By 'do something' I mean not just submit a command, it sounds like they had to do extra because if they could just kill people and make them skip the Afterlife every Night that would be insane.

"why? last night i voyuered ty4on, who was blocked. so scum have a roleblock power, which means it likely came off ridli since he seems like the only scum that could've did it. so we need roy to confirm if ridli gave off a roleblock dispensing power." I'm usually of the belief that Roleblock PRs are inherently anti-Town and are only given to Scum as they are generally are the only ones who have a use for it. Townies blocking other Townies doesn't help, but Scum know who is Town and therefore have a better reason to bestow that kind of power. Since our bestow abilities take a Night to kick in this means that it can't be Sorian/Nin who bestowed that power and Ridli didn't flip with that ability, meaning someone from the original 9 did it. " First order of business: I used one of my abilities last night to investigate the "potential" of our dear friend CzarTim. It revealed that he is an "Observant Spirit" although I'm not quite sure what to make of that." Explains the frame ability both Ridli and Blarg had. I'm guessing investigation powers look at their Afterlife PR and not their Island Role, something we speculated as much earlier but it's nice to have more solid evidence that points to it. If someone in here is a scum role blocker, he could have done it directly. Scum seems to have direct abilities. Also, splinter forgot to send me some more info : Last night I sensed a dark ritual. I think that is what killed Kawl, judging from the flavor. I'm of this opinion. If someone bestowed a roleblock, they are town, if not then the roleblock came direct from a scum ghost. Also, dark ritual, maybe that means scum has unlocked killing each night now?

Hey Roy, could you ask Terra what he means by this:
" Tell them that the scum framer is probably still alive up there. If it works the way I think it does, then they are using their own PM as a template."
I have a good feeling I know what he means but I want to see his thoughts on it.

More of a random thought but perhaps the 'Dark Ritual' was supposed to completely obscure Ultron's flip in order to fully kill Kawl? It either means they have a second kill or it explains what happened to Kawl, I doubt it would be both. Killing somone in such a way where they skip the afterlife seems more "dark ritual" to me so I'm on that bus, personally. Bye bye NF and Zatoth Tim is cleared, that's nice. He could have been framed of course, seems like we have plenty of framers running around lol (maybe there's a third!!!) Did Scrafty get a 1-shot detection? She seemed to imply she had powers even before we bestowed anything. So yah, I'm confused about her. I know that Magnum bestowed her and Terra, but they just said in the thread that their powers were different. Unless I've misunderstood, something is off in this scenario.

She did apologize for not mentioning anything about it when she first revealed that she had received them,so I think that she just hasn't used the one I gave her yet.

Thank you for asking my question, Roy! "Come on, the last two scum that flip just so happen to have the same exact role PM, and the only thing you guys think is:'huh, go figure'? Ridli was a dead man walking, and unless he or any other framer can do it while still alive, there is only one other logical explanation." Swamped should remember this role, it was one she and Terra really wanted to use in Gafia GAF Mafia but never got the chance to. :p I'm not inclined to believe Scum have a Forger ( Scum PR who can write up fake Role PMs that will show up on death instead of their target's original Role PM ) because it doesn't really fit the theme of the game. So far every PR has been Afterlife ONLY affects Town while Town can now affect themselves and the Afterlife. Seeing as everyone down there is Ordinary ( Scum and Town ) and they need Bestows from use to do anything, a Forger would have to go Afterlife Bestow -> Scum Ordinary -> Afterlife Target. Not only is that a lot of hoops to jump through AND still hit their target twice in a row, but that doesn't line up either as our one '100%' Scum flip ( L_P ) doesn't Bestow, he only directly affects an Island player. And since Scum on the Island don't start with a PR there is no way they could have a Forger ability as Afterlife players don't affect other Afterlife players. I'm going to use this kind of logic to go through the 2 deaths in each thread and try and find something there but that won't be for a while. Like Tim, I also have some Birthday cleberation stuff to attend to so I'm going to be out for the rest of today. By the way, Tim! When you read this, Happy Birthday! :) Hiiiiiiii. I'm gonna read this thread now. Me getting that protect last night seems odd assuming you all were the ones that killed me. Welcome to the Ghost House! From what we can gather Zatoth didn't submit a Bestow command before the Night's end so, if that happens, they are RNG'd out to people and you seem to be one of those people that got one.

