Dark Theme is best theme. Now I can respond to accusations while I'm in bed at night without hurting my eyes as much! (Actually how much control over things do you have Retro? If you can, look into changing the quick reply textbox to a darker grey with a light grey font). I haven't seen an option on that yet, but it's on my to-do list. It annoys me, too. I also want to change how the info to the left is displayed, (mostly to make it match closer to GAF) but I'm not sure how to do that yet. Hi! Welcome (back) to Gafia! |

Meanwhile, I set mine back to default because dark theme bugs me (wow, I do 50ppp and default light theme, I am terrible, aren't I?). The logo and board name at the top look rough when you are in default theme but if everyone is using dark theme, it's no big loss.

I made the logo for Dark first and then recolored parts of it quickly to make a light theme. I'll just remake the light version later. |

Darryl raised a good point that it will be more difficult to post anonymously here than it was for QT. Might make Burb's target games harder. People could create alt accounts or change their names, I suppose. (I would appreciate people not making alt accounts before this comes up, though.)

Target game's were always open to that though. Most people on QT couldn't make an account as "German Shepard" for example because it was taken so everyone was posting as "guests." Target Game requires a bit of a gentlemen's code.

Yeah, but quick topic has the exact same problem, and in the end nobody did that. Agreed. Like I said, most areas will require a login to post. IF someone starts cheating, we can clamp down, but I don't see it being a huge problem. Hahaha, it's a brave new world. |
