Not sure what Kris was trying to accomplish there. My only guess is he's HP and thinks he has a chance at ER finally. That makes me think HP is not Mafia, cause we obviously just kill him tomorrow now.

I meant to ask, but was afraid of the answer being known widely, if there is a Mafia here and a Mafia out there, does forcing this one prevent the other from submitting a kill? Though I guess Mafia here means they would all know the answer anyway.

Here's the interesting thing though. if Mike is silent that suggest they would have used him exclusively until he died, suggesting Yeeny's n1 block was not effective and thus mafia had a kill floating around. It makes me feel a lot better about Zeke.

I agree about that, but I was still 90% certain he was good. He just got incredibly irrational today. What do we think about Mazre? I find it very hard to believe there would have been more than one alignment controlling mafia. My worst fear is a switcher.

I was pissed that Enker wasted his override. On a player we had majority vote on? Really? So I got jealous and decided I would fake role claim to force people into a lynch. As soon as QuantumBro posted his role in last night's mission chat, I decided I would incriminate him somehow, someway.
What didn't help is that QB's role claim included a mention of the honeypot. I still see nothing but red. He obviously concocted a fake, harmless weak cop claim to slip under the radar and verify town players. But Roman, a hunter that just lets ISIS go? Come on. There is no honeypot. Archer has been the only honeypot the entire show. Not only that, but the only other possible honeypot character in the entire show is Katya, and I think she would be lovers with Barry, who is now dead.
There is no honeypot. Ezekel's 3 bps instead of infinite bp didn't help my demeanor either. Palmer, that's why I told you I was worried about players who make "slight changes" to their role claim. Wtf is the point of 3bp? Does not qualitatively change the game. I was letting Ezekel know, inconspicuously, that I did not appreciate his modified claim at all. But I still thought he was town, just maybe a hidden pr. And if there is another archer, now would be the time to claim, so it is obvious he is archer. Kgb microchip is silly. ...although possible. If it's true, high five to Ouro for awesome writing.
Back to QB. So the day happened and I was set to say QB never investigated, get him lynched, and that would be my version of the override I was so covetous of. Cool. But then yesno came out with her evidence and Mike became the obvious choice.
Rats.
I still couldn't let it go, though. I needed yes no to roleblock QB tonight so that's when I claimed. We didn't know squidyj could do his thing on missions though so if I had known, I wouldn't have revealed. Anyway, if QB was roleblocked that night and still no nightkill, it would have been a nice little sloop and squat. Four mafia lynches in a row would have gotten our game in the GAFia hall of fame. So that's why I roleclaimed.
My role claim was structured in a way that would have signaled to someone that I had a plan. First, I chose a player that most certainly had a real occupant. That move is way too risky for KGB. Second, I was cleared by the weak cop, so why would I want to be back in the spotlight? At worst if I was KGB then QB was weird neutral but that doesn't matter to KGB so I would be spared 3, maybe 4 nights. That's basically enough to throw the game. It was as good as godfather, But I forsook it, so that's another indicator I'm town. So the person reading my role claim should have gone "Well, I'm actually Pam. But he must have a good reason for this, so I'm going to let it slide for a day."
Hobo did not do this. Which irritated me, so I had to deal with that. But that's why we were both telling each other we don't think the other's kgb. He realized I had a gambit, just not a good one. But he didn't like QB's claim either so I forgive him.
Then squiddy revealed mission force kill. Wow. That's a game changer. Now I didn't need to force people to lynch QB, I just needed to get him back on the mission. That's awesome. So my role claim wasn't for naught after all because it necessitated squiddy ability for proof.
So where are we now? QB, Palmer, and I came here voluntarily. None of us are probably scum. Best case scenario is all four of us live and we've verified three people (!!!). Me, Palmer, and QB. Worst case scenario is squid dies and we have a 50 50 of getting last kgb (Palmer or QB) since I'm clearly town (my proof? In my role pm it says ISIS! I must be town! Dun dun dun, deduction.)

