I hope everyone actually reads the rules properly this time so there's no "Hey guys! You'll definitely win if you vote this team" lies/confusion going on. Though that was kinda fun...

I hope everyone actually reads the rules properly this time so there's no "Hey guys! You'll definitely win if you vote this team" lies/confusion going on. Though that was kinda fun... I wholeheartedly approve of rule lies during ONUW. I do my best to have everything listed in the opening posts but ONUW is meant to be a confusing beast (why I love having new blood around  ) and if someone wants to take advantage of that and feign ignorance, they can feel free. One of my favorites was Blarg pretending (maybe not pretending? Don't remember) that he didn't understand how he could be a different role than the one that got PM'd to him in his first ONUW game. |

The prince role is interesting, although I'm not sure how a town player is supposed to play it; seems to me like it's sort of a hunter-lite role. I think I'd be more interested in how the wolf team or maybe even the tanner team could exploit it.

Both the cursed and the prince are definitely there for the wolf team (and tanner, possibly) to exploit for the purposes of lying. That being said, a gutsy prince can use his or her role for some #unnecessarygambit action. What's the worst that happens if your gambit fails and you get caught in a lie? The town is going to vote you out, that's fine, since you may caused enough of a commotion to uncover the right lynch target and your vote and hopefully some of the remaining voters put that player into second. So yes, in that way it is hunter-lite since the hunter could do the same but then just point their arrow at the right choice but I do like that the prince still needs to be diplomatic enough to get some support to have his way. |

If I can get Retro to make one minor tweak, I'm probably going to have them vote like this for this round (even if he can't make the tweak, I might have them vote like this anyway for science).
