Goddamn this game is intense. WOW! So this is what it's like when you play a pure game with no PRs...

i admit im a bit worried if they are enjoying the game... seems like it's really hard to play mafia without any indication that an inves role will provide some guidance. i hope at least it's a worthwhile experience to run, at least once, for the community ^___^;;;;
on another note, is anyone else noticing how royal_flush isn't getting any heat in the last page or so? why is that? is it something in his posting style or more of the contents he's been putting forward...?

I certainly hope they are enjoying themselves! In this sort of setting it's super important to be eloquent, succinct and persuasive as you said. And I think a lot of the players on the player list like that sort of playstyle! Personally, I think that following this game should be a pre-requisite for potential game runners. I think I've learnt that PRs shouldn't be replacing normal scum hunting, but just enhancing it and making things more unpredictable for the players. From what i've seen most of the gafia games we have had have been like this, but it's just nice to know the origin of a regular mafia game lol. That's why I'm soooooo curious to see which team wins in the end. The Mafia and Town teams often complain that the game was balanced in the others' favor, but in a game with no PRs? Outcome should be interesting.

I love power roles, of course, they are super fun :> but yep, they should enhance, not replace scum-huntingness :3 after all, for all of its glorious funness of, say..... me finding a ninja scum in archer, it was really based on luck not deduction. and i think this game is supposed to be about deduction, persuasion and.... yes, a little bit of luck ^___^ as for winning side, town doesnt look very strong at the moment... but im still rooting for them, somehow! :D

I'm not sure how practical it is, but I'd move the entire thread to Outer Gafia. If I were playing it'd be weird having to go here to get his opinions and I'd probably forget about him near the deadline.

I mean obviously I was killed because I pegged 2 out of 3, if not all 3 scum. Cowards, one and all.

I find it funny that this: I would have thought that early day 2 we'd be looking at the voting patterns on whoever we lynch today, and at reads/old posts of whoever got night killed. Never really happened

Pretty sure scum is going to win. I'm doubting that Crimson was scum either so really, they were screwed regardless.

This may become the first scum full team win in gafia history! Best scum team? No

Gafia wasn't ready for making sick reads with no PRs. This wake up call that some people rely too heavily on investigators Not to diminish scum team though, they are obviously playing excellently. Though if Splinter is scum then lol he got Droplet good.