I don't really have him pegged as scum as much as a desperate neutral trying to work some sort of win condition magic.
It's QB I think is scum. Hobohodo is legit pam with a legit snoop and legitimately saw QB and yeeny visit me which shows that out of the visible people who were in town that day, only those two had regularly used night actions. The mission team when I used my power was Mazre and Zeke but neither one can be the roleblocker which suggests that the roleblocker was in my sphere of influence when I used my power. It also seems unlikely that a KGB roleblocker would have limited activations.

The lack of an Archer CC and Darryl clearing him are the only reasons I trust ER, but they're GOOD reasons. If he was Mafia, I see absolutely no point to anything he did except get on the mission to report activity. In that case, the whole Gorlak thing makes no goddamn sense. He would have waited for a new non-mafia to join, and then kill Darryl.

If you're mafia scum in this game you have to behave as though I don't have the power I said I had and hope that I was lying (at this point).
If the only scum is on the mission and there is 1 then the best scenario is to target noone even though it sets you back a kill, otherwise you force at most 2 mislynches and it is likely town will attempt to restrict your ability to generate kills on future nights as they work to resolve the puzzle.
If there is scum outside the mission then they should kill as normal outside the mission. They could attempt to trigger a mislynch on Yeeny's block target but it's not a strategy that will win them the game, they very much need to claw ahead on kills.
It seems almost impossible for there to be more than 5 mafia in this game so I think we would have at most 2 remaining unless there is some sort of conversion role. which would be horrifying.

4 with decent powers would not be unusual considering we have 2 neutrals, and maybe up to 4 neutrals. So really the game was 19 players. 15v4 seems right. 14v5 seems to favor mafia a lot. 16v3 favors town, and we already know it's more than 3.

So.... having looked at some plausible mafia strategy I don't think we lose much if I reveal that while I am a Lightning Rod I was only one-shot and cannot force actions on mission. I was debating holding it until tomorrow to see if mafia(read QB) would try to kill in our little group but seeing how suicidal that would be for them I think that it is unlikely.
My goal was simply to put pressure on Zeke and Mazre who had been less than towny, less than talkative, and less than cooperative about their mission involvement. As a result I feel much better abotu them in the end, in spite of the shakiness of Zeke in the middle. I resolved myself not to lie in mission chat and you can see that reflected in how I answered the previous questions in here.

Thought, I don't know anything anymore. If he is KGB, then he would just see you as a weird neutral with a win condition that is not related to his own and let you do your own thing. Allies are more important than ever considering 3 KGB are dead (this reminds me of when Raindoc realized Palmer was his bodyguard and forged a game winning alliance).
He could be neutral survivor because he's a dick and you've caught on to it and made a gamble.
But both of those are unlikely and I'm coming around to the honeybutt being valid theory.

Nobody has ever counterclaimed Archer. At this point in the game, that seems very unlikely. FFS, how many people are actually left that haven't made a claim at all? So I take it as fact that he is Sterling Archer.
He was investigated by our Cop. Darryl had no reason to lie about what result he got. The only way ER could be Mafia or Neutral is if he has a Godfather type role, he was converted afterwards, or there was a Mafia switcher on the mission. Why Mafia? Because anybody else would have come out and explained their actions by now.
So is ER a Godfather? Fluff-wise, it's possible with the microchip thing. Meta-game wise, I find it unlikely due to Nikolai's role. Between Squidyj, YesNo, and Haly, there are already 3 ways that his power could go wrong. I just find it really hard to believe there would be another role like that in the game.
Was there a Switcher? He got cleared N2, when it was me, ER, Mazre, and Darryl. It's obviously not Darryl, and I really don't think it would be Archer. Partly because it doesn't fit the fluff, and partly because most switchers cannot self target. That leaves me or Mazre.
Case for me being Mafia Switcher: There is zero hard evidence to prove it, and I feel like I've been pretty pro-town at every opportunity, though I did make some mistakes in regards to Darryl since I simply didn't trust him entirely. He cleared the scummiest motherfuckers.(Mazre, ER, and TheGodamn)
Case for me NOT being the switcher: Again, no hard evidence. It would require the Mafia to have put TWO members on a team with a known cop N2, and since most switchers can't self target, there was a 50/50 shot I get investigated and outed. It also makes the Gorlak kill make no sense. Also, why wouldn't I have submitted the Night kills instead of Mike after he got blocked the first time? Or just switched him while he put in the kill?
I'm not going to rehash it for Mazre, because the same reasoning applies in every case. Only real difference is I don't think he's played particularly helpful to town. Then again, I'm not sure if he has a role or anything, so there might be more going on behind the scenes.
Basically I think Mazre or I being switchers just doesn't make any sense. Godfather ER seems more likely.
Finally, could he have been converted? It's possible. Who had opportunities to target him after N2? Are any of them particularly sketchy? This seems like a stretch, but it's not impossible.
He's most likely just a very selfish, Town-Aligned, Sterling Archer.

