There is a reason why no one claimed PR when it made the most sense to do so. This has happened several times throughout the game. We already had our PR in Gorlak, if I'm understanding Hyper correctly. It also explains why Time and later LP had such conveniently timed claims. They were both waiting for that person to claim....which of course wouldn't happen.

I am not saying Gorlak is necessarily the ONLY PR I am saying that Gorlak IS a PR who, because of him being revealed, I can use as an example. I am not saying that Gorlak might not be the only PR town has,

Why not go for Splinter, he's essentially coasting this endgame and doesn't give a fuck?! Maybe because he's scum?!
Ah, lynching Salva was a mistake. I blame Hyper, he influenced the game massively by not showing Splinter's vote on melon yesterday.
What's the current opinion? Lynch Fireblend already? Splinter? Melon? The absent Steve?

Splinter, yesterday you rated the likelyhood of us unconfirmed townies being scum as follows: Melon >> Salva >>>> Fire > Steve >...> Splinter My Fire read is probably the weakest, he's been off my radar for too much of this game. Yesterday he seemed to be picking up town reads off the back of Ouro's gambit. Personally I didn't see it but I will go back through that to see if I missed something. Also forgot to mention it but I'll be busier than usual today. I'll try to get to Fire/Steve but no promises. After that you sort of were absent for a bit, and eventually posted this (about me/Steve): Between Fire and Steve, the unconfirmeds suspect Fire the most, but the confirmeds quite strongly disagree. Kind of interesting, but without a scum "team" to find it doesn't really tell me anything. I'll be looking at both regardless. I'm not going to waste time fretting between Salva and melon. I can't see us not lynching either of them, and I'm about 95% certain that one or the other will flip scum. So, no big change of heart there. Ouro eventually posted a proposed lynch order: Salva -> Melon -> Steve, which most of us agreed with and things were headed in that direction, until Salva and L_P managed to tie the vote with me. Per your original list, you seem to think the lynches with better odds of hitting scum would be Melon, Salva and me instead, so why did you have so much of an issue with me getting lynched yesterday? LP... This is pretty much our only chance of losing If Steve is scum you're throwing the game here Why worry? Why the sudden change of heart in this post? When did I get ahead of Steve in your reads? None of your posts seem to reflect this up until right before the end of the day when you should be happy that 2 out of your 3 top suspects were in the run for lynch of the day. Although I had you Steve as more trusted than you at that point, it was nowhere near a sure thing (indicated by the chevrons), it's basically as I described here: Actually, going back to gorlak's post for a second, I think it's kind of interesting that both melon and Steve list Fire as their top suspect. Now it's too late to make a difference for melon, but if Steve were scum it would be a smart play to try and get Fire lynched first. If he managed that, both melon and Salva would be comparatively easy lynches, and he'd be in with a good chance at winning. If we lynched Salva and melon first then lylo would be pretty much Steve v Fire and that's a much more dangerous situation for him. So for now I'm putting Steve before Fire in my lynch order. Still doubt we will get that far but I am now firmly against lynching Fire today. I guess by similar logic I'd be wary about lynching Steve today, but at least Fire hasn't been pushing for that. We might have lynched you/Steve yesterday based on very little (and we almost did), whereas if we lynched melon and Salva first and STILL hadn't found scum then we'd give that last decision the proper attention. Also I did have Steve as more suspicion than you ever since this post.

They were both waiting for that person to claim....which of course wouldn't happen. The only way LP isn't town is if there's another unclaimed PR between you, Steve and Fire. So unless you're going to counter claim him I'd drop this. And yes Gorlak is a PR, but we have 2.

