Yep, stayed up and read it all. I'm gonna go to bed before going active tomorrow, but I want to ddiscuss a few things with you beforehand. #1) The heat is on me right now, but this is pretty much normal for me in mafia. #2) I haven't watched Blargonaut in every game he's played, but he is REALLY coming off like scum-Blarg to me. The style of arguing is really similar to what I've faced from him before. I would explore the possibility he and Star are bussing. #3) The Daytime push on Darryl came off like scum foregoing a NK on him because they think they have him off-balance. On his heels and vulnerable. It's not exactly fair, but dropping out is going to stop a lot of momentum they were building. #4) I want to take the game in another direction. We have a piece of info on ty we should use. He has rarely (if ever?) been scum in these games, so I'm wary if only by probability. #5) Honestly, I was surprised by TWE and Corn's flips. I'm itching for an unnecessary gambit. #1) I don't even know how to play as Mason opposed to as Scum. Am I supposed to make ties and connections between us (especially since I can't claim) or am I supposed to keep distance to not get NKd? #2) I agree. Something about Blarg is very odd this game. #3) hmmm... #4) We know he's not that one very specific PR. I don't see how this is of any use unless he claims that specific role. #5) CB not so much, but I didn't have TWE on my Scum list either. |

Lore-wise what happens here is that Danny Fenton is Danny Phantom and only few people know about this (just like most people don't know Bruce Wayne is Batman). The list of humans who do are you, Sam (dead), my friend Tucker and possibly my parents Jack and Maddie (My PM says they hate ghosts but later in the series they learn Danny's identity and accept it, so I'm not sure). [My Role PM] just said I invite them here if I target "specific allies". In fact the only source of my assumption that these allies are the ones that know Danny's identity is the OP of this thread.
I find it more and more unlikely that my parents are in there since that would mean a total of 3 unclaimed PRs I could recruit.

So then this cop claim is your last friend?
The rule that we can't claim who the real Danny Phantom is so specific and bolted onto this situation, it suggests to me that it's there to patch a watcher or tracker making it easy to use you as bait...but it also kinda suggests to me that the last friend would be a watcher, not a cop.

Lynching an ordinary Town is not the worst thing in the world, but it's a Town player nonetheless. I will certainly get shit for it tomorrow, if I survive til then. FWIW, sorry for taking liberties with your role, without really consulting you. Time was just short.
Mafia has a choice to make tonight. If Panda is telling the truth, killing the Cop is probably top priority for them. However, it will confirm Ty4on, Trigger, and you as Town. They might do this if they think they can throw enough heat on me tomorrow for the Blarg lynch.
On the other hand, if they kill me tonight, there's nobody left to speak for Danny Phantom, and the only way the Cop will be confirmed is if Danny Phantom reveals themselves. However, that requires them assuming that I was the only person you recruited so far.
In short, killing Panda gets rid of the cop and makes me target #1 the next day, but also confirms a number of players. However, killing me leaves Panda's claim ambiguous and puts more pressure on PRs to reveal.

What do you think of the possibility that Rats is a scum -aligned switcher? I feel like what we know about this scenario so far, a switcher seems to make more sense on the scum side.
If you get a negative result on recruiting Giant Panda, we have to also consider that a scum-aligned Rats switched Panda with someone else.

Its possible. But he hadn't had a lot of pressure. Why would he claim.
On the other hand we're kind of running out of characters for fake claims if all the claims are true. We shouldn't rule it out.

Rats had pressure? I can't really find where he was being pressured to role claim, but pressure to roleclaim doesn't necessarily mean Town, anyway. Really curious to see the new Day start.

It's hard to tell if the lack of "OMG WHAT" from the game after this clear contradiction is
1) The lack of activity
2) Mafia players not wanting to push on the obvious 'bait'

No. Here are some examples of you or Kark claiming: "I am Danny Phantom." "Royal Flush is that role we all know about." "My role is kinda super really important giys" Essentially as long as it isn't super obvious as to what your role is, I'll allow it. |
