Oops, oh well, too late to change it now and people have largely not commented on it  Basically the suggestion was that, since it would benefit scum for us to win and leave the game, if you or Faddy are turned scum and you discover who has the keycard, since you'll presumably have lost access to this chat you can mark who has their card by replying to one of their comments using a specific word or phrase. |

In terms of probe, maybe which of Natiko and Saw doesn't get director? Since they'll probably be around for a while since they're both well trusted. |

Hard to get a good read since it's D1. Even without the prospect of death today, most players are playing fairly normally.

searching through the game thread
franconp has mentioned neutrals twice.
Once in relation to thinking Kark is a neutral and once when try to work out vote counts.
Both not far fetched but I think that makes him a steal target for night 1.

This is my game read so far
We should be thinking about what role the passcard holder would have. They probably have investigation powers since story wise they can go anywhere in the facility with the card AND I'm still of the mind there is a neutral out there who has the objective to hunt us down and kill us.
I think these people are the same person.
And I think they are probably unkillable and Dusk Soldier is bluffing us with the ability to search corpses.
I think Kark has overplayed his unkillable ability to bluff as infected. Similar to CCS in that he feels like playing about on day 1 since his win condition isn't about stopping the infection
So I said franconp as the steal for night 1 but Kark is a strong contender as well.

I'm putting this all down because if it hits it is the GREATEST READ EVER.
this is what I think Kark's role sheet says
Undercover Spy/ Janitor
Description
You are a spy posing as a janitor to hunt down mutants
Alignment
You are aligned to your government
Goal
Hunt down mutants and their allies in the Lakeshore Facility and escape without being infected
Abilities
While free from infection you are unkillable
Powers
Every night you can use your pass card to move through the facility and investigate someone. You can also incinerate someone every night but if the infection is stopped before you finish your job you fail. You lose these powers if you are infected.
So Kark's play claiming infected is that he has almost no blowback. The real infected will probably leave him alone which stops him failing by being infected. He helps the infected side and prolongs the game by making town hit him instead of a killable target. Plus he starts huge discussion and can try and get some reads on us.

I want to bait Kark so bad.
His latest posts make me feel even better
He is talking about multiple players when he also implies it is only one scum meaning he thinks he got CCS (and maybe even me as well since I was first on the Natiko wagon). This tells me he was actively looking for neutrals.
I think we have him and I don't think there is anything he can do since L_P is going to steal his passcard and that can't be blocked. Our steal should be top priority after blocks and protects
I'm going to look like an idiot when this is all wrong

I mean it is a pretty lame mechanic if all we had to do is make a random guess every night, that there was no threat or no consequences. So from a balance stand point it makes sense something has the goal to kill us and the more I think about CCS's role it makes it more clear that he has to be killed by a hitman (or whatever the mafia term is for a neutral killer is) Kark didn't think about what the counter balance to his power would be. Perhaps he doesn't even think about the pass cards importance because he only needs that to investigate and doing that would stop him using his kill command. ---- reading the lists in the thread and they have my number. Noob posts, overly open, lots of speculation Sawneeks even caught me posting about items, although I think there is more than the pass card in the game, definitely a flag against me. the only thing I'm worried about now is getting targeted for infection. |

dusksoldier already said our steal goes before the mafia kill. I'm no expert but don't mafia kills normally go before neutral kills? You can still get out CCS.
Either way you are out of the game and it would be stupid to reward Kark with a kill for playing so loosely.

I think he is laying plans to kill you then reveal his true role where he can investigate and kill. Claim neutral but will use his powers to help town.
