Fun fact: Roy and I were chatting earlier, and he was telling me ideas for what he's going to do if/when he roleclaims. GC has just inadvertently hinted/claimed Roy's role. Roy is now pissed.

Actually, now that I look at it, what GC is doing is actually fairly clever. If it works.

Spoilers! GC is the Boss, and is hinting heavily that he is Psycho Mantis, who reads minds. (Which would obviously be a Cop.) Assuming he survives today, he can activate his ability, (To go on "Alert" and shoot anyone who visits,) and probably kill someone who is coming after him. He's painting a target on his back and laying a trap.
Now, obviously there are several flaws in this plan. The Doctor could decide to protect him, which would probably kill the Doctor. Roy could investigate him to find out who he really is, (because claiming cop when you aren't is a bit of a scumtell) and die in the process. Or the Mafia could send Snake, who is immune to the Boss' ability. Whew, that felt like a very Alton Brown Cutthroat Kitchen explanation. I should bring Alton back soon. I miss him. |

Well Swamped has already figured out what's going on with the Dead Thread.
Although I love the idea of an alternate-reality Mafia Game, where the winners get to send info into the main game, or even come back. Going to have to remember that for the future.

This would probably work better in longer Mafia games, but you could have players vote on who can send information back to the Medium, and also give them a limited number of words (based on RNG each night,) that they are able to use.
I might have to work this in somewhere.

The way it works now, the player has to pick who sends them information, and the dead guy only gets one post.
