It might work as a lie, though, because while there's been plenty of good reason to suspect Dusk, Kyanrute has not done much to make himself trustworthy and this is a very odd counter-request considering it requires Dusk to give up something we know is in play as a mechanic - gender. (eta: and in the meantime, this all takes attention away from other stuff - it's an interesting play). There's nothing really interesting about it, except for the sheer chaos in watching town get derailed. Worst case scenario, Dusk will be responsible for two town deaths. His own, and Kyan's, while also putting all the discussion on him as to if he's scum or not. And he has no actual power that he claims, so he either has to admit his mistake, or tell another white lie to cover it up. All around a very risky and not advisable play. Yeah, after the upset of last night town is now doing an excellent job in ruining it all. |

Also, kyanrute is right, claiming to have checked me N1 is way too convenient. I am really wondering what is going through kyanrute's mind right now. Other than the obvious. For that matter, what is Dusk thinking? Is he just tunneling too hard on kyan and going for the lynch? |

I was a tracker, but somehow manage to always follow people that didn't go anywhere. So when I claimed I basically had to say "I followed 5 guys but got 0 results". It was the truth, but still made me look super bad. It sucks, but happens. |

The way Kyan is playing this out is very interesting... I think he thinks he has scum, but doesn't realize it's just a dumb townie gambit. Still, I'll be amazed if he convinces town not to lynch him. |

Kyanrute is apparently so angry he can't sleep. I can't blame him. It is making his posts a touch incoherent though.
I'm not sure what Kyan can do to dig his way out of this trap though. Would revealing the anime series his character is from help? Considering what he has already revealed though, that might just spill the entire role.
I do notice that cabot let slip that he is paying big attention to who may or may not be a commuter though. Scum tell.

Dusk keeps claiming I implied that I had a role, but I was specifically trying to avoid that. I left a breadcrumb or two for my character, but they were subtle and weren't designed to give any hints as to my role. Is this based off of my speculation about gender balance? I was going off of public information everyone had and made sure to not let it slip I actually knew anything for certain.
Did I mess up? Or are people just reading things into my words based off stuff they learned later? I am honestly unsure which.

How many defensive roles are in the game though? Counting me and Nomadic Sparks, and now with Kyanrute, that is three roles with some sort of potent passive defense. We still haven't seen much of what these roles are supposed to be defending against, other than scum night kills. It is kind of interesting.
You put together an interesting game, Burbeting. I like how the gender mechanic plays into a lot of different roles and the cosplay element.

Town has lots of defensive power roles, but almost none that gather information.
Kyan's power is balanced with it being 2-shot, and that female roles can still kill him.

At this point lynching Dusk is the best outcome since that wouldn't lead to a chain mislynch.
