like it is all fine and then you make that one lil mistake what kinda can be read as a scum thing to say
and you fix it and it looks all believable and it should not be a problem at all
but the scum nerves are tingling and waiting and waiting for the megapost that accuses you for being a baddie followed by thousands of mmhmm he makes a good case vote: scums posts and the day ends in your death
scum stress funfun

I'm claiming neutral today if I have to, hopefully it will entice people enough to not want to lynch me

neutral claim is a quick way to die at least, since it is 2nd on the list of preferred targets for town to kill. if it comes to claiming, you should just make up a role or claim ordinary town. neutrals begging for a chance at life rarely works.

Well I was thinking a spy of some kind? I mean I know we have one so town may have one too.

A spy feels like a scum only gimmick to me. We know our friends, so a friend we do not know of is something special, it is the reverse. Town does not know their friends and the reverse of that would be a friend they know of aka. a innocent child or a celebrity whose alignment is made public on command. Since you are an ordinary, you need a fake role that cannot do anything. The thing with those is that you then have no way to prove you are what you claim and you get lynched anyway.
The way I see this is that if you come under fire today, the best option would be to softclaim an investigative role of sorts. If you just promise results tomorrow, you will get an additional day and on the next day can just make shit up and die. An additional option would be to claim a counter to our roles, not to survive per se, but to draw out the real ones. Something to counter our tracker or uberkill.

Hm okay. I'll sleep on it

and there is still two days to this day so while the scum nerves are as annoying as they are, there is no need to react for now

timeaisis yawns a lot so if there is a sleepwalker in the game to counter the tracker... Oh thanks for bringing that up, I was wondering if there was a way to be "caught" tracking. Two questions: 1. If I'm caught tracking, can I still be town? I'm assuming there are town trackers. 2. Does the sleepwalker role generally see "ANYTHING" that happens in one night of their choice, or do it every night but it has to be targeted?

It's cool I expected you to, honestly. <3 I'm going to keep on you for a little bit longer, because I think votes are going to coalesce around MattyG or Dusk. Honestly I'm trying to get a little heat because I don't want to be considered as tunneling Day 1. I don't think I'll get enough to get voted Day 1 but I don't want my name to get brought up later like it's some big revelation for everyone.

Have we considered he's our spy? There's no way in hell he coincidentally picked out 3/4 of the scum team

Ouro claims my first vote for Stackpole was "under the guise of 'randomness'" despite the fact that, 1, I never used the word "randomness" that he's quoting me for, and 2, I gave two reasons why I voted for her.
I'm tempted to hit back but I have a feeling I'm being baited. On the other hand, if I don't respond I feel like he'll take that as a signal that I'm scum because I'm trying not to rock the boat.
Decisions, decisions...

Oh shit dragonz, I'd totally forgotten about the spy
But the spy doesn't know who we are, does he? Or is it a thing where he knows us be we don't know him?

Wait, spy knows who we are, I confirmed that first page.
Good thinkin' dragonz.

Don't respond. It's a weak read at best.
He may be signaling; the Kyan read is strange considering he hasn't been in the thread recently and should've been forgotten about

Kyan would probably be the best person to answer; I'm not really sure on both fronts :/

While I like the spy idea, that list is pretty blatant. If he died, suddenly that list would become suspect.

Then we should NK splinter and see if Ouro offers anything else day 2

If I'm caught tracking, can I still be town? I'm assuming there are town trackers. 2. Does the sleepwalker role generally see "ANYTHING" that happens in one night of their choice, or do it every night but it has to be targeted? 1. It depends what role catches you. The Tracker learns who a player targeted, but not what action that player performed. The Follower learns what action a player performed, but not who that player targeted. The Watcher learns who targeted a player, but not what actions were performed on them. The Voyeur learns what actions were performed on a player, but not who targeted them. The Motion Detector learns if any actions were performed by or on a player, but not what they were, or who else was involved. The biggest threat I feel would be that when you are forced to claim, there is a similar town role in the game. That forces a thunderdome. 2. It depends what the mods wanted out of the role. Sleepwalker could be just to weaken investigative roles (walks every night to a random person, does nothing, sees nothing). If it actually can gather information or is controlled, then it kinda is a whole different role altogether.

Thanks for that info kyan. Lots of possibilities. Makes me wonder if I should track Ouro to try to confirm our suspicions.

If I had to put a vote down right now, it would be on euphemism. Though that is a very easy target to vote for. Had it not been for their vote on Salva, I'd be considering Salva myself too. So I am not sure yet but I think it'll be one of euphemism/Salva/Exodu5/MattyG.