On Mission Night 5, I posted a list of all players who had not been verified by some circumstance like cop, wording, or death. Here it is again, updated for yesterday.

I took off YesNo and Mike, and I also took off Hobo because there was only one other counterclaim for Pam. (Three would have been fun. Alas, it didn't happen.) I took off squidyj because of everything I said Day 6 - he took out Haly. Pure and simple.
If QB is telling the truth, then both Palmer and I are town/neutral, so probably not a threat to town. And if QB is telling the truth that also means that HE is neutral, and townish. So really, the only other person that hasn't been verified for this whole game is Septimus Prime. I think he's the final KGB agent. And even if he isn't, he's the most logical choice for tomorrow.
If QB isn't telling the truth, then both Palmer and I are suspect, still, but I think QB is more suspect because that kind of lie is more suspicious than "hasn't been cleared by the weak cop".
I can't comment on the likelihood of either scenario. I am too biased by my disbelief of the Honeypot stuff. I think that lynching QB is the safest way to get more information, but I also like playing with assumptions and would rather lynch Septimus Prime. If Septimus Prime doesn't flip red, then we should lynch QB to see if the assumptions I have made are good. And if Septimus flips ISIS and QB flips truthfully Roman, then we obviously have a godfather. I think that is our surest, most logical way to move forward.
QB, since you checked myself and palmer already, I would check squidyj just to satisfy Ezekel.

