Okay I've never been scum before, how the hell do I do this?
My role is Skulker, a strongman with a 2-shot unblockable NK.

Situational means it will never ever happen in my gafia experience

Hehe, first time as scum for me as well I am Vlad Masters/Vlad Plasmius (AKA, Godfather). I will come up as human if investigated and have a one shot bulletproof. I just asked Terra if I'm notified when someone hits me.

Great that we have a two shot strongman. I was looking over the player list and terrified that we'd be unable to NK the strong townies. Should be worth waiting for someone to claim first as that will inevitably happen in a GAFia game.
Ok so two shot strongman who's unlockable Roleblocker Hammerer (with some extra day kill ability or not?) Godfather with one shot bulletproof
Deducing from our roles there seems like there's some sort of protector and a roleblocker for town. My role obviously hints at a cop, but also a vigilante or a neutral serial killer.
So: Doctor(ish) Roleblocker Cop Vigilante/Serial killer

I think I'm going to play like I did in GAFia 2 with a lot of questions thrown at people. Corn scares me because he can see through the bullshit most of the time. I think I'll also have to clash with him eventually, but I won't force it.
In general it should be a good idea to be reasonable and somewhat agreeable. Town tends to look the other way.
Don't go looking up mafia members, but also don't ignore us. I think Crimson especially might try to look at how scum players interact should one of us die. Zero interactions is a big red flag.

Agreed, not a whole lot town can do D1 but this is where Mafia really gets a foothold. I'm going to play more reserved this time around

I've had a pretty successful run of never getting lynched, so I'm going to stick to my usual habits. This generally means playing pretty low key and questioning things that don't make sense. I won't be the first person to come out and accuse people, because that's just not my style.
I feel like some ridiculous gambit is far more likely to blow up in our face than actually work, but if one of you wanted to find some reason to come after me and toss a few votes my way on Day 1 that could set up some animosity there for the eventual flips? I don't have any power so I guess we can be most risky with my life. Maybe we wait till a later day for that.
We should probably have fake roles figured out before the game starts. Let's us play as if we're that role and maybe even breadcrumb a little bit based on the names we got. Obviously some of us can just claim ordinary town, but we've got those names so we might as well use them.

I've played a pretty high number of games now, with a number of the veteran players on this player list, so they very likely now my MO this point. So I should probably stick pretty close to how I normally play, which involves somewhat light (but not nonexistent activity) usually and increased activity when I've found a case I'm interested in pursuing. Generally I'm not afraid to call someone scum directly when I see something that bugs me, and push really hard for it. Luckily for us (and perhaps unluckily for town) I'm not always right!
I've never been lynched before either so I'm pretty good at coasting, which may come in handy? There are some players who have been pretty suspicious of that in the past, like Crimson, so without any info from the game itself I'd say he might be a good choice to take out if we're ever not sure who to go for.
It's been a long time since I've seen Danny Phantom, so I'll need to look into the fake claims and try to make one that makes sense, but I definitely agree that we should get that out of the way.

So my day kill ability is that i can instantly lynch someone if they are 1 vote away from turbo I believe...which forces them to be lynched on that day. However I cannot vote on that person in order for my day kill to work.
Although I do have a question, what happens if someone unvotes during the time I sent a PM to you terra? would that still count or does that not count?

Nice, that's quite powerful. That sounds like something you probably need to just keep in your pocket till late in the game. If you use it early people will get super suspicious. And it has the possibility to win us the game straight up if we make it down to a low player count scenario.

To answer some questions: Ty4on, you will be notified that your bulletproof has run out.
Matt, if you use the strong kill, the scum team can not use the regular faction kill.
Gryvan, if the timestamp on your pm is before the timestamp of the UNVOTE, I will ignore the unvote. If you have discord, you can DM me there and I will know right away, as I have push notifications set on my phone.

Tagging so I get notifications from this thread. TWE, no quoting your PM this time gryvan, always roles scum, first princesses, then batman, then this, what a run! Then first time scums, exciting!

Possible fake claim for Maddie Fenton, Danny Phantom's mom. In the case of an anonymous vote due to Danny's lynch, her vote counts as double for that vote only. This is because she is particularly affected by his lynch as his mother. Thoughts? It ties into that mechanic which I feel makes it a little better than claiming it as ordinary. It would be annoying if there's already a role like that though.

That sounds like a decent idea and I like the flavor. I guess it depends on how the anonymous vote works? If it is anonymous during voting, but it shows who voted what at the end obviously we couldn't go that way.

Yeah, it really does depend on how it works. Worth keeping in mind at least.

Wiki-ing some of our other fake names:
Dani Phantom, who is like a female clone of Danny, could claim as a backup Danny who activates when he dies? Obviously we don't know what the gained power would be, so that would require some creativity. But the only person who would know we were lying sure would be actual Danny, who it seems like it'd be good to draw out?
Mr Lancer is their teacher who is hard on the kids but clearly cares for them. Role blocker who puts players in detention? Tracker because of hall monitors? Obviously want to generally avoid claiming powers where town can just go "okay, prove it", so those might be tough. Maybe bulletproof?

On further thought, we probably wouldn't want to use multiple things centered on Danny, because one role being so central to a game seems unlikely. Even if said role is the name of the game.

I'm liking these fake aliases...the larger role should have the best fake though.

Mr Lancer as roleblocker is exactly what I was thinking, would probably be a decent cover for TWE.

I think Ordinary is a good fit for Dani Phantom actually, because she's a just clone with a similar name. You open your role PM, get excited, then get disappointed. Close, but no cigar.

I think claiming roleblocker should be last minute resort. Our strongman being block proof makes it sound like town has a blocker.