As I said earlier I'll be voting for melon today, but in the meantime I'm going to start going through Fire and Steve's posts.
Here are my purely-from-memory reads on each:
Steve Started with light gambits and was generally read as "weird" on day 1. Personally I leaned slightly more town on him at this point. Somewhere around day 2 he started picking up town reads, and ever since then he's been coasting hardcore. He slipped off my radar completely for a while, but now that I think about it I think he got overconfident and dropped activity significantly. I felt he was competing for town leader in the early game and nowhere near that by day 3. The only thing I do remember from him yesterday is his (I feel somewhat opportunistic) read of Fire as top scum. In my opinion this would be the optimal scum play, but even putting that aside I don't feel he made enough effort to save Salva (or melon) yesterday despite apparently disagreeing with the generally proposed lynch order.
Fireblend Started coasty, I don't remember much from Fire until Ouro's vig gambit, which I think was the first time people started town reading him (I didn't really see it myself but then I was a little distracted by Ouro...). In direct contrast to Steve, however, Fire has really picked up in the last day or so.
In fact, that's really the thing separating these two players for me. Steve started out very visibly contributing to the thread, but as slipped into coasting as people townread him. Fire has done exactly the opposite, started off slightly coasting (which isn't hugely unusual for him) but really picked up as we get into late game. You could argue that this was in response to suspicion on him, and maybe you'd be right but I don't really see it that way. I don't think he was under that much fire (despite the suddenly close race yesterday).
So for now, I'm firmly leaning Steve over Fire for the last scum. I'm going to work my way through the thread to see if there's anything I forgot or that might change this.

Splinter, I'll skip quoting your reply to my post because that's a long quote and I don't want to look spammy and I really don't have much to say about it - you do have that "change of heart" covered. I'd still be happy to see if anyone else can pick that up and take it somewhere, Splinter is after all just as unconfirmed as Melon, Steve and myself. At least he's been playing well enough that I wouldn't be as mad about him winning, unlike say Steve As I said earlier I'll be voting for melon today, but in the meantime I'm going to start going through Fire and Steve's posts. I'm going to work my way through the thread to see if there's anything I forgot or that might change this. Something that bugs me about Steve is how his activity has really slowed down. I started empathizing with his strategy; I was excited about his "let's try to figure this out using behavioral cues" thing he's mentioned several times, and I thought we'd get something of value out of it but if anything that's a strategy that would lead to being more active as the game progresses and more interactions are to be found. Focusing on other players at the beginning of the game is IMO something that justifies you being inactive for a bit, but it's inexcusable to not pick up in activity later - it's something I've done many times which you (Splinter) mention in the above post. Instead he's stuck to one or two things he found on D1 and not revised his reads or focus for the better part of 3 days now. Seems to be like the antithesis of what he proclaimed his strategy was at first. It's funny how he posted this yesterday: Because its fun to be the center of attention. You should know this by now, Mr. Vigilante. Speaking of... hi guys. And yet he's easily the player that's been coasting the most for the last couple of days. Steve, any thoughts on my post from last page? You seem to have skipped over it.

Steve why did you never peek? Catching up this morning, but the answer is what I said on d2 when asked. Nobody explained the strategy of it or what it meant to me. By the time someone did, I didn't see the point since it was an obviously fake claim. No matter how often you repeat this, it's simply not true. Within the first two pages peeking is explained by different people. You can, that would make my case against you easier. As far as I understood peeking is everyone fake claiming cop targets until the real cop flips? So I can't even be part of it as well? You sure just want to anger me, eh? I'm not sure that I get it. You're saying peeking is everyone fake claiming cop, so that the real cop can get out his/her results, and then we'll know once they die? Haven't heard of this before. We all claim to have peek someone the night before as does the cop and then if/when cop dies they'll be breadcrumbs for town to follow to scum. It was a mess last Mini Mafia. Cop was NK'd on N1. So we never did it.I guess it is a Mini Mafia tradition now. Afterwards Timeaisis has a discussion about how useless peeking is describing it with some examples of "how to". You never asked "what is peeking" on D1 even though you were present when everyone said "okay, let's do the peeking". You even voted melon because of peeking results. You may have misunderstood the concept, but you never bothered to ask for an explanation until the peeking results came in. Speaking of... you even claimed to have asked for an explanation late D2: Also as for why I haven't posted a peek, because it's pretty fucking obvious I had no idea what that strategy was for at this point. I asked during D1 what peaking even meant and nobody told me. I even was confused at what peeking referred to and what the logic behind it was this phase (look at my convo with MelonRabbit). Yes, I could tell you "I peaked at timeaisis and he was town" but what good would it do when it's pretty fucking obvious I didn't understand the point of the strategy to begin with. Sorry bub. The truth is, you never did.
