In principle we aren't a real PR anymore because we have no shots left. If we say that we aren't worse to lynch than Vanilla. If we don't we have a lot of explaining to do as to why nobody is silenced D4.
That's probably the only point we need to discuss. I unfortunately didn’t think of breadcrumbing the targets beforehand and we can't predict future targets. We have no proof except the lack of counter claims.
Actually, something I just thought of: Both Kark and Xbro were incredibly quick to claim that they were silenced. Xbro also started saying they were silenced for the day, then Kark swung in to correct to "day AND night". We don't know how much info Scum gets when silenced so if Ouro flips Scum Kark goes up in my Scum list. Sharing this thought and discussing our "results" in general is the only good reason for claiming. I mean, we could anyway just to come clear but it doesn't really matter, I think?

Oh, also as I said here before you joined: I will be at a festival Wednesday till Saturday. I don't think I will bother to check GAF a lot during that time. D4 will go until Sunday evening if there isn't a turbo happening today or tomorrow. I don't know how much time I will have on Sunday yet.
Do you want me to ask for a replacement or is it fine? Should I ask the thread what they prefer, especially because we seem to be a prime lynch target tomorrow?

It's fine by ME - you carried the boat for so long and so I don't mind carrying it a bit (yay festival) but maybe you should ask. I would prefer to keep you though, myself. You'd just have to trust me to keep us alive!
Otherwise, I agree - if attention swings to us, claiming for transparency will help. I wasn't here to breadcrumb choices but I did try to fish Schmuffin to see if their chat was silenced, so we have that. Good point about Kark.

So, I might have an idea. We could ask Ouro questions about the silence. Like:
- Are you silenced in the night?
- If yes, how are you going to decide about your next message?
This way we at least have shown forward knowledge about our role that we can use D4 to prove that we're the silencers. And the pattern of the silencer strongly indicates that they're Town as especially Sorian indicated. That could be good. And as a Bonus, Ouro could slip up.

I mean, if Ouro flips Scum and we can convince them we're the silencers we're basically confirmed Town, right? All we have to do is to drop some insider knowledge before Kark or Ouro reveal it.

Not everyone is convinced the silencer is a town move, but if scum has a hooker and had fepsune, it seems unlikely that the silencer would be the third. Go for it but I'd be careful - asking questions and then claiming may make it look like we're fake claiming based on the questions we ask. I fished rachors about their chat, too, hoping to see if they were silenced.

So I've been rethinking Ty. Trigger's weird engagement (or lack of) with the game is pricking my suspicion radar - from half his posts, it seems like he's relying more on chat than on the game thread and Ty has literally spoken for him a couple times. I thought Ty was weird at first but his continual vote on fepsune made me not suspect him and place him has top town. But has he really BEEN top town? After the Ouro flip I may really look at him.

Well, if we don't, I have to lie right my now that my "theory" was that PRs get only blocked during the night in order to coordinate their target. You would have to redact that tomorrow with the truth. It also looks incredibly scummy if I just don't follow up on it. Whatever you think you can deal best with. You know what? Fuck it. Let's do this earlier than absolutely needed (partly because monkey says she prefers it over going through with the original plan if she's alone tomorrow)

But that's a cover-up job. Let me get a bit into the backstory here:
We're going to be on the chopping block tomorrow. Hard. So at some point we will likely claim our PR (Silencers), because our choice of targets aligns consistently with Town's goals. This is especially obvious if Ouro flips Scum. We would never silence our own team. So the challenge now is to convince you that we actually are the silencers. There's a good chance "no counterclaim" isn't evidence enough because somebody says "If you are the silencer, don't counterclaim". Been there, done that. So what we need is some hard evidence. Unfortunately I suck at PRing and didn't breadcrumb my targets beforehand. So the only thing that was left is not yet public information about the details of our role.
Scum is blocked only during the day, Town also during the night. If the team blocked is a PR, one partner (chosen at random according to Burn in our chat) gets to decide everything, the other is left out. I originally intended to use this as some kind of cop because Scum would have no clue Town was blocked during the night, right? Wrong. After somebody said something about it in the thread (I don't remember who) I asked Burb what message Scum receives when they're targeted. Burb did not outright say if Scum gets informed about what would happen if they were Town but pointed out that the design sheet for love boat 1 for that case stated that they would receive information about it. Make of that whatever you want.
So in this conversation with Ouro, I implied I knew Scum only gets blocked during the day and I proved that I know that only one partner gets to take action in case that they are a Town PR.
I also can tell you right now that nobody will be silenced tomorrow.

welp, that was unexpected. And also very unfortunate because your efforts in regards to fishing were for nothing  Sorry for not coordinating with you in here, it was difficult enough to keep track on one thread. I'm not sure how to read the mood regarding us. Ouro flipping Town surely didn't help things. At least now it's 100% we are the silencers. It's just a matter of convincing them of the alignment now. |

So I will probably start on the new day by answering Ty's snarky "I didn't actually ask you" post - it really doesn't matter in cases of evidence and it was me who raised the point in the first place. What's he have to hide?
Also his whole "monkey has an agenda" thing has been bugging me. Of course I have an agenda. MY AGENDA IS TO FIND SCUM.
I will also use this to look at Sorian and Sawneeks simply because Ouro was so suspicious of them.