We can drop the pretense in here. Splinter posted my exact role PM as it has always been, only omitting the part about me appeasing the volcano god. Splinter made a funny and I took advantage of it.

Well, KK's role explains why we had two spirit deaths last night.
I'm inclined to believe that the 'dark ritual' that killed Kawl was done by someone on the Island. It would explain why the Islanders can have tracking powers, those would in fact help with scum hunt.
Also, why Roy was notified of that is anybody's guess. Maybe because he's a medium, he's already kinda spiritual or something.

So, the original ghost crew left is Kalor, Karu, Sawneeks, and Swamped, yes? That group seems definitely solid, so we certainly don't want to vote any of them out. The original vote for Lone_Prodigy that just kind of coasted its way to victory with those four voting basically confirms them in my mind. The way that vote was so nonchalant and without a ton of defense makes it very unlikely any of them are scum. It's not like there was some smoking gun on L_P that scum had to go along with to not make their alignment obvious like there was with Ridli. So a scum could've easily voted for someone else.
Blarg being enigmatic means there isn't a ton to use from that flip.
Ridli and his interactions pre freak out might give the best source of evidence to determine who among the current islanders to look at, but we need to focus on the vote here. And that leaves it between me, Nin, and Sorian.
Obviously Ridli and Sorian set themselves at extraordinarily obvious loggerheads. Could potentially have been a plot to set themselves at a point where whoever flips first exonerates the other. But my suspicion from Sorian was born from the day 1 BS fest, and apparently there weren't any scum that day, so I'll just keep that thought in the back of my head for now.
I need to go look at Nin's posts again, because he's as much of a ghost in my mind as I'm sure I was in a lot of yours. We're just so stealthy.

I read you as town and Nin as null if that's any indicator to which way I'll probably be voting (protip: it's Nin).

Nin's posts aren't particularly enlightening. (I hope that link works, it should be all of Nin's posts in the alive thread.) Starts off with entirely filler, has a few opinions but a lot of just posting for posting's sake. Asks questions but doesn't follow up on the answers. Didn't really comment on the whole Ridli kerfuffle until it was all over (which could just be a schedule thing), finally came in like "well that seems bad for him" gafia.boards.net/post/19147/thread and that was it. Could be not wanting to comment strongly either way on the downfall of his teammate.

I suppose now that we know about teams not getting assigned till the second day, might it be prudent to see if anyone vastly changed their opinion of another poster between Day 1 and 2, possibly because they finally found themselves on a team with them? Obviously a lot to sort through. Maybe you guys have better notes with matrices of poster opinions or something.

Two things:
A) The win condition for scum is to "kill everyone", yet the win condition of trigger stated that he had a survivor win condition that could win with both scum and town. Those two win conditions DIRECTLY CONTRADICT EACH OTHER. If scum needs to kill everyone, Trigger could have never won with scum.
B) Can we talk about how weird of a night banish NF was? He wasn't very active, and he had basically a confirmed bestow power that wasn't that useful. Why banish him as scum?

Just to get a nice overview: Kalor N2=Coppa+Darryl Karu N2=ty4on+Darryl Magnumboys N2=Terra+Scrafty Sawneeks N2=Ty40n+Darryl Swamped N2=Kawl+Ty40n Sorian N2= wasn't here Ultron N2= wasn't here Nin N2= wasn't here Zipped N2= Scrafty? + ?? Zatoth N2= ?? + Never forever N2= Darryl + Roy I think all the 5 that told me their bestowed on N2 are relatively clear, since non of that information was refuted when I presented it. That leaves Sorian, Ultron and Nin as question marks. Maybe it is a good idea if everyone says who they bestowed after their first night here?

That may be a little dishonest to hide the role to begin with but wouldn't be that far out there in this game. And yeah, NF seems like an odd choice to me too. Maybe tracking is actually important or maybe they wanted me to think that tracking is important since I've been a proponent against it. As for your other question Roy, I bestowed you twice last night. I knew that wouldn't be provable and I'm sorry but I didn't want to clog up a player with what I think is a useless power when they can only hold three.

Maybe you can bestow the player we kill tonight with 2 tracking? That would show on his flip.

I'm not sure why it is scummy to kill KK, I do worry that killing the ghost buster the first time is what made Kawl skip the afterlife but I think testing it one more time won't be too much of a hurt considering how much scum we've gotten and what do they have to lose? Lynch KK, keep a suspicious person second, shouldn't be too terribly hard.
