I hate this, because us clearing ultrajay really comes down to whether the game rules allow a thing to happen (chat bomber working on scum)
Other than that, if the chat bombers met their victory on Night 4, who was the fourth victim?

Chat bombers only needed three to win... So ultrajay saying day 5 is when they were chat bombed does NOT clear them. It means that the chat bombers tried and failed to bomb someone day 4...

It's why I didn't post the theory in the thread, he could have faked it and gone on to victory as scum, it does make me want to see if the metal heroes breadcrumbed who they went after each day...
If we can identify their target for day 4, it may help clear things up...

Well, why did batsnacks suddenly act up at the end of D3?

Did they assume they were going to win that night, but then got blocked somehow?

Did they assume they were going to win that night, but then got blocked somehow? [br It's the only thing that makes sense. They acted the fool because they thought they had it figured out and we're going to win. No reason not to do so. It's the one piece of evidence we have that something stopped them from winning day 4 (which I guess is really the earliest, once they disrupt it counts not after the disrupt ends). Imagine their surprise when it didn't work but TWO of their targets claimed that they were bombed... Day 4 just got real... *cue badboysshitgotreal.gif

So it's Night 3 that something happens, right?
Night 1, they targeted Topo
Night 2, they targeted us - we tracked BooJay, no movement.
Day3, we reveal BooJay didn't move. Night 3, they should have won, but didn't - we targeted Ty4on, no movement.
Day 4, we don't reveal that we tracked someone. Night 4, they targeted BooJay
Day 5 starts, batmagnum win - three successful chatbombs

Well, what if they targeted Launch N3, and since they died, it didn't go through?

Look which of the pair it is... The one that hadnt posted a direct confrontation... Flame... NOT COPPA who had called out magnumboy specifically. I bet they were targeted. Magnum even mentions flame/coppa in his post before the vote. They targeted scum and scum didn't react to the chat bomb AND they didn't win...

If we can ACTUALLY clear ultrajay based on this, what does that do for us?
I mean is Kyanrute/retroid more scummy than ty4on/hobo? Sophia quoting does make me believe that she was town, but scum have quit and been swapped before...

well, hold on, the idea that they targeted coppaflame is interesting It's the first thing that leapt out at me. Coppa called out magnum but magnum didn't strike directly back, Batsnacks (who coppa specifically didn't want to deal with) then votes flame...

Unless they got some sort of notification? Or did they just plain figure it out? I mean they are pretty good scum hunters, they could have found that if it was bread crumbed...

and when CoppaFlame claimed to be the chat bombers, it was like....sort of accurate, but also not? And batsnack's reaction to the claim was
Something seems odd.
I mean, on one level, batsnacks is watching two players roleclaim their role (much like what we faced).
But then what's up with this line about "they are the doctor I guess"

There are aspects of the metal role PM and the scum role PM that are redacted, maybe it's in there? I mean, we had no trouble getting batsnacks and magnum on board with the coppa/flame vote.

Ok I've got to head to bed, I'll be back to its more in about 8 hours...
I think we aren't in danger of a turbo vote in that time frame...
I mean even if we can clear one other team somehow, it would be HUGE!

Flame's response to you:
So they are claiming that they alternated, and claim that BooJay got hit on N3. They are trying to confidently rely on the idea that scum can't get hit by the bomb, and by that token, condemn BooJay....but do they assume that, because it happened to them?
I also can't ignore how fake the accusation looks, as if they're already throwing the game, but trying to make BooJay look good by accusing them.

Let's just assume for now that BooJay is the safest of the three.

This is what blarg "said" about the three remaining teams:
7. [m] UltraJay x [m] Boo Boo'n — Torn on these two. Nothing they've said really stands out to me as either for or against Town in general. I don't know. They're kind of... safe? It's hard to describe how I feel about them.
10. [m] Retroid x [m] Kyanrute — Retroid's swathing inactivity is worrying, but his partner Kyanrute seems competent enough, and continues to carry the pair.
12. [f] Sophia [m] hobohodo x [m] Ty4on — Sophia, when she was here, was an able analyst of the topics at hand. Ty4on is similarly just as capable. There was a good vibe overall from both of them; now, I wonder how hobohodo will fare.
And for the record what they said about Coppa/Flame:
6. [m] Coppanuva x [m] Flame_AC — I don't know where their loyalties lie, nor their votes. Erratic posters who weave in and out of the discussion with seemingly good observations, but... I never know when they're going to pop up? They're like scavengers who notice everything and jump at opportunities.
He gives a good vibe to Ty4on's team and negative vibes to the other three (which include 1 confirmed scum on scum read).

kawl never did a big huge read list - but he did cover ultrajay and Coppa/Flame
UltraJay and Boo Boo'n-suspicious. Almost completely absent. (This goes for 2 or 3 other pairs which is a bit disturbing this late in the day). I see since I started putting together these post both have posted some, feelings remain the same. Staying out for so long doesn't sit well for me.
Coppanuva and Flame_AC - null. came out the gate pretty hot, reacted kind of strongly to the claims put forth, and have seemed to back off a little (Flame more than Coppa) after they got some heat put on them. Possible that they decided to take some of their initial discussion to lovers chat to avoid additional ire/showing cards (as I believe Gorlak and Launch have said to be doing). Null at this point.
Practically the same read on each,

The biggest hits to Ty4on's team is Day 2 voting (he voted with all the confirmed scum), and the lack of a vote day 4 when Coppa/Flame bought the farm. Hobo did not vote either day 2 or Day 4.
Kyanrute voted to evict scum both times we hit scum, but his partner did not either day. In fact Retroid did not vote at all those two days.
