that a serial killer type role isn't even given much consideration.
Sawneeks is my game mvp candidate. She has been nailing the being involved and appearing helpful thing from day 1. I almost think that her seperation from the rest of the mafia has only helped her with that.

Wonder if *Splinter is the serial killer. Being ascetic would explain the lack of result there, and bulletproof is common on SK's too. Or he could just be lying again and be a commuter or something

Or he could just be lying again and be a commuter or something Hmm, I haven't given that much thought. One curious thing is he brought up the second kill a lot for a serial killer and that's a lot of counters for the poor tracker. Dunno who else it could be. Maybe Ynnek, but just because I don't think much about him.
Verelios seems to speak as if he's part of a team. Maybe just more aware of the flips.

Today might either begin the downfall of scum, or solidify their victory. It really all might depend on this one lynch.

It's very possible, that 3 players are removed during N4, none of them scum.
If that happens, it's going to be 6 vs 5 when D5 begins. Town is going to have very rough time to get to victory.

Wow, they seriously did it... Salva played his last three games exactly the same and was mislynched twice for it (in bar he was killed) Let's have a look at the reasoning this time: Dusk: ... Fire: Don't like that people defend him. Verelios: Lynch inactives Sawneeks: Vote record, people defending him. Nin: ... Starsketch: ... UnmaskedFerret: Do we still have a tie? Blarg: CAPSLOCK Wow. That's why we deserve to lose this game. What's up with this game? Town (me included of course) has been struggling from the get go and never caught onto anything... Of course we have three low activity scum players LP, Fire and Roy ~ hard to filter out in between the other low activity players ~ but Blarg is all over the place. He truly got his meta right, he can do what he wants. Sawneeks is MVP, false town leader. Let me rephrase it: at which point in the game should we have done something different? Where could town begin to hunt scum? What is the problem here and how could one resolve it?

Town is not making any effort right now. Royal, Goddamn and now Salva were all lynched in a sense of apathy and dis-interest from town. It's basically the perfect playground for scum, they can do anything right now.

It's pretty telling that the biggest obstacle for scum win right now is scum doing wrong night actions.