I was pissed that Enker wasted his override. On a player we had majority vote on? Really? So I got jealous and decided I would fake role claim to force people into a lynch. As soon as QuantumBro posted his role in last night's mission chat, I decided I would incriminate him somehow, someway.
What didn't help is that QB's role claim included a mention of the honeypot. I still see nothing but red. He obviously concocted a fake, harmless weak cop claim to slip under the radar and verify town players. But Roman, a hunter that just lets ISIS go? Come on. There is no honeypot. Archer has been the only honeypot the entire show. Not only that, but the only other possible honeypot character in the entire show is Katya, and I think she would be lovers with Barry, who is now dead.
There is no honeypot. Ezekel's 3 bps instead of infinite bp didn't help my demeanor either. Palmer, that's why I told you I was worried about players who make "slight changes" to their role claim. Wtf is the point of 3bp? Does not qualitatively change the game. I was letting Ezekel know, inconspicuously, that I did not appreciate his modified claim at all. But I still thought he was town, just maybe a hidden pr. And if there is another archer, now would be the time to claim, so it is obvious he is archer. Kgb microchip is silly. ...although possible. If it's true, high five to Ouro for awesome writing.
Back to QB. So the day happened and I was set to say QB never investigated, get him lynched, and that would be my version of the override I was so covetous of. Cool. But then yesno came out with her evidence and Mike became the obvious choice.
Rats.
I still couldn't let it go, though. I needed yes no to roleblock QB tonight so that's when I claimed. We didn't know squidyj could do his thing on missions though so if I had known, I wouldn't have revealed. Anyway, if QB was roleblocked that night and still no nightkill, it would have been a nice little sloop and squat. Four mafia lynches in a row would have gotten our game in the GAFia hall of fame. So that's why I roleclaimed.
My role claim was structured in a way that would have signaled to someone that I had a plan. First, I chose a player that most certainly had a real occupant. That move is way too risky for KGB. Second, I was cleared by the weak cop, so why would I want to be back in the spotlight? At worst if I was KGB then QB was weird neutral but that doesn't matter to KGB so I would be spared 3, maybe 4 nights. That's basically enough to throw the game. It was as good as godfather, But I forsook it, so that's another indicator I'm town. So the person reading my role claim should have gone "Well, I'm actually Pam. But he must have a good reason for this, so I'm going to let it slide for a day."
Hobo did not do this. Which irritated me, so I had to deal with that. But that's why we were both telling each other we don't think the other's kgb. He realized I had a gambit, just not a good one. But he didn't like QB's claim either so I forgive him.
Then squiddy revealed mission force kill. Wow. That's a game changer. Now I didn't need to force people to lynch QB, I just needed to get him back on the mission. That's awesome. So my role claim wasn't for naught after all because it necessitated squiddy ability for proof.
So where are we now? QB, Palmer, and I came here voluntarily. None of us are probably scum. Best case scenario is all four of us live and we've verified three people (!!!). Me, Palmer, and QB. Worst case scenario is squid dies and we have a 50 50 of getting last kgb (Palmer or QB) since I'm clearly town (my proof? In my role pm it says ISIS! I must be town! Dun dun dun, deduction.)

I don't really have him pegged as scum as much as a desperate neutral trying to work some sort of win condition magic.
It's QB I think is scum. Hobohodo is legit pam with a legit snoop and legitimately saw QB and yeeny visit me which shows that out of the visible people who were in town that day, only those two had regularly used night actions. The mission team when I used my power was Mazre and Zeke but neither one can be the roleblocker which suggests that the roleblocker was in my sphere of influence when I used my power. It also seems unlikely that a KGB roleblocker would have limited activations.

The lack of an Archer CC and Darryl clearing him are the only reasons I trust ER, but they're GOOD reasons. If he was Mafia, I see absolutely no point to anything he did except get on the mission to report activity. In that case, the whole Gorlak thing makes no goddamn sense. He would have waited for a new non-mafia to join, and then kill Darryl.

If you're mafia scum in this game you have to behave as though I don't have the power I said I had and hope that I was lying (at this point).
If the only scum is on the mission and there is 1 then the best scenario is to target noone even though it sets you back a kill, otherwise you force at most 2 mislynches and it is likely town will attempt to restrict your ability to generate kills on future nights as they work to resolve the puzzle.
If there is scum outside the mission then they should kill as normal outside the mission. They could attempt to trigger a mislynch on Yeeny's block target but it's not a strategy that will win them the game, they very much need to claw ahead on kills.
It seems almost impossible for there to be more than 5 mafia in this game so I think we would have at most 2 remaining unless there is some sort of conversion role. which would be horrifying.

4 with decent powers would not be unusual considering we have 2 neutrals, and maybe up to 4 neutrals. So really the game was 19 players. 15v4 seems right. 14v5 seems to favor mafia a lot. 16v3 favors town, and we already know it's more than 3.

So.... having looked at some plausible mafia strategy I don't think we lose much if I reveal that while I am a Lightning Rod I was only one-shot and cannot force actions on mission. I was debating holding it until tomorrow to see if mafia(read QB) would try to kill in our little group but seeing how suicidal that would be for them I think that it is unlikely.
My goal was simply to put pressure on Zeke and Mazre who had been less than towny, less than talkative, and less than cooperative about their mission involvement. As a result I feel much better abotu them in the end, in spite of the shakiness of Zeke in the middle. I resolved myself not to lie in mission chat and you can see that reflected in how I answered the previous questions in here.

