So how much rope do I give the lynch mob before dropping truth bombs?

well, didn't receive no glorious relief PM last Night
I guess there's no [competent] Poison Doctor then
Whatever hit me was probably a 1-shot then
Today's our last Day on this immortal coil then
GG Mazre then

So how much rope do I give the lynch mob before dropping truth bombs? naahhhh, it's too early in the Day for the truth. IMO, we might as well fuck with them a bit. I'll be Juliet, you be Romeo, k? If anything can get this aggro off our backs, it's Shakespeare roleplay, Mazre balcony scene, Mazre balcony scene Mazre I flirt, you smile, yeah WE'RE A TEAM

In times like these, I ask myself: Should we have used my Roleblocks more instead of Mazre's Redirects?
The answer, dear audience-who-I-know-is-totally-somewhere, is a resounding NO
Redirection is a FAR better, more utilitarian Power than Roleblocking.
While yes, of course, in successfully Roleblocking the killer or Redirecting the killer to your target-of-choice, both outcomes supply you with the identity of said killer; however, I BELIEVE it is vastly more preferable to have the off-chance of making the Mafia kill one of their own via the latter, as opposed to having a deathless Night via the former
risk, reward etc.
anyway, back to coping with the inevitability of death

I mean, like, you don't literally have to do what I say, Mazre
I will literally allow you to literally improvise
In the end, the points don't really matter

E U R E K A
I'm going to frame someone for last Night's NK by saying I redirected them to Swamped last Night
Believable as I have established motive to have done so in my prior statements of suspicion of her as Mafia the past Day(s). I could twist a scapegoat line towards this end too, I guess

okay, upon further reflection, I have come to the definitive conclusion that it's probably a Bad idea
said plan involved calling another player out and claiming that they were my sis Therese, not you my dearest Mazre
thoughtful extrapolation of plan's generated scenarios leads to Bad times for me and what's left of my credibility
will not do

okay, I'm calling you out as my sis in-thread, Mazre, get in there

You know, it just occurred to me that I never asked El Topo if you, Mazre, would perish from the Poison along with me
What if all this Poison does, is erase me from this body of ours and leave you in charge, Mazre?
If only I die Today, then after this joint-claim of ours Mafia'll pick you off easy Tonight
oh well

Leaving this here for posterity: Blargonaut almost said:" Your Plan of City's Last Hope:This is it. I don't trust any of you "Town" voters to be able to lynch a Mafia Today.
Not only are the odds of hitting a Mafia against us, but with no actionable intel from any other Town PRs besides me and Mazre's 3 Nights of player Redirects (which confirm that bats and Trigger weren't killers on N1 and N3 respectively), we've also all been operating in complete info darkness.
So, I'm saying this now with the assumption that at the end of Today, in all possible timelines, Town's gonna fuck it up by lynching another Town... thereby launching the remnants of Town into LYLO Tomorrow. Like it or not, LYLO Tomorrow is the outcome of greatest likelihood after Today. This is not being grim, this is being realistic.
However, we can choose to mitigate this inevitable damage and give us the best chances of Turning this Undead in Town's favour Tomorrow, if we do exactly as I say below:
[*]The real Town Investigator MUST claim and reveal themselves Today, and publicly state their Investigation results for the past N1, N2 and N3. [*]Then, we must LYNCH the Town Investigator, Today. [*]This way, by flipping them: - By killing the real Investigator right now, we will confirm without a doubt that the Town Investigator really is who they say they are, therefore we can absolutely trust their stated results. - By killing the real Investigator right now, we will have prevented the Mafia from faking one of themselves as the Town Investigator Tomorrow (because game balance-wise, a game usually never has 2 Town Investigators), thereby preventing the most dangerous, fatal-to-Town Mafia ploy from happening during Tomorrow's LYLO.
I don't want you to panic and go all 'WTFFFFF BLARG FUCK YOU'-reactive about what I'm saying here. Think about this.
Consider that Tomorrow will highly likely be LYLO. Consider what Mafia will do during LYLO to win. Consider how the currently still-living Town Investigator and their claim's credibility will factor when in a LYLO situation.
If you consider all three of these factors together... you would come to the same conclusion. I'm sorry. If we want the best shot at Town winning, we have to do this Today.
Town Investigator, please come forward and state your results for N1, N2 and N3. Then, we must lynch you.
You'll be a hero, but you'll have to leave."
