swampie, yeah soyuri and retro said it! these are gaffers from the portrait drawing thread... except for the kid. that one was a gaffer's nephew cuz i think you have to be at least 13 to be on gaf ha ha~ scrafty, oooh a commish~ nice ! here's non-portraity ones. i drew these ones for writers on gaf, the first one was a nano-er and the second one is for h.protagonist's novel :D   |

there's like really good thread on gaf that helps with drawing fundamentals, kikimon wants link? i am terribad but if kikimon shows me what kikimon wanna draw, i can give tips? kikimon probably is very talented and is just faking being humble and all that huh :3

No, I can literally hardly draw an actual straight line. I did graphic design for a while (screwed up my hands and wrists, though; had to scale back a lot) and I remember in my first class on it my prof was explaining about how people are made of shapes and not lines and gosh, it's just so hard for me to make things happen on the page. Related: I cannot visualize. Which is probably why my writing is stronger on sonics than on description. But yes, links, and helps and all the things! I'm so jealous of the stuff here and on GAF and so many people can DRAW and it's beautiful Mr. Monkey also can and I hate him (except not). I am mostly doing abstract and impressionistic paintings but I keep practicing stronger landscapes and I tried a still life and it was absolutely wretched. It was so wretched I painted over the whole thing. I will just hang at your feet and ooh and ahhh and practice until I can not be awful.
eta: obviously I got the despair part down, so now just about those lines and circles....
