What do you feel of the last minute changing of votes? Do you mean today or yesterday, luv? 2) Yesterday I'd chalk a good deal of it up to things moving so fast and folks getting lost in the shuffle but there are almost certainly rabble-rousers among the last-minute switchers who simply wanted to blend in with everyone else. I was unfortunately absent for most of that so it's harder for me to say in retrospect. 3) As for today, some of it is certainly suspicious. Ridli's given me no reason to trust anything he's said since the day began and yet people are still getting cold feet? It strikes me as certain individuals who were trying to throw their partner under the bus suddenly hitting reverse because they're seeing an opportunity to get someone else out instead. 4) Either way, I believe Ridli's flip will tell us quite a bit about where everyone stands, for better or for worse. 1: Good question. 2: I'm as lazy as you in not having done anything more indepth, but I think there is something back there in the voting record. I'd love to graph them out with time stamps to see where people were going. If anything it might clear someone up as town. 3: I dunno. Going in reverse sound incredibly stupid for scum to do. Ridli is being lynched today whether or not they want him to. 4: No speculation on it? What do you make of a last minute flip if ridli is town? |

VOTE: Ridliwhat a mess. I'm going to be very disappointed in you if/when you turn out to be town  I think rid has made a fucking mess for himself, a downright mess. I don't think there's scum there and I'm not going to hop in because you think I'm avoiding the subject, focusing on it is most likely a massive fucking mistake for town. Hopefully we don't lynch him today because there are better opportunities but I can see why some people might misinterpret what's going on as scum. Talking about rid is not useless like talking about the night deaths but if he's town it's very easy for scum to focus the discussion and make us as town waste a lot of time chasing our own tails. Also check up on your reading comprehension, what was a mistake was allowing ridli to dominate discussion, and it has continued to be a mistake but it's a mistake we seem determined to make, I would still rather lynch a dark horse candidate (IE Ty)than ridli but I'm not so endlessly naive as to believe that is going to happen and the way he has behaved since that post has pushed on the scales somewhat. I'd rather lynch Ty because he has this interesting habit of saying a lot of nothing, rehashing old information, and avoiding truly serious scrutiny. Are you going to vote for Ty? is sorian? is Cornb? no? then fuck off with your bullshit. Scum tho....... probably Bombarryl - I don't like his prickly demeanour, it feels like he just keeps trying to put us on the backfoot so that we don't look too closely at him. Ty4on CornB (potentially) - he could be a thing CrimsonFist - there's some similarity to Ty4on, there are actually a number of players like this but I'm prioritizing them on the basis of my gut, so sue me. |

If anyone is wondering how I went from that, to voting for Ridli, it is because I could not fathom that Splinter would reveal an entire role to someone before the game started. This made Ridli a psuedo-PR. Apologies for thinking a random ordinary town player would not be dealt extra information. Once he made that claim, I sincerely thought Ridli was trying to bullshit his way out of a lynch despite having claimed ordinary. Nothing really added up. But since my gut was right then, I'm going to trust it now. Vote: Czartim Also Sorian was ordinary? That's impossible. How is that possible Splinter? So your modkill was a joke? Sorian clearly had something early on, given the whole Splinter death thing (I don't believe that's coincidence), but it looks like it vanished now. Maybe something is messing up the role PMs, but I think powers are just a lot more fluid than traditionally. |
