Lol fire. I was going to pretend game 1 was a failed holo deck experiment in star trek. Thus game 2 was going to be semi famous maybe werewolf related bullshit

As a trade, I did tell you there are probably no switchers either. After looking into the Harry Potter thread briefly, thank god for that.

Maybe your best bet would be to say that you're a newbie and freaked out, which is what happened, honestly. Say you're just a bad player who's not entirely sure of how to play, that you don't want to make town waste a day lynching you instead of actually hunting scum, and that you're willing to try and start again.
Appear weak and vulnerable. It's way better than mounting a "hostile" defense at this point because that's now how you've been looking.
Those are my 2 cents. Maybe wait for advice from the others, but that's what I think I'd do. Just keep in mind in the future that we're here and you can ask our opinions on anything before posting if needed.

I used this excuse during Gafia already, and they barely believed it. I'm WAY more suspicious this game, and I'm actually scum.

My more serious advice would be to play up being busy and preoccupied with thanksgiving, and not really having time to focus on the game, on top of what fireblend just said.

Appear honest and fight til the end, at least you won't look that bad if you do end up getting lynched. Honestly, we're only at the beginning of the day. Enough things can happen that could make people change their votes, unless you give them reason to keep them on you. There's only like 4 of them so far, this is a 28 player game. You can totally turn this around, you don't even have to appear that desperate. Give the impression that you're willing to "learn from them" and say that lynching you is the same as giving scum a free day and that you would feel terribly if that's what ended up happening.

And yeah if you end up offering reads or your take on anything don't bus any of us in an attempt to garner good will. You're not in a super great position, obviously.

I think also to play up the "pressured" part that someone else brought up. You felt pressured to make a vote because you weren't sure how available you would be during the weekend, and you didn't like how Darryl played last game. Basically, make it seem like your vote was for a personal reason and then say you won't do that anymore.

Just relax. There is plenty of time to get one of the sleepwalkers lynched instead.

Who do you guys think would be a good night kill target? cabot? Or should we ace a random and hope whomever killed Terra gets got?

Post by crimsonfist on Dec 1, 2015 15:16:38 GMT -8
Cabot, there's a good chance he's the doctor, and he's been leading discussions a lot, which should give us a good motive and conceal the possibility that we knew he was a doctor.

If you're about to get lynched with a couple hours on the clock, you could claim one-shot vigilante. Come up with a reason for why you killed Terrabyte. Maybe you get spared for a day or somebody claims to contradict you. Do not consider doing this unless it is almost the deadline.
