This is perfect if they end up lynching pandas.
Hopefully that will win us a lot of points when Crab is confirmed scum.

Alright, speculation time:
01 [m] MagnumBoy20xx - New
06 [m] Flame_AC
07 [-] Enker
09 [m] Matt Attack
11 [m] Kalor
14 [m] Lone_Prodigy
One of these goobers has the sword (maybe kawl or CM, but they die tonight anyway so eeeeeh). But who? On post 2401 sawneeks is convinced that the person that she gave it to on night 2 has received it. That has to be someone that showed believe in the horcruxes. on 2181 we have her last read list. of this list, she has magnum, Flame, matt and L_P as town, Enker and kalor as scum vibes. I think that removes enker and kalor from this list. Also, L_P used his puppy power tonight, and since i doubt you can use the sword and a power at the same time, that leaves magnum, flame and matt. One of them probably has the sword if I have to guess.

Flame was blocked last night, so it can't be him. We could try and kill Matt Attack tonight if Crab survives. Block Cm, kill ma, posion Kalor. We might even get two kills if Enker/ma are lovers. Which means we'd have majority D8 if Gorlak is lynched.
I don't think lynching Gorlak tomorrow will be difficult.

If i counted correctly, they now have destoryed 3 of the 6 (or 7, but lets assume 6) horcruxes (cup, ring and Harry potter). The location of two of the other horcruxes are known to the sword wielder thanks to kawl, so he will probably attack those 2 first. That means that if magnum has the word, he dies before he can shifts his attention to exodu5. good. Matt attack however is one of the few people that is not confirmed town. So I would like to avoid him for now. Remember, every confirmed towny also means they are one step closer to finding exodu5. So i want to stay away from enker, flame and matt for now.

Way way too many important book characters imo. If I was town right now I'd start lynching the obscure ones like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, if not for the two ordinarys and Dean we'd be the only non key characters in the game. We stick out horribly in the full list. Just lucky the remaining obscure characters are manned by scummy players.
Not that there aren't key characters left, but who in their right mind would claim those characters unless they knew they weren't taken in advance. Idk.

This will be a point that will defiantly be discussed during post game talk, believe me. Alright, alright. There's no need to browbeat salva and nin, I don't think either of them have run a game before and I was having a quiet word with Palmer and he said that they didn't always get the feedback they needed. I don't think you guys realize how much behind the scenes stuff I did with Matty_G and Karkador during S2, getting games right is really hard and there's no way you get it right first time without help. Frankly, I've had fun and while the game hasn't always gone 100% smoothly, it's definitely managed to avoid the worst wobbles it could have had, so that means they've done a good job all round. On a different note, I'm relieved Flame_AC, Enker and Matt_Attack all have roles that (hopefully, not sure about Ginny) are useless or do nothing. It means we don't need to detour to kill any of them, and it also means there shouldn't be any surprise prevented kills unless Gorlak does something funky. The only thing I'm worried about now is Gryffindor's Sword - if that hits Exodu5, I will throw a massive tantrum. 13 Enker - Ginny Weasley 16 Matt Attack - Dean Thomas 02 MagnumBoy20xx - Neville 21 Kalor - Ron Weasley 25 Lone_Prodigy - Sirius Black Sword is somewhere in this lot. Best case scenario is Magnum or Kalor; worst case scenario is Lone_Prodigy. The sword wielder knows that Kalor and Kawl have Horcruxes, and given we seem to get told publicly if one is destroyed, what I'll do tonight (assuming I'm not dead) is randomly block one of these. If we're very lucky, and no Horcrux is destroyed tomorrow, I blocked the sword-user. It's a 1 in 5 chance, which isn't bad, and additionally, if one ie IS destroyed, you know the sword-user is in the other 4 somewhere. Otherwise, I think my strategy from earlier still holds. Tonight, KILL: CM, POISON: Kalor (and apologize to Gorlak tomorrow), day after that KILL... probably Enker, as Ginny is the only one out of Dean/Seamus/Ginny likely to have a power, and POISON whichever one of Matt Attack or Flame_AC is playing better.

But I do think all the problems this game had should be talked about during the post game discussion. Anyway, maybe it is smart to block gorlak tonight just to be sure he doesn't block exodu5? That would be a disaster.

We'll talk about these things, sure, but personally I see it as an issue with GAFIA more than anything else - the mentoring system clearly wasn't up to scratch. That's my fault.
I'm not sure about blocking Gorlak. You're right him blocking Exodu5 is a big risk; but we don't want to antagonize him.

Do we want to say something to gorlak before the day ends? Do we want him to target someone specific? Maybe L_P so that him not protecting CM tonight can be explained?

