It's all good, it's day 1. I'm usually a quiet D1 poster followed by more action D2+. I was actually going to try to be more active this game myself, but given I rolled scum I don't want to make too drastic a change at this point.
I'm running into the same issue, lol. I'm usually a low activity poster and was hoping to change things up this game, but now I'm worried it would be too noticeable.
It's still early in the game, so I think you should be alright acohrs. Hopefully before day end someone will say the wrong thing and all attention will go to them.
You're fine. Just don't respond to every single post in which someone mentions you. It makes you look overly defensive. Imagine you were not scum in this game and you posted the same things. Go from there. There's still plenty of time to go before final voting.
Edit: sorry phrased that wrongly, meant to say what's the plan for the rest of you? Keep a low profile for now and start participating later? Do you think that might be suspicious to some of the more veteran players?
I've been a bit distracted this weekend, unfortunately, but I've been keeping up on the thread. I'm hoping to start working on a larger reads list later this evening. While I'm doing that, I'll try to pay a bit more attention for anything that might point to role breadcrumbing. Might give us a clue on who to block tonight.
No worries man, haha think I've responded enough for this team and more. I will say, if it looks likely that I'm going to be lynched, make sure to be an early lyncher. That will buy you some trust for a while i think, one of the more experienced players can say whether that's a bad idea or not but it makes sense to me.
Weekends are really, really busy for me. As crazy as it sounds, I should have more time tomorrow since I will be in the office instead of at home. Completely backwards, I know, but life is crazy lately.
K, got something up. I'm not sure if this will come into play at all, but I tried leaving a breadcrumb that I'm a Weak Cop. ("I'm a weak player, especially day one") If this comes up, we can explain my not being night killed by always hitting town. If anyone tracks me while I roleblock, they'll see who I visited (and since I won't be roleblocking you guys, it's almost guaranteed I'll visit town anyway.)
This kind of depends on there not already being a Weak Cop, but after a couple days I can "come clean" and announce that I checked some of you and that you're town.
I kind of want to see if we can get a CCS vote going based on your exchanges with him Acohrs, but I am afraid if I forced the issue that the vote would swing your way instead of his. Between his following up your "Pineapple on Pizza" hijack and the rugby thing, I think if we can get his town flip it might help. Hard part is getting the swing I guess.
Well, I can't force it either as then that would be just me detracting from my own suspicion. I also don't think we have another active enough voice here that will convince the others, so it would be safer if you all just play it safe.
Wow CCS unknowingly again being the best honorary scummie. Damn feel like I should get them to lynch me instead
You should absolutely not do that. I am going to try to subtly create a narrative that being Links rival is scummy. If asked, and I will not be the one to ask, claim Red Link. I am hoping there are other colored Links in the game who will see a red link claim and be swayed a little bit. Maybe, just maybe we can still get you out of this.
I am trying to avoid being directly responsible for getting the narrative going though.
I'll be posting a vote for CCS in about 20 minutes once I'm out of work. My reasoning will be that his recent shenanigans have been anti town and at least town should be in a better spot without the distraction.
Wanted to get this in here in case you have a better idea, lol.
It might serve us better to put our votes somewhere else honestly, if you see this before you vote. When CCS flips town, eyes will fall on those who voted for him. If our votes are on other close vote leaders it may work better in the long run. I'll probably put a vote down on Ty4on.
