Oh, that makes sense, ok. About your theory, that's possible but risky. We've been theorizing that there are only 1 or 2 scum left? If one, your plan wouldn't make a lot of sense because they would have to wait for the afterlife to be basically empty. With two that is more possible, I suppose, but that's a big waiting game they are playing if so. They have to though. The way we banish here and use kitty, they can't survive in here. So they have to survive on the island, keep hidden and play the waiting game. True, I guess they are kind of stuck at this point. |

This isn't making Cabot look good at all but at the same time...why lie? The fact that he received a power was either going to be revealed here or by the huge amount of watching PRs in the main thread. We also haven't seen a Scum Bestow a PR so it's not like Cabot has some super evil power but something mundane like Switcher/Voyuer/Watcher. Why even lie about that??

Also, I agree, I don't think cabot would lie purposely about not receiving power which means he really didn't receive it. Now is that because of outside interference or does he have some odd role? When he shows up, can you ask him if he received anything last night?

We have you both down here now and as it stands if I had to choose between you and Terra then I would choose to kill you. I brought it up earlier but I'm comparing your play in night vale (and MGS actually) to play here and it seems so half hearted. IMO, the difference is that in both of those previous games, you were trying to solve who was scum and the half heartened-ness here is because you know already. Could it be RL stuff, could it be bad play because of game over exposure? Sure, but you have an inconsistency that I'm not seeing from Terra. Also, it seems that Terra is claiming to be a switcher who assigned things out so we can see where that thread goes as well. |

Fair enough, I'm not particularly interested in using the whole comparative playstyle thing, but if you insist... You should realize by now that I play to my role. MGS and NV I had powers to use. MGS I had to try not to be killed by anyone, that meant playing on a thin line of trying to be a candidate for being lynched vs not being lynched to maximize survival time. That meant I needed to be an active conversant (ultimately it failed because medium is a stupid role  ). NV I needed to get night-killed and couldn't get day lynched. That meant I needed town favor strong so that scum would kill me later in the game, so I went on a more proactive approach questioning anyone I could (attempting to draw aggro). Here? I was an ordinary (an ordinary trying to get caught up a day late, as well as RL stuff but I hate that defense). To me that means the best thing I can do (well normally, not here in Limboland) is get hit while someone else gets a little more knowledge to hopefully hit scum. If that means an early lynch during the day to prevent disaster? Sure. As for the Terra thread, that's a fair point. I'm not in any rush to end this day phase early, I wanna see where that goes. |
