I think it would be ideal for Blawl to do both roleplay and 'unlimited tracker miller Best Friends'. Unfortunately, in the past two games I've played, I've made a point to basically lynch millers on sight, so I'm going to have to be the skeptical against, otherwise someone might wonder why this is the one time I'm not anti-miller.
I see Kawl's point about not throwing a roleblocker into the Night 1 pile up, so what if instead Coppa and I got blocked. This might prevent our kill, but then we'd have a great Day 2 with either no kill, or we'd know for sure that there's a neutral a foot. This is really only to get the Role Block PM, but I think it might be useful, and to maximize that plus the Miller plan when you two end up not dead on Day 2 and there's a kill missing. It might be a little obvious, but I don't know, maybe it'd work, certainly buy Blawl some town credit for awhile.
The game starts Monday, right? I could be on around Noon EST to 4 going for the millers.

So we basically have to use our role night one now, to provide proof we are a tracker like we say. So I say we save the self inflicted role block for night 2 if we survive day 1. I think giving up the first kill might be a little unnecessary.
Blocking us N2 gives us an additional use of our x shot power. When we came out on D3 saying we were role blocked we would be able to confirm on wording of the PM with whoever yall blocked N1 in that case.

And game starts Sunday, the 14th from the timer down below.

So then you're suggesting no roleblock night 1? You two track someone, Coppa and I do the kill, and we hide the roleblock until Day 3. Wouldn't town find it odd how no one came forward with being blocked on night 1 and then all of a sudden the super crazy miller tracker got blocked night 2?

No I'm saying we Role Block randomly on N1 or any one who seems PR ish. Then hopefully they will keep the flavor text to themselves in an attempt to verify the next person role blocked, who would be me and Blarg.
Sell it as Mafia probably not wanting to get in on the mess of roles on use N1, but wanting to hamstring our tracking ability on the next night where we would probably be less visited.

If we want to role block one of our own to try to gain credence is all I'm saying. I don't think blocking our kill n1 is worth the trade off of getting the role block PM.

That sounds like we have a pretty decent plan then. Good point on how we can hope they keep the text to themselves so we can have you two look even better by the time we get to Day 3.
So Blarg/you will come out with the Team Rocket opening, culminating in a miller unlimited tracker claim based on their Best Friends role name. Coppa/myself/Retroid/Kyanrute will fall on either side of the issue, being careful not to get you all lynched of course. Night 1, kill someone, roleblock someone, use one of the three uses on the watcher. Day 2, have you two verify your tracking ability and the person who was blocked will hopefully keep it to themselves, or at least the wording of it. N2 we block one of our and kill again. D3 you two say you were blocked and use the gist of the PM as evidence, and then we go from there.
Sound about right?

You got it. I agree with blarg that we claim with our actual PM changing it from 3 shot to unlimited and scum to miller.
Any one have any improvements in mind?

If we want to role block one of our own to try to gain credence is all I'm saying. I don't think blocking our kill n1 is worth the trade off of getting the role block PM. Yeah, definitely. I agree we shouldn't squander our first kill. Later on we can debate the merits of the knowledge vs none, but for now I think we'll likely need to eliminate some loose ends. So... we have the general plan outlined. Do we have more personal plans too or are a lot of you guys waiting to see how it unfolds? Also, for activity I would just wait until there seem to be at least 5-6 people other than us posting around the thread if you can. It's not a huge deal (you'll probably want to check-in within the first 24 hours I'd assume), it was just a thought that could help us. I'm all about planning our moves based on how much we can disrupt the normal flow of conversation and take advantage of natural reactions to better suit our goals.

As far as personal plans go, I think we could all each post what we're thinking of doing. I'm personally gonna be loud and proud trying to get Blarg/Kawl lynched but then relent to whoever the leading candidate is and then say that unless they can prove themselves I'm going to try and get them on Day 2. Should turn out fine and will be a safe position I feel, certainly a logical one I'd think.
I haven't looked at the full player list yet, is there anyone we might think could try and dominate the discussion/be town leader?