Thought, I don't know anything anymore. If he is KGB, then he would just see you as a weird neutral with a win condition that is not related to his own and let you do your own thing. Allies are more important than ever considering 3 KGB are dead (this reminds me of when Raindoc realized Palmer was his bodyguard and forged a game winning alliance).
He could be neutral survivor because he's a dick and you've caught on to it and made a gamble.
But both of those are unlikely and I'm coming around to the honeybutt being valid theory.

Nobody has ever counterclaimed Archer. At this point in the game, that seems very unlikely. FFS, how many people are actually left that haven't made a claim at all? So I take it as fact that he is Sterling Archer.
He was investigated by our Cop. Darryl had no reason to lie about what result he got. The only way ER could be Mafia or Neutral is if he has a Godfather type role, he was converted afterwards, or there was a Mafia switcher on the mission. Why Mafia? Because anybody else would have come out and explained their actions by now.
So is ER a Godfather? Fluff-wise, it's possible with the microchip thing. Meta-game wise, I find it unlikely due to Nikolai's role. Between Squidyj, YesNo, and Haly, there are already 3 ways that his power could go wrong. I just find it really hard to believe there would be another role like that in the game.
Was there a Switcher? He got cleared N2, when it was me, ER, Mazre, and Darryl. It's obviously not Darryl, and I really don't think it would be Archer. Partly because it doesn't fit the fluff, and partly because most switchers cannot self target. That leaves me or Mazre.
Case for me being Mafia Switcher: There is zero hard evidence to prove it, and I feel like I've been pretty pro-town at every opportunity, though I did make some mistakes in regards to Darryl since I simply didn't trust him entirely. He cleared the scummiest motherfuckers.(Mazre, ER, and TheGodamn)
Case for me NOT being the switcher: Again, no hard evidence. It would require the Mafia to have put TWO members on a team with a known cop N2, and since most switchers can't self target, there was a 50/50 shot I get investigated and outed. It also makes the Gorlak kill make no sense. Also, why wouldn't I have submitted the Night kills instead of Mike after he got blocked the first time? Or just switched him while he put in the kill?
I'm not going to rehash it for Mazre, because the same reasoning applies in every case. Only real difference is I don't think he's played particularly helpful to town. Then again, I'm not sure if he has a role or anything, so there might be more going on behind the scenes.
Basically I think Mazre or I being switchers just doesn't make any sense. Godfather ER seems more likely.
Finally, could he have been converted? It's possible. Who had opportunities to target him after N2? Are any of them particularly sketchy? This seems like a stretch, but it's not impossible.
He's most likely just a very selfish, Town-Aligned, Sterling Archer.

I took off YesNo and Mike, and I also took off Hobo because there was only one other counterclaim for Pam. (Three would have been fun. Alas, it didn't happen.) I took off squidyj because of everything I said Day 6 - he took out Haly. Pure and simple.
If QB is telling the truth, then both Palmer and I are town/neutral, so probably not a threat to town. And if QB is telling the truth that also means that HE is neutral, and townish. So really, the only other person that hasn't been verified for this whole game is Septimus Prime. I think he's the final KGB agent. And even if he isn't, he's the most logical choice for tomorrow.
If QB isn't telling the truth, then both Palmer and I are suspect, still, but I think QB is more suspect because that kind of lie is more suspicious than "hasn't been cleared by the weak cop".
I can't comment on the likelihood of either scenario. I am too biased by my disbelief of the Honeypot stuff. I think that lynching QB is the safest way to get more information, but I also like playing with assumptions and would rather lynch Septimus Prime. If Septimus Prime doesn't flip red, then we should lynch QB to see if the assumptions I have made are good. And if Septimus flips ISIS and QB flips truthfully Roman, then we obviously have a godfather. I think that is our surest, most logical way to move forward.
QB, since you checked myself and palmer already, I would check squidyj just to satisfy Ezekel.
