Undertale spoilers I'm forcing myself through the genocide route now, only just got through Papyrus but damn do they make you know that you are a monster I beat that boss just now after hours and hours of trying. Holy shit, the adrenaline rush, probably the hardest thing I've fought all year (I've played bloodborne, probably me just not remembering the difficulty well). Still though, I feel like an asshole but man if that wasn't a gratifying kill.

I'm still trying to kill Megatron.
He's fucking ludicrous.
I hate megatron for what he has done to me.jpg

Still grinding my way slowly through Bloodborne, but looking forward to the next chapter of the new King's Quest next week. Also, Xenoblade totally wasn't on my radar, but all the chatter about it on GAF is making me think that I should pick it up. Finally, all the omghype about Star Wars going on at Disneyland made me really want to buy Battlefront. I beat that boss just now after hours and hours of trying. Holy shit, the adrenaline rush, probably the hardest thing I've fought all year (I've played bloodborne, probably me just not remembering the difficulty well). Still though, I feel like an asshole but man if that wasn't a gratifying kill. I couldn't bring myself to do a genocide run. I love these characters too much. I watched one on youtube, though, with a female LPer with a really adorable high-pitched voice. It was extra funny when she would get frustrated and start cursing at the game. LilyPichu plays Undertale - Genocide Run(This is totally what Yeeny sounds like in my head now, BTW.)

Originally, I wasn't going to do a genocide run because I really do love the characters but that last fight looked amazing from what I had seen and I wanted the personal challenge. I did some things I regret but from a gaming standpoint, I very much appreciated the bullet hell challenge. Lots of frustration but the rush when I finally got it was awesome.

I've started on hard mode with Transformers which may have been a mistake.
As for Bayonetta, it was mostly bronze with the old silver/platinum. The odd stone too.

Started Xenoblade X last night. The overworld looks pretty amazing, though some of the graphics are kind of meh. The combat tutorial wasn't very helpful and it took me awhile before figuring out how to use/toggle Arts. Died against a Level 5 creature. How do you revive your party?
NNID is socialcocoon. I'll add some of you later.

I still can't decide if I want to pick up Xenoblade. Everything I've heard sounds amazing, but I don't like it when single player RPGs pretend to be MMOs.

-Playing a lot of fallout 4, its good, maybe even great, but there are some things about it I dislike. - Still slowly making my way through tales of the borderlands, is still a great game. - Finally being able to play shadow complex now that it is available on pc and having a blast. I love metroidvania games! (If you haven't yet: play Ori and the blind forest, it is FANTASTIC).

I finished a couple of games recently so I thought I would write up something for them.
- I got the second ending of Undertale and that game is pretty good. It's not the life changing experience that some people have described it as but I've enjoyed my time with it so far. I've still got the
genocide route to do then I'm done. I don't plan to go for the more convoluted endings. Thanks again to Retro for gifting it to me.
- I also finished Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter and that is maybe the best game I've played this year. The localization is really well done and the gradual escalation of the plot over the course of both games is really satisfying. It can be slow going at times so when it does pick up it's great. Now to wait until Trails of Cold Steel comes out in Europe next month.

I'm been playing Final Fantasy 6 (as I've talked about,) and also dug into the second episode of King's Quest 2015, which is really good. The first episode is free on PSN (and I think XBL?) this month, and if you've ever been a fan of old school adventure games, I definitely recommend picking it up. It's way better than a lot of the stuff Telltale's put out lately. (Although I did like Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands.)

Finished Chapter 4 in Xenoblade X. Starting to get the hang of the battle system. Inventory management, stats, and upgrades are still baffling but thankfully there's a 999 item limit.
The scenery is really quite amazing at times. Sometimes I have to stop, hide all the UI elements, and take screenshots.
Taking down a Tyrant is so satisfying. I like how the music changes when you start fighting one. The rapping is out of place but it just adds to the quirkiness of the game.
I also figured out how to revive: walk up to someone and press A. I think you need to sheath your weapon first by pressing B.
And it's not really MMO'ish in terms of fetch quests galore. One thing I like about it compared to say, Dragon Age Inquisition (which got a lot of MMO criticisms) is how everything is FAST. You run fast. You can jump really high to traverse rocks and stuff. You take no fall damage. Collectibles all look the same and you just run close by to grab them. The only other interactable elements in the overworld are probes you plant (once), items you scan by button-mashing, and places to change the time (there are probably more but I'm early into the game). The weather and passage of time are really nice: I took screenshots of a meteor shower. Things are even going to be faster when you get a mech.

I just completed assassin's Creed: syndicate. It was pretty good! Definitely a lot better then unity. Seems a lot more focused and has less, but better content.

I'm back on Bloodborne again, although this time I'm actually progressing. Since I picked it up again, I've beaten the Blood-starved Beast, Vicar Amelia, The Witches of Hemwick, The Shadows of Yarnham, and the Darkbeast Paarl. (It probably says something that I can remember each of those in order, but I'm not sure what.) I'm trying to finish Cainhurst Castle before I go fight Rom, but Martyr Logarius keeps kicking my ass, so I'm taking some time to level up a bunch of my weapons and stats before I try him again.

I want to play Bloodborne again (with expac this time) but I've been kind of unmotivated due to a HDD mishap that deleted my completed save file and my ps plus storage had been full and was not uploading my saves :/
PS Plus issue rectified now but still

All you guys playing bloodborne, not afraid you will be burned out when Dark souls III comes out? Nah, this is the first one I've ever been able to get into (I tried Dark Souls 1 and I just couldn't get into it at all). I still dunno if I'll even pick up DS3 at launch.

I enjoyed Demon's Souls, and enjoyed what I played of Dark Souls (wasn't much)
I've began Bloodborne. That's all I can say.