Do you think it would be bad if partners are disagreeing with each other? Wouldn't it seem odd to Town that a pair couldn't agree even though they share a chat?

Sorry for the lack of content from my side, pretty busy this week with school. Personally, I think having a set in stone plan is a path to disaster. I'll probably just go with the flow, unless others have any opinions. Too much planning could cause holes and potentially connections between us.

Just because you share a chat doesn't mean one will be able to convince the other. Only scum worry about how suspicious their actions make them seem versus wanting their honest opinion out there. Alternatively, a town pair may want to try to present a unified front in order to give their shared opinion more weight. Personally I think it's not suspicious for a pairing to disagree with each other, though I might hold off on multiple of our pairs getting into visible debates until we get a feel for how all the other pairs are going to be utilizing their chats.

We shouldn't be so certain we have the ultimate plan thrown together that we ignore any developments. Outlining a general plan of how you will approach the game in general can give the rest of us a better idea on how to react, what to press you guys on, what to let slide etc etc though. Obviously me and blarg are going in loud and hot, hopefully we dominate discussion for at least day 1, if not also for day 2.

I like to plan at least a general strategy and start of a day at least, then kinda see where that takes me. Right now my plan is to start making people talk, putting down votes and asking questions. When JesseJames comes in, I'll probably react with them some, ask questions to them, then move off anf focus on other people once some more people start questioning them "to my satisfaction". I've liked spreading conversation around some when I've been town lately, so I plan to do that here especially early on.

I agree with this. I don't think it's necessarily bad, people are always going to disagree and just because you have the same information available doesn't mean you're going to come to the same conclusions. One of us could bring up this point on D1, but I plan on moving around separately from you for the most part Flame, but that's more because I want to hide in the open by making everybody talk. There's some study that said people saying something 3 times makes people pre-disposed towards that choice, I want to exploit that by trying to lead multiple people into suggesting their fellow townies are scum. If we can get people to echo that, we can try to use that influence to vote them. Actually, I feel like 2 people sticking very closely together is more scummy. It's like they're planning everything together and just seems too safe in a game about making opinions.

Also as a heads up, if we go with the "Vote on 1 partner's name is a vote for the pair", please PLEASE use the same name for the vote as your partner does (if you go together). I hope we can use the discrepencies in which name partners voted with as them trying to sneak a vote in (especially near the last minute). I don't so much care if flame and I use Karkador while Kyan and Retro use Zipped, but I do think we might be able to abuse that name sneakiness as a contributing factor in our suspicions. After all, if a partner-pair is communicating about the game, wouldn't they be using the same name to refer to partners?

Though if Ouro makes the local version of a parser script that may render this reasoning suspicious (I'd still like to consider it though). Also if he doesn't and it looks like it'll be a huge issue I may write a simple parser myself for us. I'll debate it though, cause it'd be kinda a huge dick move to write that and only give it to scum team (I feel like it'd be bad sportsmanship and give us an unfair meta-advantage), so if I did that I'd probably at the very least give it to burbeting to decide if he wanted to give it out or not. That said, I'm not likely to do that until at least N1, since it's possible that won't be an issue at all to begin with, and I'd rather spend my fun programming time on personal projects.

I just found this and I figured it was highly appropriate for this thread. Shitposting? You're very clearly reading the wrong thread here. This plan is either going to be amazing or fall flat on its face and explode the instant we try. I'm a bit worried it wont pass but Blarg's point about him being investigated immediately is also very true... I can't think of a better less suspicious way for Blarg to avoid it.

Oh hey I just realized something we should consider taking advantage of if the situation ever arises (that I'm not sure GAFia has done yet, if they have feel free to inform me):
If we have a scum member who's likely dead that day phase and has like no chance of surviving, they should hammer themselves if they get a chance. Cut off all town conversation for the day early.
