It doesn't really help when we don't know anything about them. I'm sure some scum is in there just from blind odds but not knowing from such a large list makes this less than ideal.

This is not a terrible starting point. I know my allegiance, and people who are suspecting me are either 1) misreading or 2) scum nailing a future target. Both reasons are solid enough to warrant further investigation of the people involved.


I don't apologize for my zipped vote, if anything I feel justified further. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he seemed to have taken to heart the criticism of his play in Woof 2, but when he flipped I got real cross and steam started going out my ears. Not only was he town aligned, he was a lynch activated Bowie-killing townie. Nothing he did even hinted at this. Ty picked a sentence from one of his posts that was a reasonable stretch to make, and everything aside actually seemed to bait a lynch. I thought there was a chance he could be a jester as well as potentially scum, but his current phase behaviour was useless to us so I doubled down. When it came to this:



He had time to do a drive-by on me, no reason why he couldn't have quickly mentioned he'd expect to be away. I admit I was unsure if Splinter was being serious, but it's done now.

Frankly, if I'm more suspicious than the crowd that formed towards the end in order to 'break ties' then I have to question your thought process. I started yesterday with a detailed list of people who I'd consider voting for at day end. I stuck to one of my choices, and didn't change or ask everyone else to jump on the bandwagon with me. All other potential lynch candidates I did not want to kill D1, aside from roy who I was leaning a bit more town on as the day phase ended. It was a simple case of a weak scumread off of zipped and the fact he'd contributed very little to the day phase.

As well as the last of the people to swing to zipped, I'll also single out these:

Trigger
nin1000


The non-votes.

Blarg, nin, pop and Launch were all in FF.
Blarg was present and as Tim says essentially equated to nothing during D1.
Launch was completely absent for the day phase.
Pop was absent until the end then just threw a vote on Sorian for....lolz it seems. The problem was Sorian was in contention for lynch, so his drive by vote could have fucked some things.
nin was present most of the time, but inherently forgot to get back to this game when the deadline hit.
L_P and trigger haven't done much of anything and I'm not sure why.

The FF guys knew they were in two games upon signing up for this, so for that reason I don't feel like I should just grant them a free pass through D1, especially nin and Blarg who did actually post in the game.

You guys better step it up.

I expected you guys to get role PMs too from everyone else. It seems pretty clear that this is from Zipped's lynch. Fuck me if this trend continues.

Also, I wanted to say that the list had a lot of inactives so maybe it was the 9 lowest posters but that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't know, I don't want to assume it was RNG but that's possible.

I find it hard to believe that all those people died because of Zipped and none of it had to do with scum. Expanding on my comment about why I don't think we should assume RNG.

For the record I'm still going over some of the thread (you guys posted a LOT and I'm jetlagged), but not having roles is going to make this a lot harder. I'm going to assume (and hope) the volcano is random, given the massive number of deaths caused by it. Seems like it would be way overpowered if they were hand-picked (it also contains quite a few odd choices, with some obvious ones missing, if it were chosen by scum).
