i feel like they're in a gossip chat or something, I'm having a hard time understanding how scrafty is so convinced about CB unless they have some sort of back channel communication, either during the day or the night before.
Well made my first post, I am going to play the mystery card right now since the heat is not as high as it was before, and get people to focus on me. Also I made a subtle hint about Harry Potter, as in "twins", that would help me with my claim later on as Iris.
I don't know if that is a good idea, since now we know someone can remove blackmails from people and we don't know exactly how. Is it possible they can somehow track when someone was blackmailed? Seems risky to me.
Also the only person who will be safe to claim that would be squid, since he is confirmed town it will make sense for him to be blackmailed.
Squid, as long as Xam is alive people will focus suspicion on him, not you, since hes actions are hasty for a cop that has not found a single scum yet. Just keep playing like a vanilla town and you should be fine.
that's the game. I spent all day chasing other targets instead of bussing down salva like I should have when I knew at the start of the day exactly how much he was the lynch target. I didn't even get to put a vote in or say anything because he got fucking hammered while I was away. So now There's this entire day phase of me ignoring the scummiest player in the room and that's the only thread they're gonna need.
I can't help but feel that way too. There are only two of us at this point (unless there are an incredible number of neutrals). That hammer.
Still, you appear town and I have a fairly innocuous (and very real) power, so we could probably blend in for a few more days. It's essential that Xam stay alive-- I'm still unsure of his being a town cop. Perhaps we can kill Star tonight (or on the next night, if we're still alive), and Scrafty today? CB looked very scummy today.
Kill possibilities: Scrafty, roy Watch: Crimson, CB, Xam
On the next day phase I'm going to remind scrafty about the serial killer problem, one of her arguments against lynching star was that "she doesn't feel like she has a team behind her" or something. Gonna remind her that someone doesn't need to be part of a team to be a threat to town. The question is, as always, how many mislynches do we need, and that depends on night kills.
we are 2/14 if 2 town die every night and we avoid the butcher's blade we will achieve majority in 2/12 -> 2/9 -> 2/6 -> 2/3, 3 mislynches. This would be an RNG blessing from the gods and would require our serial killer friend to be unlimited. If CB is telling the truth and he gives me the override for no good reason whatsoever that's a free mislynch for a day (assuming I don't get NKd) but it can only come at the end of the chain. It's more realistic to think that we will need as many as 5 'mislynches' from this point which is an even more harrowing prospect.
So here's the rub, every night that there's one less kill than there could have been adds to the mislynches we need, but if we need such a high number of mislynches and we only have 2 players left we also want to take steps to reduce information flow and proactivity from town. I don't think we can rush out easy kills at this point, we have to go big or go home and hit a relatively active and leading player.
Just letting you both know that I moved the night phase end up a bit so I'll need your actions within about 24 hours of this post. Goddamn is making the kill so I'll just need a target and then a watch/track target.
