He could just be an alignment cop and know you're a neutral. Seems real ballsy to throw it out there unless he thinks he's playing fifth dimensional chess. Alignment cops don't get neutral reads. They either get town/ not town or mafia/ not mafia Thread turned into a hilarious shit show lol Pretty sure the one in...Zelda? did. That or everyone in the spec thread was greatly misinformed. |

I just recall lots of talk about how Splinter was telling everyone he got town on nin when he got neutral and people in the spec thread explaining that it was because lynching the neutral didn't save town in that instance. Also what's going on with AB exactly?

I think AB is a weak cop by the way. They are kind of vague, sometimes they only die if they target scum, sometimes if they target anyone but town.
Or boring answer and he is just a watcher.

I gave Fran some of my patented snark too I worry about doing someone too obvious since they might just get lynched tomorrow anyway. It's really almost a crap shoot. The inactive are scummy for being inactive, Faddy is scummy, Mazre with that SK call out was weird etc. I guess Star subbing out really is one of the bigger things so looping back around, CCS isn't a bad call lol. Also, you're probably still fine, Faddy still seems to be the only one that cares. |

Yeah but town is so fickle. Between that and Worm's dying words I may be in for an exasperating day. I'm still inclined to think Faddy may just be the one putting out curses. In PR madness it seems too weak for a scum role. I could do nudull as well. Seems like a bad idea to target any of the people dropping claims.

I completely forgot nudull claimed, nevermind lol Could be, but if he was fishing that hard I'm not sure how good of an idea it is to target him tonight. CCS or batsnacks seem like our best choices though unless we just take a complete shot in the dark with whoever replaces MickD.

Get in there, control flow, get some town reads, bail out and let other people fight. He could just easily be town too which is why it's more murky. The play today is what weirded me out more. Like I mentioned when he first did it, it's super common in other mafia communities to talk like that (you're lucky I didn't shoot you last night just meaning if I were a big, I would have shot you) but obviously our meta doesn't play like that. Bats does play mafia in other places I think but I don't recall him ever doing that here. It also felt like he doubled down on it after people were obviously confused. I doubt he was fishing to be targeted specifically. My thought process is that maybe scum Batman gets a prize for finding me since we're neutral but provide no utility to scum, on the surface, considering we win by finding and killing scum. Bats being an experienced player, maybe he went out of his way to fish for himself or a teammate. I'd say the biggest con to targeting him is that if he is town, he has a high chance of dying tonight anyway. It's him or Nudull. |

I could see that I suppose. Hmm, that would be a bold gambit for scum so early, but it could happen. I'm fine with either. I could see them both being scum just not sure which is more likely to be Robin.

I can't really glean anything about a robin role. He could really be anything and the only real hint I've seen is maybe a role cop (Mazre). The correct play here is probably just to be "safe" and make sure we are tagging scum and hope that Robin was the one making himself obvious. Which would mean CCS.
