The big month-long Metal Gear Solid Marathon on Twitch got me to finally go back to The Phantom Pain. However, my wife told me tonight that she's got the bug for some Phoenix Wright, so I'm willing to bet that a bunch of my free gaming time is about to move to playing that.

Any of you plan on getting No Man's Sky? It looked really nice, but then I did the mistake of reading the Steam comments. ( ._.) The game seems kinda pricey too.. hoping for a sale of some sort at least.

I'm glad we now know it's a game about gathering resources from every planet (à la Minecraft, The Long Dark) with cops watching your misbehaviors and NPCs to do trades. Until last week all I knew about it was "get your ship and fly around".
I'll grab that, but right now I'm planning on importing Rhythm Tengoku, Ace Attorney 4, Hotel Dusk and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan next month. After ~10 years I'll use my GBA SP one more time!

The general premise of exploring what may as well be an infinite universe seems like it could be really satisfying when you find unique planets that no-one else has ever seen. I was already willing to buy it if it was just exploration so everything they announced earlier this week makes it more appealing to me.

I made a magma moat that did not end in flooding the fortress with magma or a massive forest fire.

I don't but I've heard enough from RPS and Chris Delay from Introversion Software to know it's a mighty impressive game.

I've got the PS4 LE on pre-order. :D It reminds me a lot of early Minecraft where you get just enough to survive and then you just explore and look at everything. And given how big No Man's Sky is going to be this game is going to be my fix whenever video game wanderlust hits.

I have been playing Bravely Second. It's more or less just like Bravely Default, aka. good gameplay for most part. However I got bored of Default after 15 hours or so, and I'm now 10 hours in of Second, so I don't know how much longer my interest will keep up.

I updated my Nvidia drivers for The Division, and it broke my goddamn computer. Thank god for system restore. Maybe be careful about these new drivers from Nvidia, those of you who are planning to play the Division on PC.
EDIT: GAF is reporting that it's a problem with multi-monitor setups. I'm trying it now with only one monitor.

I have started to play Civilization V about a week ago. It is a lot of fun and way to addicting I still don't really have a good idea what I am doing, but I am starting to learn! Probably! Not really! Help, what are all these icons?!?!?!

Just finished Trials and Tribulations. ;____; (AA2 spoilers) One thing that bothered me in Justice For All is that none of the cases had much to do with the characters. Yeah, the last case brought back Will Powers and Wendy Oldbag but it was just another case; nothing changed in Phoenix, Maya, Miles, etc. If it weren't for Pearl, Franziska and De Killer I think my enjoyment with that game would be greatly lessened. (AA3 spoilers) Then I started playing this game. I was a little annoyed during the first case, thinking it was just an excuse to give the new players a tutorial, but slowly all the pieces came together and made the last case fantastic. All those characters who were once my rivals were now helping me to find Maya and the killer (including doing a fake trial on day 1 to delay the verdict), that small thing that I almost dismissed in the first case turned out to be a huge plot point, and all the Fey plotline that started in AA1 was brought to a close. I did not expect that switcheroo craziness; my assumptions were one after another made wrong until the very end! A super great ending to the trilogy, and now I kinda understand why AA4 presents me with completely new characters. I'll start that during the weekend.

Really liked the first one but I hear this one is even worse. Plus the guy who did the music didn't come back.

Trials and Tribulations And that first case in TT got you to play as Mia (I'd love to see a prequel where you play as her) and was really good for a tutorial case. It felt much longer and less predictable than case 1 usually is. The music also made everything seem much more serious www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2c-rfZ6uVE
