Afterlife is going to be interesting. Hopefully the island won't find out what's going on, scum is already theorizing about their missing kill ability. I assume the island won't see any flips? Otherwise afterlife doesn't work, right? Will scum be able to have members on both sides and still coordinate?

WTF. Palmer? God damn, I REALLY can't tell who is talking bullshit right now... this ridli crap looked really fishy at the time, but I never thought all of you would go with it. Still debating wether I absolutely distate this measure or if I can at least accept it. fake accounts :/

Hm, about Palmer... I think it's unfair that scum knows about him but nobody else does. They take advantage of his experience, but town doesn't know with whom they have to deal. Yeah, the longer I think about it the more I find it inappropriate. They already can talk, but having a hidden identity in their lines? OP...

The neglect of the replacements should have been a warning but I don't remember anyone being particularly suspicious of ridli.

When we didn't know Palmer was going to be scum, I argued against this because it effectively removes him from the Meta.  He argued back that it's both a pro and a con, because he can't make people trust him as easily.  I think that still applies to a degree, because now he can slip under the radar more easily, but he also probably won't be able to lead people astray.

Overall, though, I helped out with it because I love a good joke, and this game is already so bastard that it's absurd.

I don't think Ridli was questioned because he presented himself as a new player, and new players always get priority over existing players in the replacement list.  Fun fact: The real Ridli is actually a Gaffer, and really is one of my best friends IRL.  He kindly allowed Palmer to steal his identity on here.  (I gave him a link to the main game thread so he could follow if he wants to.)

I still don't really see the problem. There are good and bad points to having a meta, but I think players should be allowed a break from it (as long as we don't have too many in a regular game, that could become a distraction).

And any rule for town has to be the same for scum.
