I'm confused? How is playing against multiple scum factions an exercise in futility? The best source of information in this game is mafia deaths. With multiple mafia factions, you can no longer use that information reliably. All kinds of information is wasted. Their comment history.. their voting patterns. They all come into question. It's no longer fun at that point. You're not sherlock piecing a puzzle together anymore. You're waiting out the storm hoping someone trips up with a PR. And to this, two scum factions in a 31 person game would be about as big as we expect in a regular game. It is harder sure but the offset is that scum can hit each other. I wouldn't call it futile, we've seen expert town play beat this before. |

He went full Darryl with that drive by vote. You never go full Darryl. AT MOST you go 80 % Darryl. I think I've done a better job explaining my votes than the majority of the players in here. Your vote on Ridli was garbage. Uh, I'm pretty sure he was joking. Wanting to kill yourself after finding out the game you're playing in actually has two mafia factions is a relatable request from a town perspective that us real townies can sympathize with. Playing against two mafia teams is a huge exercise in futility. Whether or not it's "anti-town", who gives a fuck? It's a joke. It's not going to happen. This play-by-the-book stance makes it seem like you're digging through these archives to find points to raise (to appear town), rather than being a town player following his gut to find scum. Ridli is scummy in your accusation only in the scenario that you're scum trying to find a town player to call scum. Digging through earlier posts to get reads is a #scumtell now? Suuuuuuuuure. |

I never pushed anyone to say if they had the same feeling, Scrafty did that completely on her own accord. Also, scrafty already said at that point that she would be OK with dying, which is kind of a soft claim in itself. I would say being on GOAT with you helped me identify the difference. Towards the end of HP, there were definite scum tells, you sort of rested on your laurels and were uiet, not participating much, etc, semi hiding in background while being active all the same Don't get so caught up in other people's praise to assume there's isn't a difference there. |

The main thing is that I doubt two scum factions could win together, and Cthulhu taught us that the main thing about multiple scum factions is that while it makes the game harder overall for town, it also makes life harder for the mafia teams individually.
Hence my 5 scum, 2 scum, 1-2 neutral guess
It seem about right

Scrafty also brought it up iirc Yeah but Scrafty only mentioned it after roy brought it up. 1) Town Roy was being genuine and thought there was a narrative to the roles being handed out 2) Scum Roy thought this would be a useful thing to push to attract townies to agree/disagree and make a conclusion regarding their roles from this. The outcomes in my head just now. 2 is possible, but bold. Now they could have a large scum team, so this could pay off, but I don't know. It still feels like a bit ambitious for a day 1 act. |

Just a FYI to everyone: if I get lynched, defiantly look at the people that suddenly created a push against me, not necessarily the people that started it, but the people that were quick to jump on the bus. Also, don't put to much stock in Darryl sounding like he is 100 % sure i am scum and seeing that as a scumtell after I flip town. Darryl always does that shit, it's not a sign he is town or scum.
