Since there seem to be quite some people in this community that play hearthstone, I thought I may be a fun idea to organize some kind of tournament/get together to see who is the most lucky skillful. If you are interested, please post your battle.net idea in this thread so that we can add each other! Maybe also add how good you are so that we can take that into account.
My battle.net: roytheone#1388 Skill level: pretty low, i play very casually (like 1 game per day) and my deck still mostly consists of the starter cards.
If anyone has never played hearthstone before but still want to join, be advised: I think you still need to complete the tutorial before you can actually play online. It's not incredibly long, but it is probably handy to complete it beforehand.
However, while typing this I realized a pretty big problem: regions. Apparently you can only play with other people in the same region as you, and I think our community is a bit split between the america and Europe regions. Now, you can switch regions, but then you will not be able to use the cards you have gotten in your original region and have to remake your deck. This would be pretty unfair for the people that will have to switch regions. Anyone have some ideas about how to deal with this?

(If such a region exists)

Everyone swap to a region that isn't their's? (If such a region exists) Possible, but not ideal, since: -everyone will have to redo the tutorial -we will only be able to use the starter cards -if someone wants to use a different hero than the mage, they will need to beat that AI battle again.

I got into Hearthstone earlier this year and have been playing consistently since. I don't have the best decks, but I think I do alright.
Fireblend#1850 @ NA region.
Looking forward to the next expansion this Thursday. The disciver stuff looks fun, and unlike when TGT dropped, I actually have enough gold this time around to purchase it :P

To be honest, I don't really like this game. I don't have any of the good cards so whenever I played ranked, at a certain point I run into the common metagame decks stuffed with legendaries.
Yet I keep playing. It's the quests, the Tavern Brawls, and playing against friends that keep me interested.

I would be more than happy to crush your hearthstone dreams on NA.

So this just happened. Explanation: the minion on his left makes the hero immune to all damage. I kill it with my minion and my hero power (do 1 damage to anything), then use my card to do 6 damage to the hero. Since he has no cards left, the hero takes damage and he loses.

Yeah seeing people in Ranked with scores of Legendaries is a frustrating experience, especially at low ranks. It makes beating one all the more satisfying though.

I'm Kalor#2969 on battle.net. I started playing again recently after not playing since shortly after the Naxxramas update.

Last night I was going for rank 15. Needed one more win to get it, and got an aggro warrior as an opponent. I decided to race him (with face hunter) but fell behind and had to clear the board to stay alive.
At 6 HP, he plays two Arcane Golems (4/2 Charge). I move to concede but he ends his turn unexpectedly.
Not sure what happened there (didn't know about the Charge?) but I'll take it.
