Blarg isn't going anywhere for a long time mates. That's what I call expert misdirection.

Do most games with Blarg involve players debating whether they should lynch him immediately or not?

Do most games with Blarg involve players debating whether they should lynch him immediately or not? It's been happening a lot lately. He jokes around and does stuff like this regardless of his alignment so it becomes 'I can't read him so can we just lynch him so he isn't distracting?'. Which in turn people find Scummy for suggesting that kinda thing and said person gets lynched instead of Blarg. And then you just rinse and repeat this until Blarg does eventually get lynched.

I mean, I'm partial to leaving a scum blarg in the game so he can hamstring his own team with unnecessary gambits involving no kills....
no i'm not still triggered, why do you ask

I normally find Blarg readable, but obviously I can't read anything when he's posting the same thing over and over.

Hey Kawl isn't your favorite move in Pokemon games Hydro Canon? :p

Ignoring the move that got you and Blarg together? You're going to break his heart, he brought you up all the time in Pokemon Mafia. :'(

So what Kark is really saying is he has a forbidden action that fits into one of those two categories (and that he believes Faddy's supposed forbidden action is bull.)

Understandably, too. Losing because of actions you can't control sucks.
Although this *IS* a bastard game so..

Do most games with Blarg involve players debating whether they should lynch him immediately or not? Pretty much. Blarg has a history and a reputation. By day two there's usually a pretty serious discussion about getting rid of him. Blarg dances to his own tune, and it's very often one that no one but him can hear. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's frustrating for others. Also what Sawneeks said. If you want some classic Blarg, go read Star Wars Mafia or Call of Cthulu Mafia. I normally find Blarg readable, but obviously I can't read anything when he's posting the same thing over and over. I've gotten pretty good at reading him. The trick is that Scum!Blarg's madness feels way more manufactured. I don't know how to describe it better than that. But yeah, it's rough when he doesn't give you much to go on.

Scum!Blarg also tends to be less...structured in how he acts. Lots of posts and silly antics but he doesn't have an overall narrative he's working towards. He just sort of reacts to the moment and doesn't really push discussion forward.
Town!Blarg looks the same but he will go after people and question those he doesn't trust in between all the jokes. And he will also keep up with those questions instead of letting them drop and fade away.
At least that's how I've seen it with the few times I've played with him. I know he does change it up to keep people on their toes though. :p

Real Talk: The "out of player's control" forbidden actions would have gone down to the category of "is fun for the mod and the spectators, but not fun for the players themselves". At the end of day, the game has to be fun for the players, not the people who know everything that's happening, aka. the outsiders of the game.

Natiko has picked up GAFia meta oh so well.
I feel almost kind of proud that not only was Persona his first game, but he won it too...

I don't read the thread for a day and Terra is offering to suicide or get lynched? What happened??? Think the bandwagon mostly picked up due to him being over defensive. He's really borderline with his FA though, this post: www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=229886835&postcount=848 might be crossing it, and kind of tempted to kill him for it.

Ah, poor Terra. He didn't seem that bad earlier but maybe it got a little worse as things went on... Can he not directly hint that he has a PR or can he not hint at what his PR is specifically?

Ah, poor Terra. He didn't seem that bad earlier but maybe it got a little worse as things went on... Can he not directly hint that he has a PR or can he not hint at what his PR is specifically? Exact wording is: Your forbidden action is Role claiming in any capacity. This includes directly claiming, or strongly implying or hinting at your role. If you are uncertain as to whether something would be acceptable, PM a mod before posting.
So he can't claim any sort of PR.

So he can't claim any sort of PR. Yeah, that post is really pushing it then...
But wouldn't claiming that he can't roleclaim as part of his FA be breaking that? Why would an Ordinary not be able to roleclaim, sounds like something much more applicable to a PR.

He ran that one past me via PM. Technically vanilla town is a role claim too, so still borderline, but it doesn't have to be a power role.

Hahahaha, Terra must be really frustrated at this point since there's little to nothing he can do at this point except try and deflect.
The irony is going to hurt for town
