I wish I'd thought of it sooner than this morning, I would've rewatched so I could work some quotes in better... though the way it's going I don't think I'm going to be able to use my mass of planned gifs  |

It's a really fun sort of Steampunk post-apocalyptic Horatio Hornblower adventure. It's called The Aeronaut's Windlass. I also really like his Dresden Files books. Urban fantasy with a heavy dose of noir. |

Well, it is mostly meant as a replacement for Quicktopic. To continue this analogy, if outer gafia is the cool summer house, Quicktopic is more like the cabin from The evil dead. It looks run down on first sight, then you enter it and it is adequate for your needs and even has a certain charm. But if you stay too long, it turns into a living nightmare. |
