Give me all of your music, give me all of it now. I shall consume it like The Blob. I use deezer (alternative spotify) for all my streaming goodness, and I like making lotsa playlists:
Deezer | cabbeh's (who?) Playlists
What are you listening to? What genres turn you on? What's your favourite Taylor Swift lyric? What's the best music video of all time, OF ALL TIME? SHARING IS CARING, SO CARE TO SHARE!

It appears that Deezer has not made it to the US yet.

It seems it is in the US, exclusive to Sonos or some shit.
Sounds adequately awful.

Yeah, when I go to it now I get this message: COMING SOON... Deezer, the streaming music service, will soon be available in your country.
And then a spot to put in my e-mail so they can let me know when it'll be available.

Most of my tastes are pretty generic - Alternative, stuff from the 80s ands 90s, a very small amount of country inherited from road trips with my parents when I was a kid. My more eclectic tastes go to nerd rock, so here are examples of those: The Protomen - a band that does a rock opera based on the story of Mega Man Hope Rides Alone (First song of their first album, with music video!)
Breaking OutNo Easy Way Out (This one is a cover) I Fight Dragons - Alternative with a lot of chiptunes Save World, Get Girl - (This was featured on the Nintendo 3DS Video channel, which is how I found out about them.) Chameleon Circuit - Does music based on Doctor Who The Doctor is Dying - I really like the concept behind the music video for this one - The Tenth Doctor fighting off the skeletons of his past selves in an effort to survive is a cool concept. Kiss the Girl - Based on the episode, "The Lodger" Blink - Based on one of the best episodes of Doctor Who, which is also called Blink.

Something new for me there, thanks Retro!
I'll pick some songs out later from a non-Deezer source.

Super Soul Bros. Are pretty legit. They're a Jazz/Rock Fusion band who plays video game music (if you've ever been to PAX, they tend to hang out near the Fangamer booth). Here's them playing a Jazz version of Chemical Plant Zone. Also if you live in the San Jose area they do a few shows around there. Otherwise let's pull up some classic rock (cause that's my jam and I have to make you all listen to it): Styx - Grand Illusion. I looked them up on wikipedia and they're considered "Arena Rock" whatever that means. Blind Faith - Can't find My Way Home. It's a supergroup with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood. That should be enough for you. Here's to You. I listened to this every time someone in MGS mafia died. David Bowie - Cygnet Committee. Because who doesn't want to listen to 9:35 of David Bowie singing about dystopian societies and the hypocrisy of the hippie movement in the late 60s? The build up for the end is amazing.

Oh, Coppa reminded me of something crazy that I know you folks would find funny. What would you say if I told you that someone had re-recorded many David Bowie to send little children off to sleep with? Crazy, you say? Here, have "The Man Who Sold the World" as a lullaby. It's apparently from "Rockabye Baby: Lullaby renditions of David Bowie Songs." And this is apparently a thing, because Youtube just served me some Pink Floyd lullabies to go with it. Unrelated, I have no idea what "Here's to you" actually has to do with the MGS series. I know 4 was supposed to end with Snake and Otacon being executed as terrorists, but what does it have to do with Phantom Pain? Does it relate to Big Boss and Kaz? Big Boss and Zero? I've never understood why that song is in that series.

Also it played in the end of 4, and then in 5 it was only in Ground Zeroes (I don't think it showed up in TPP). It just plays in the intro and credits of Ground Zeroes for some reason. But it just sticks out a lot because the main mission portion of that game is like an hour so it just feels like the game is just one giant song.

I know rockabye baby, they did a radiohead collection. I am a radiohead obsessive, I have their lullaby collection for radiohead.
I'm sorry.

Oh some other good music! Treasure's Soundtrack for the Mcdonald's Treasure Land Adventure Game for Sega Genesis. Gerry Rafferty- Night Owl. This song has a Lyricon solo. What's a lyricon? It's a fucking ELECTRONIC WOODWIND INSTRUMENT. It sounds awesome and I wish I had one to play.