Could tell him to punish Crab which might make him punish me instead but idk. If he has the slightest thought that I'm actually a town Bodyguard he won't block me. That would mean instant death tomorrow. He's not that dumb, but he also seems cocky so reverse psychology might work.

I threatened Gorlak in the thread, but really, I don't think there's any reason no to just keep him locked down for the game if he doesn't want to play ball. My only worry is exposing Exodu5 by not targeting him, especially if he oits himself as an investigator.

I seem to be one of the more trusted people in the unconfirmed group. That is good, but could become a problem if exodu5 gets some heat on him and I need to become scummy target #1 to save him. Yeah, being seen as town could turn out to be a disadvantage, crazy shit. My only worry is exposing Exodu5 by not targeting him, especially if he oits himself as an investigator. There are very little non-confirmed townies left. scum targeting confirmed townies instead of a maybe power role that is unconfirmed is believable. TheExodu5 tonight we will probably have to work as a team on your full role claim, since that could be a make or break moment. I still am fearful of you claiming another investigator for example. We don't seem to have a tracker, maybe that is a better claim? We will have to look into this.

Also flatearthpandas, is it smart if we tell Gorlak about the horcrux actually being a alternative town win condition? He seems to doubt it, and him being aware of the risk of the game ending (and thus him losing) because of the horcruxes could help us. We have a shared goal in preventing a horcrux win.

You're over thinking it now. All we need to do is lynch Gorlak tomorrow and we win. That's it. Another investigative role only has to make sense for the span of time it'll take for Gorlak to be lynched. 3 Horcruxes remain. Even if we don't block or kill Sword the next two nights it won't matter. They have a 1 out of 4 shot of hitting Exdou. N8, plus we don't know that it ends the game. It's not happening.
Fep today. Kill cm, posion/block kalor Gorlak tomorrow. Kill Mattattack(imo just in case of lovers), posion flame, block lp or enker 4v4 D8, Strong arm town into lynching L_p. Kill opposite of n7 block if that result was negative sword, posion no one, block Enker.
We need to check 6 for the sword. The assumption right now is the sword will break when the person dies(it fucking better).
01 [m] MagnumBoy20xx (Dies tomorrow) 02 [m] Kawl_USC (Dies tonight)
06 [m] Flame_AC (was blocked yesterday) 07 [-] Enker(kill N8) 09 [m] Matt Attack(kill N7) 11 [m] Kalor (Block N6)
13 [m] Christina Mackenzie(was blocked yesterday) 14 [m] Lone_Prodigy(lynch D8 or block n8)

I may try a gamble with my role on day 7 to try and get someone else lynched, if that gets me suspicious, so be it, it takes attention away from exodu5 which is good. Also, for a time now I have got the theory that horcruxes (and the sword?) will not get destoryed when the person is night killed by us. But instead, we can grab the horcrux for ourselves. The reason for that is that I still think it is weird we have no way to interact with town held horcruxes. Combine that with our win condition of killing everyone, and if a horcrux gets destroyed by a night kill that would make the game end as soon as we no longer hold any (and the thief is dead), since there will be no way to kill every towny without also destroying the horcruxes. That is a weird way to design the game IMO, so I think we can actually interact with town horcruxes by killing the holder.

What instructions do we want to give Gorlak before I get the turbo?

Alright, after thinking about it a bit, we defiantly should block Gorlak. Look at the list of targets he has:
01 [m] MagnumBoy20xx - New
02 [m] Kawl_USC - New
03 [m] TheExodu5 - New
07 [-] Enker
09 [m] Matt Attack
10 [m] Crab
12 [m] Lord of Castamere
13 [m] Christina Mackenzie
14 [m] Lone_Prodigy
He will not hit Kawl, CM or magnum, since those are all on death row. Same with Crab, will get lynched tomorrow.
03 [m] TheExodu5 - New
07 [-] Enker
09 [m] Matt Attack
12 [m] Lord of Castamere
14 [m] Lone_Prodigy
He will not hit L_P, since he has a power that could make Gorlak his mark fail, and he will probably also not hit LoC because he is suspicious and a high lynch target, and if LoC is actually town, he has a power that will kill him soon.
03 [m] TheExodu5 - New
07 [-] Enker
09 [m] Matt Attack
That leaves this. That is a 1/3 chance to hit exodu5, that's very high. Not only that, but him hitting enker or matt is also bad. Town then can stripe one off the "potential poisoner" list, a list that is already quite small, putting a lot of attention on Exodu5. We need to avoid that. We need to block Gorlak.

Yeah, that's true.
Kill: C_M Block: Gorlak Poison: Kalor
I'll put in my command. I'll try to go over my role-claim tomorrow if I have time...going out tonight. I think it's fairly solid. I've been posting with it in mind for a few days now.
