The numbers are against us and that is not even our greatest problem. That title would go to the fact that we are not read as town. These two issues, when combined, lessen our already shit win chance to abysmal levels. We are at 7-1-1. It is not very likely that we win, but at the moment I think we can survive for a phase or two. Two phases would be four dead pairs and should the bomber be able to exit the stage unharmed, they would make the fifth. Something like a 3-0-1 would thus be the best-case-scenario going two days forward. That would put town into lylo and give us the small chance to win.

For us to get to the lylo, we must, duh, survive. I think our highest priority, the only one in fact, is killing confirmed and semi-confirmed townies. In my eyes, they would be the following three:

6. [m] UltraJay & [m] Boo Boo'n Kark’s track and Coppaflame’s hunt for them gives them towncred.

Others are imo in-betweeners like ourselves, falling somewhere between relative inactivity and non-committal. To our eyes, bats might seem like a good target for town to kill, but who knows what the dumdums think. One thing to note is that if 3-0-1 occurs, we can’t ourselves lynch all of the three above. We can only do that if the neutral has to stay longer than anticipated.

This goes into my recommendation of a kill. It should be no surprise. The cat. We cannot allow the creation of confirmed or semi-confirmed townies. We do not have the time to kill four of them. And letting them go through just leads to our falling right before the finish line. By killing the cat we prevent the final confirmation and get rid of a confirmed townie who has great power in leading the town discussion.

The disadvantage is obvious too for it has been chanted like religious doctrine. Yes, there might be a protective role. I don’t care. We are rather unpredictable now. Town thinks we are afraid of the mighty protector of night one who we know might or might not exist. Town also thinks we are killing those who post much. Does the mighty unknown have shots still in their gun? Who knows, I think it is about time we test it.

Blocking ourselves would be beneficial if we ever wanted to fake claim town blocker. I don't think that would work very well, considering that all the claimers that have been lynched so far have turned out to be scum. If it comes to claiming, I feel we have to claim Ordinary or the Mr. Magical Town Savior, Doctor Towngood M.D.. I think we can't account for trackers / watchers / whatevers in relation to our claim anymore.

When I suggested that we block ourselves, I was more thinking about using it as town credibility rather than for a claim, as in, we would come out and say we got role blocked. Everyone would then try and figure out if anyone else had been role blocked. I realize now though that it won't work as the only pair we ever role-blocked is dead. Also, I don't think we want to try and role-block twice as it might get fishy with two days of no kills.

Do you think it's worth the risk of killing Kark/Zipped? We know they aren't cops and they could very well hit a dud.
