"Woof 2 had the sheriff, but it was a confirmed town role" There was a scum mayor in Woof 1 too.

Burb giving up is a bummer tbh. Not to myself, if burb is playing sometime soon be sure to go give him the Miller role till he likes it and does not give up.

So Cabot DM'ed me on Discord about what he was. No spoilers, but I like your taste, nin.

Blarg's Skrillex comment counts as a role claim, right? So that's 4.

Lets see if I can decipher the Blarg: www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198878030&postcount=83 - Self-explanatory. He's not ready for the role he received. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198950966&postcount=314 - All the other players are missing the bigger picture. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198951232&postcount=316 - Zelda OOT reference...? Either way, referencing his previous post. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198952458&postcount=317 - Can't make out the character he posted, but he name claimed as Triple H here. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198987400&postcount=397 - Self-explanatory. OMGUS reply. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198993520&postcount=432 - Here's where it gets tricky.... he's implying something game related to ultron87. He's the master of these games? Or that Ultron doesn't know how to play these games and Blarg always gets to be Blarg? www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198993744&postcount=435 - OMGUS Vote against Kawl, because Kawl prod (?) voted him. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198994432&postcount=443 - His role is something that'll be fully understood later, either by himself or by the players playing the game. Related, but does any WWE wrestler have an association with Skrillex? Like a theme or something..? www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198997752&postcount=476 - Implying that Bowlie needs to think for himself. Occam's Razor is, in simple terms, a principle which states that the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely something is. Wrestling being fake is the most logical explanation as to why all the crazy shit happens in it. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198998956&postcount=481 - Bowlie still doesn't get it, therefore Blarg is done talking to him. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=198999284&postcount=483 - Self-explanatory. The underlying implication is that Blarg may think Burb is scum. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199000692&postcount=488 - Acknowledgement of previous commentrary + hilarious Larry David image. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199002924&postcount=501 - Blargonaut is just warming up. www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199003940&postcount=503 - Sarcastic reply to those who think he'll be baited. Is this Nukedeggs's first game / first game with Blarg? www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199004666&postcount=505 - Self-explanatory. Has business with Palmer. Maybe serious, maybe not? www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199005614&postcount=508 - Doesn't want to speak about Occam's Razor, or he's disappointed in Palmer? Or both? www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=199005918&postcount=509 - Self-explanatory, but I can't help but wonder if the "Arsonist role slip" comment is a way of covering up for a prod vote. My current theory: Blargonaut is a townie who has a role that becomes substantially more useful as the game progress. An investigation role, perhaps? Or maybe something even more powerful...?

Yes, this is nukedeggs first game with blargonaut. And gafia as a whole. Thought so. That might explain why the response was uncharacteristically kind for Blarg.

Spectating a game while having access to the design doc is fun! You can look at spectators speculating and trying to figure things out.

Blarg as a neutral roleblocker? Maybe a roleblocker, but probably not neutral? Spectating a game while having access to the design doc is fun! You can look at spectators speculating and trying to figure things out. It certainly is fun.

This constant arguing over role names makes me want to have a game where there are only two names, and they're all different versions of the characters. Or at least there are two of every character. With someone left out in the cold of having a lone name, like sawneeks in the test game. They can be town. Just to remind players that just because a game doesn't qualify as bastard, doesn't mean moderators don't qualify as bastard.

Role names should be completely meaningless.
Somewhat related: I had an idea for a Doctor Who Mafia, where every role is the Doctor, as a bonus, it would guarantee a doctor lynch day 1.

Role names should be completely meaningless. Somewhat related: I had an idea I fully support it. As a property, it makes sense for that to work. Of course this thread is too public to plan in.

Matt Attack feels like a HEEL? This might be enough to get town to swing on him as an alternative lynch candidate.

It's day 1, there will be last minute voting chaos and someone will get lynched for a dumb reason.

Totally called Blarg being a townie.

Post by Sophia on Mar 24, 2016 14:38:46 GMT -8
Lets see here...
Blarg is apaprently town. There's the Scrafty - Burb relationship There's the Scrafty - Seath - Retro triangle There's the Cabot - squidyj relationship.
Hmm.... if I were considering a day 1 lynch right now I might consider Scrafty or Cabot. But there's also a lot of people flying under the radar too.
The problem with Squidyj using his power on Blarg is that now he's likely to die if the Mafia have any common sense at all. He's town-confirmed and breadcrumbing a power. Unless his power is something that takes a scum down with him.
If Blarg does not die, I'd almost suspect Squidyj of being scum. But if he is scum, he lied about what the results of his ability does. Hmm...
