Relax.
The only thing that is bugging me is how easily Stanley is seen as town :( He did NOTHING all game. Voted zipped two times and provided literally nothing at all. Still he is the most "confirmed" town, because of his gut feeling. Pff...
Everyone else is rambling and knows nothing for sure. I have no idea who the doc is. Maybe it's stanley? Sophia would've probably claimed before she was supposed to be lynched. Other than that we have Flame, who acted suspicious to survive again. I'd lean on Flame even though FEP pointed in the direction of Stan? (every spectator may laugh now :p)
btw you literally gave the same answer to kawl why fep isn't dead ("fear of a doctor?") I hope nobody catches this or thinks this is suspicious :o
--- cabot is a good fake claim, drunkness makes sense. sleepwalker who doesn't know he visits would fit the bill?

Would town believe we are masons? CabotxSplinter Loveboat revival? And we hid the fact to turn the game just now? Let's go gambiting :D

I didn't even read the responses to the quotes in your post until when it was too late I'm leaning towards claiming Bleeder. I kind of shut the door on unknowing sleepwalker with my last post (Why would I know I didn't visit you? why wouldn't I want to reveal that role?) Masons would make sense from a PR-movement standpoint. I'm not so sure about how they'll buy it, tough. I don't think we played like Masons? Would they ask each other questions and just in general try to avoid any obvious link? Because that's what we've been doing.

What do you say if fep saw you move? The bleeder doesn't explain any movement.
eh, the splintbot claim was posted more in jest than a serious option ;)
.. fep didn't saw the kills. only chance was the banana to sophia otherwise he'd long have offered a 1:1 trade. Does he have a shot left? Probably not. Fuck it. Let's bank on it. He has no shot left.
Did he see you give a banana to Sophia? Maybe? But wouldn't he have said something? And not try to out me as the banana guy? What happened D1? The heat on squidyj? Droplet voted out, who could he watch? Sophia? All I come back to is maybe.
Any one-shot option? They didn't pick up on the gender stuff this far into the game, they might after the next scum flip. What one-shot could you have used on Sophia the same night she got a banana? Keeping in mind nothing worth defending her for.
Or do we want to gamble that you weren't seen? Than the bleeder is an option. A new role not seen before fits the game.

I like your idea. It could potentially prolong the endgame and be an advantage to town, but this claim also screams don't lynch me, I'm useful.

Fluff is fluff. The woman lp described was just meant to be the classic honeypot. Literally nothing in fluff should ever be misconstrued for mechanics.

Fluff is fluff. The woman lp described was just meant to be the classic honeypot. Literally nothing in fluff should ever be misconstrued for mechanics. Yes, I know. But we also know how gafia is. There will always be discussion about fluff. I doubt that the current town will go "fluff is just fluff". If I flip a lady, zipped was a lady and a lady gave out a banana, the whole town will think banana=lady=evil. So if Flush claims banana guy, he will possibly be lynched later. And it's FAR MORE FUN to think of new roles that aren't even in the game! At this point I may congratulate Decoy Octopus again, I'll always love this claim :) Now I want to be a tree stump. Still allowed to post after being killed/lynched, but no vote. Tree stumps are cool. The help is appreciated, but we'll give our best anyway. Flush do you think it's worth reconsidering a banana claim? Is a bleeder implausible? I don't know, doesn't feel like it is. I heard there was a game with a neutral ascetic bulletproof cop?

Yeah, just because you say fluff is fluff doesn't mean Town believes that fluff is just fluff. The thing with banana is that I don't know why I would have behaved the way I did. If I was a town 1-shot banana guy I would have claimed to clear confusion. If I was neutral whose goal it is to redirect 2 lynches I couldn't really justify Sophia N1, since she wasn't under much heat on D1. If I am repeatable banana giver of Town, why would I give it to Crimson or squidyj, people who I read rather neutral? It doesn't make sense. I agree that FEP didn't see me killing anyone. The only possibility is that he watched Sophia N1, but why would he be on you for the fruit vendor business then? I don't think that happened. As I see it we only have to survive today. I can banana tonight and then we just have to make sure that the right one of us "gets lynched" while the other one isn't second. So I don't even care if FEP sees me doing stuff tonight. (Note that this all gets a bit more complicated if we aren't sure if tomorrow will be a no lynch since I can't banana us twice. So I would have wasted a banana and then we had to swing it away from whoever we set up... E: Oh, and we have to make sure that there isn't a tie for second place... But that's all stuff for tomorrow Anyway, my Magic playgroup is drizzling in, so expect lower activity until Saturday

Just read it. That's ... not as bad as you made it sound?
Let me think this through. Currently they think Fruit Vendor may be a Town aligned role. The fact that it's named fruit vendor makes them think that the banana does nothing, therefore implicating a 1-shot lynchproof on Sophia.
My visits as an ordinary fruit vendor would be chosen quite randomly, e.g. N1: Sophia N2: Myself N3: CrimsonFist
Why would I be against claiming? Why didn't I say anything D2? These are all problems I have with this line.
Alternative: I tell the complete truth, minus my alignment. This begs the question why on earth I would have chosen myself/squidyj on N2 and mayself/CrimsonFist on N3 (N1 was a random choice since I didn't know what the banana did, but after D2 I should have come to the conclusion, especially since m very first post that day mentions that possibility). I read neither of them as particulary Town and I myself wasn't about to get lynched. The only solution I see is being x-shot and wanting to save my remaining shots until I saw something looming on someone I was convinced was Town.
Does this make sense?
Also, Stanley being a vig fucks my D5 plan over big time. We now can't log someone in palce 2 while having one of us with banana as vote leader since Stanley just shoots us down.

