BTW, it is good that this game ended now, because I was seriously getting burned out. My remark that I felt more like an instruction manual and messenger owl instead of a player playing mafia was the truth. And having to search through your posts for flips was quite annoying. The search system is also buggy and can make a random search page inaccessible until you make a new search. I was often on mobile during very active periodes, and keeping up with two threads and passing along information while on mobile was super frustrating.

So could scum have even won this? An eternally re-spawning volcano immune ghostbuster kind of makes it hard to kill everyone on the island.

After a point it felt like it settled into a surprisingly tame routine. It felt like there should really have been scum in the dead thread more of the time for most of our bestows to make sense. Scum really got destroyed early in this game Its just kind of limped along since they lost control of the afterlife on day 3 or whenever

I don't blame kitty for playing along but the game would have been so much more fun had he helped us out and not just always killed the new person.

So could scum have even won this? An eternally re-spawning volcano immune ghostbuster kind of makes it hard to kill everyone on the island. Ghostbuster was immune to the volcano eruption, so he could side with either team as in any game. I was hoping kk would be a little more scum-aligned but really it made too much sense for the ghostbuster to side with town - a design flaw

Lynching someone and then not seeing their flip is discouraging. I felt like I didn't have to try very hard.

Lynching someone and then not seeing their flip is discouraging. I felt like I didn't have to try very hard. You mean even after Roy claimed? Yea. Like there's no motive. I wanna be the one who is responsible for killing people. Instead it gets passed off for a third party to make the final judgement. It dilutes all the feelings of accomplishment. Like after Squidy flipped town, if I saw that, I might have been more encouraged to go back and make up for my mistakes. If I saw Coppa flip scum, I'd feel good and try harder now that I'm on a roll

Fair enough. I had intended the game to be difficult - for both sides - but nowhere near the levels of the first week.
I can see how the lack of proper flips would still be discouraging though. To be honest I probably wouldn't try this low-information style ever again, the cons far outweigh the pros

I just got to the part where ridli was Palmer lol Palmer asked if he could play anonymously, and I saw no reason not to allow it. At the time neither of us knew he would be scum, apparently that would have made a difference to him but not to me.

Thousand pardons for not being particularly active in the last stretch, luvs. With a new semester comes a new workload, especially in the first week.

Oh how did people find the short day phases? I thought it went actually ok, even in a larger (~20) game?
The short nights where definitely bad. Hard for everyone to get actions in and then for me to have the next day ready, also completely unforgiving to replacements. I think the 2/1 cycle was too relentless and probably partially responsible for the burnout

The first half of the day phase is usually pretty dead anyway, so I was interested in trying this (at 2/2) even before we got the crazy tight deadline.