Game is on the final edge. This is the point we either lose or win the game, that is what is making me nervous.
As you said a random fruit vendor would not explain your behaviour.
x-shot fruit vendor sounds better. Can you somehow reason why you gave it to Sophia D2? If you have shots left you are bound to give it to someone tomorrow and explain it.
1-shot? But why use it the first night?

" A 1 shot unlynchable role seems likely scum to me. " from kawl
E: Ah, I totally skipped most of the discussion. Kawl is suspicious of Sophia for being lynchproof.

If you have shots left you are bound to give it to someone tomorrow and explain it. 1-shot? But why use it the first night? If I didn't know what it did, it's just random, so why not choose Sophia. That#s the easy part. If I claim to know it gives unlynchable it gets a bit more tricky. I had Sophia as Town D1, but noone saw that lynch coming, so giving it to her "just to be sure" doesn't make a ton of sense. If anything I would claim 3-shot (or 2-shot) waiting for a good opportunity to use it. " A 1 shot unlynchable role seems likely scum to me. " from kawl That's exactly why I'm hesitant to put anything else than the "Vanilla" fruit vendor into the ring. Fuck. The Vanilla Fruit Vendor thing has more holes but could get us further and is easier to believe in a vacuum. The x-shot unusual fruit vendor also has some holes and eases the pressure on Sophia but it could explain why noone got bananas D3 and D4 without me having to target the killtarget both times.

Would a confrontation course help us? To say you were blocked?
But fep is holding back something, might not be a good idea. Also this huge downside for tomorrow, when kawl would flip, so better we don't.

you were hesistant to claim you did not clear up anything about bananas
vanilla fruit vendor - randomly give out bananas - sophia n1, yourself n2, crimson n3
banana lynchproof - x shot - sophia n1 - targets to come?
----- Another idea: What if you have different items? Banana - lynchproof-shot Apple - rb-shot Orange - doc-shot
You'd still have to explain why Sophia N1. You roleblocked someone N2, squidyj? Targeted the killed? Gnah, this all isn't convincing.
We have to sell a story. And we have to sell real good.

You're cabot and give out lynchproof bananas randomly every other night? Or even on purpose?
Sophia N1, Crimson N3?

If it's x-shot and I know what it does it doesn't make sense to give it to Sophia N1. I think in general I can get away with targeting the killed person once. Not twice.
How about actually using my role? Sorian, Palmer, may I have the fluff for the banana receiving?
I'm indeed a Fruit vendor, but with a twist: I can give out a banana each night. My role does not specify what the banana does (well technically it also could do nothing at all, I guess). I can not give the banana to the same person twice, except if every player alive (including myself) already got a banana. I targeted Sophia more or less at random N1. After D2 I wanted to find out if the banana was responsible for the redirected lynch and if it maybe said so in the message Sophia apparently got. Maybe she decided to hide her lynchproofness for whatever reason. Maybe the banana did no such thing at all. So I targeted myself N2. And indeed I got a massage, just explaining that I got a banana from a hot lady and that I feel fruity now. There was no other indication of what the banana did. With that in mind I tried to choose a target that was in some danger of getting lynched but I didn't read as particular Scummy myself. That target was CrimsonFist, who got NKd the same night. And here I am, not wanting to reveal this role, that I believe (the circumstantial evidence is pointing towards it) may be a very powerful one.

It hurts that it is so close to the truth. Could somebody figure out you lie? Maybe. I think this is a good shot. Let us find some quotes that crimson was in danger of getting lynched/ at least not town read, I think that's the biggest uncertainty.

You chose crimson on N3 because you thought he was town. Not because he was in danger of getting lynched. No one else was trustworthy enough to possibly become lynchproof that night. He got townread by a few people and you agreed.
Sophia will also question what the more or less at random means, but we can think of something surely.
Otherwise your text is good :) I like it. It falls good in line with your behaviour all game. You should probably stop by the thread soon ;)

Or I chose Crimson because he was some middle-of-the-road player for me who wasn't in immediate danger of getting lynched. With no clear Scum candidate on my side I chose to give the banana to someone who very well might be Scum but wouldn't get lynched today, so I can give the banana to my actual Town candidates later in the day. I like this one better, since I never really voiced great trust in Crimson.
